Giunti Odeon - Cinema

I recently visited Giunti Odeon in Florence and it was truly one of the most unique places I experienced in the city. It’s a beautiful combination of a historic cinema and a modern bookstore, creating a space that feels both cultural and relaxing at the same time. The architecture is stunning — elegant, grand, and full of character — yet the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming. Walking inside feels special, whether you’re browsing books, enjoying the ambience, or simply sitting and taking in the surroundings. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend hours without noticing time pass. The blend of cinema history with contemporary design gives it a very sophisticated but accessible vibe.

Amazing place! Small selection of books in English and some with English/Italian translations. The other books are in Italian (obviously). I really enjoyed book hunting in this atmosphere. What a cool concept. They have a very wide range of books for all; Manga, young adult, children's, mystery, thriller, classic, history, philosophy, religion, coffee table books... If you're a book lover, you must visit this location. The books are stunning and so is the building.

We seen the new movie Bugonia here and it was a beautiful experience. I love the concept of a bookstore and cinema conjoined. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and I would love to see a film here again.

What a gem! If you're visiting Florence, you should try checking out a movie at 9 PM! They do different movies every day or so and the building interior is just so beautiful. Can't think of a better cinema to watch a movie!

An amazing bookstore inside a theater it’s more than a store it’s an experience a place to stay and enjoy time for reading or watching a movie and escape from the crowded town outside ! Don’t miss it! There’s also a good part of English books and many ideas for gifts of paper !

saw “one battle after another” here & the sound/picture were great. seats are so comfortable & the theater is beautiful!!! went during the day for the bookstore too & it was very nice.

One of the most gorgeous bookshops I have ever seen, located in a former cinema. You can watch free movies while perusing, and the selection of English books is quite decent.

Really nice book shop with the documentaries cinema upstairs and free, the place is packed with young students kids, place full of foreigners kids and tourists. You can seat here and relax for hours, warm and can watch boring documentaries with no sense all day but there is no sound as all students around talk. Saw only 4 people that were over 40 in this place so don't know if this place is directed only to the kids. They have toilets also but no toilet paper and it's dirty. Nice place to visit just for unwinding.
