Gite Dayet Aoua

We stayed for one night at this beautiful house and wished we had time to stay longer! Our host was welcoming and kind, and is a large reason for our desire to return! Our room was spacious and comfortable, with hot water and a space heater. We had a lovely breakfast prepared for us and enjoyed seeing the animals. We would absolutely recommend this location!

Fun animals and very peaceful (we were the only people here). Food was great. Room was cute, clean and spacious with great bathroom. WiFi worked great. Friendly people Swimming pool was unfortunately closed. The whole house smelled like anti fungus or chlorine There is not really anything to do around here but with and open pool and the animals I think it is a fun place to stay for the night.

Beautiful experience! The house is very nice, cozy and quiet. It was cold but we had 2 small heaters in our room and lots of blankets. Breakfast and dinners were delicious! The best food we had in the whole trip. The young man working there was very kind and patient. Our kids loved the garden, the peacocks, the hens and, even if the pool was empty, had a lot of fun. I would love to come back for more days in the summer to hike and bike the beautiful surrounding mountains!

We stayed at the Gite with friends and had a wonderful time. It was a little more rustic than we expected. Rooms were nice, clean and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were surprisingly small, damp with no ventilation and a surprising lack of towels. The owner was there the first day - then we never saw him again. The staff was friendly and accommodating but sometimes hard to find. The meals were good, but not anything to write home about. It was a good base for activities but the staff don't do much to give you advice on what to do - you needed to be well informed in advance. Our children loved the peacocks - very entertaining. We were a bit surprised to find no pool based on one of the seasonal photos - just a half empty pond. The canal behind the gite is a lovely place to cool off your feet and let the kids play.

This was a lovely place to stay. Great accommodation, location and food. It costs 650 dirham per night including diner for 2. It is slightly more expensive than other parts of Morocco as is the rest of the area. The major drawback is that there is no information available if you want to explore the area (on foot). So, please be prepared before you arrive (we selected and uploaded treks on AllTrails)

It's near a lake, not lake front. It does not have a pool, it's a "cement pond" that is not filtered or chlorinated, etc. It was dirty and only had 1 foot of water in it when we were there. The staff are nice. The breakfast is coffee, tea, and 2 bread choices with butter and jam. The place is pretty sparse, probably a 2-3 star hotel at best.||It is NOT worth the price though, should be much cheaper.||No internet, but didn't need it.||There's a stream out back that is nice to put your feet in.||The main problem is that their website makes it appear to be a much nicer place than it really is.

The place is near a lake, which affords a beautiful walk with plenty of birds and even a possibility to rent a small paddle- or row-boat. The place is lovely with peacocks reigning over the courtyard and chicken and some other fowl cackling away in a small enclosure.||The rooms are tastefully decorated with ethnic pieces, each looks completly different and has a different view either out a window or a door.||The food was nice, breakfast was served outside.||The staff was pleasant.||A very restful stay.

This Was a strange experience: the Place Is charming, Both inside and out, and the food was very good (turkey tagine yum). Purpose They Were Totally non-welcoming, and We Got the impression thats the server at dinner Hated o guts. We Kept wondering What We Were doing wrong. Do They Have So Many locals optometrist CAN Afford to disdain foreign tourists? They Do Have a very friendly and loving kitten, however.
