The Hotel has a great location, and that's about it. Although the owner is very courteous to the customers, everything else is very precarious. First of all, when I booked the room, I thought I was renting a room with a bathtub, just as it showed in the picture at the time of booking. Apparently that room doesn’t exist. That said, it seems to me a false advertising. ABOUT THE ROOM - That's not a room. It has no window, just a skylight. There is no ventilation, only a fan is used to ventilate it. The "room" looks like it was rushed just to get more guests as fast as possible. The owner calls the room "Japanese room", just because it has two sliding doors (French style). But it doesn’t have any kind of insulation for noise and faces the dining room and kitchen, which is where guests sit to have breakfast and talk. If you are sleeping in that cubicle, good luck, you will listen to everything, so you have to wakeup with everybody else. So, if you travel to Montreal to have fun at night and just want a place to sleep, this isn’t the place. I also noticed a brown stain on the sheet at bedtime. I do not know what it was and rather not know. I like to enjoy every second of the city. And so I'm going back to the room late. And so obviously, like any clean person in the world, I like to take my bath before bed. But in that place, you can not because you're going to bother other people with noise. Speaking of the bathroom, the doors do not have latches or locks. Good luck.
