The food here is amazing. We were looking to try a new Italian restaurant and this came across so we gave it a shot and now I think we found our new favorite restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious the service is excellent. The owner is so nice and always checking if we were happy with our food. We will definitely be regulars from now on. The fresh clams with black pasta is a chef’s kiss!

Would love to share my views on the food, but they would not honor our reservation. We made our reservation for Valentine's Day a month in advance. When we showed up a few minutes early, there was one table opening up. But no, that was for someone who came in after us and sat themselves at it while we stood in the tiny crowded dining area waiting to be seated. Someone (the owner?) eventually came to offer excuses...they had 46 seats and 160 reservations, and they can't kick people out, right? Ok, that's true, but he couldn't tell us if we would get the next available table, even though we were the only ones waiting, and after a few minutes said we also couldn't wait inside and "hover around people trying to eat". Sir, I was a person trying to eat - that's why I made a reservation. I guess I was supposed to linger outside in the 50° damp weather until such time as they decided to grace us with seats, and no, they wouldn't take out number to text us. He mentioned his 'regulars' so maybe they have first priority? Since it was Valentine's Day and we knew we'd never get seated anywhere else in time to make our movie later, we ended up getting chicken at nearby Wing Kings, which was actually very good. Them, I recommend. Lots of seats in that place.

The lasagna was pretty good, more on the salty side though which I like but might bother others. The bread was not good. The portion of lasagna is way too small for $18. Absurd.

Greg and I were trying to go to the AZ state fair 9/26/2023, but due to our poor planning, the fair is only open Thursday-Sunday, lol. We then looked up Giuseppe's via Guy Fieri's AZ Triple D's restaurant recommendations. We started off with an appetizer "Suppli di Riso" along with garlic bread our bread was $5.00. OMG, the 3 risotto balls were filled with mozzarella, lightly coated, then fried, resting in a marinara sauce $10.00. For dinner, Greg had the "Italian Mac and Cheese" made with Parmigiano, mozzarella, fontina, prosciutto, cream, and butter baked until golden brown "HOT" $19.00. Absolutely devine. I liked it better than mine, but don't get me wrong, mine was just as delicious! I had the "Bolognese Ragu" homemade tagliatelle with their famous 7 meat ragu $21.00. Their noodles were sooo tender they almost melted in your mouth. Greg drank a Peroni lager $6.00, and I had the Arceno Chianti Classico $8.50. For dessert, we were going to try the Tiramisu but were beat out of the last piece. We ended up trying the "Keylime Mascarpone Tart $7.00. It was ok. I don't think I'd order again.

Went to this restaurant while I was in Phoenix. Hole in the wall tucked in a strip mall. Restaurant is very small. Glad we made reservations. Food and service were really good. Had a very nice meal

Google
So I'm only giving this three stars because we came to eat there once, the food was really good. I have no complaints with that, best Italian food I've ever had in my life. You'll never find Italian food like this anywhere else....However, we've tried to eat there again a couple times in the last month and it's the second time we tried to go in there, last week and they close early because it's not busy. We even went in there 2 hours before they said they close on Google. So the fact that we get refused service every time we try to go there now is very disappointing. It's great food. However, if you're never going to be open, then I guess we'll try to look for another Italian restaurant that will always be willing to serve us instead of turn us away because you're closing 2 hours early all the time. My stepfather only comes into town once in awhile too because he's a trucker and he only sees my husband, his son very little and we were planning on coming here to eat with my stepfather and he doesn't get to come out here very often so that's even more of a disappointment.

Had a nice meal just after arriving at the airport and a long day of travel. Started with the tomato, olive and avocado salad. Fantastic! Big enough for two to share as an appetizer. Main course of their specialty bolognese with pappardelle pasta. The sauce with seven meats was excellent. The pasta is homemade but mine was over cooked. Would definitely return and recommend.

Food was not good at all. The bread for the brushetta tasted store bought, one of the bruschetta was just a slice of bread with a slab of blue cheese on it. I ordered the cavatelli with pork rib and black olives. There was no black olive flavor at all (i think it was left out for some reason?). No sauce at all. A few bites of the pasta had bits of pork bone in it which was texturally off putting. Cavatelli was cooked al dente and the pork was tender but everything just swam in the pork grease and only tasted of salt and maybe some pepper. Very one dimensional, very disappointed for spending $24 for that dish. The pool of grease (sauce) in my pictures was in just a third of my leftover pasta and had no flavor. It was pretty gross. The restaurant had some nice art inside but seating felt cramped. Definitely don't see a reason to ever come back with so many other better Italian options around town.

Yelp
I have always found the large "As seen on TV" sign outside to be a little obnoxious, but I'm not going to lie, also intriguing. Decided for take out from GO28. First impression was that the interior was very nice. Good date night spot. I ordered the chicken parm. What gravitated me towards this dish was the sou vide chicken as I'm a big sous vide guy. The chicken itself was delicious. The accompanied pasta tasted average, didn't taste like it was made in house as well as the bread.

Yelp
Giuseppe's On 28th is delicious Italian food with fantastic customer service. I wish they were in my hometown! This restaurant is small, but the food served is bold and flavorful. Upon entry you will see a petite outdoor seated section and inside every inch of space is used for tables. But do not worry you are not touching the elbow of the table next to you! The tables are covered in red and white linens. A chalkboard with specials is up for the evening. There is a window to see back into the kitchen. The food is delicious! Also priced well for the portion size and quality. The Osso Buco was incredible. I would highly recommend. A classic tiramisu that was scrumptious. I hope they sell it by the half or whole pan for the holidays! The customer service is excellent. We were met as soon as we entered and seated swiftly since we had a reservation. The staff gave wonderful recommendations and their favorites. The owner checked on us and all of the tables frequently. He was friendly and made conversation with us. If you are looking for a fantastic Italian restaurant experience from beginning to end Giuseppe's On 28th is where you need to be!

Yelp
I came to Giuseppe's On 28th for a Timeleft (meetup) dinner. Timeleft chose the place and made a reservation on my group's behalf. It's a small and cozy restaurant. Even though they accommodated my group of five, I don't recommend Giuseppe's for groups. They also don't split checks, which can be challenging for groups. I ordered the following: Espresso martini $14 Spaghetti Neri $27 The espresso martini was just okay. The Spaghetti Neri is one of their signature dishes and features house-made squid ink pasta with shrimp, calamari, and clams in a tomato broth. It's delicious and the portion is generous. There's a ton of seafood in it. Easy to see why it's a Yelper favorite! Service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
Giuseppe's is definitely one of those tucked away spots you'd never think of giving two cents without someone bringing it up. The first thing I noticed- they are very proud of having received TV exposure and incorporated that into their sign. It's also super small, a very intimate place. For our fairly large dinner reservation we took up a chunk of real estate. The ladies who took care of us were super nice, gave us space to chat. At the end of the night it felt like we were a little rushed out but we also had been there for a few hours. It's kinda nice that their menu is not fancy (literally just pieces of paper). The wine list - not terribly expansive but enough to cover their bases for all food items. The food menu - fairly simple, they know what works for them. Options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and they allow you to sub different pastas out (not sure if it's an up-charge). For the price the portions seem a little small but the flavors are there, and it's fresh pasta -- no post-pasta bloat here! They don't do separate checks for large groups so props to one of the guys for doing the dirty work to figure $$$ out for us individually. I can see this would be a fun spot to dine al fresco when the weather is nice.

Yelp
When you are here, you are family! The warmth of the staff is genuine from the second you enter this cozy establishment. My friends know everyone here, but it was clear this is a favorite place everyone here. The fried risotto appetizer was so good. The Bolognese Ragu was wonderful! Loved the experience. Sad, I don't live here to visit more often to order more. Seating is available inside and out. Limited in space, but worth the visit. Perusing the signed photos on the way, it is clear the history here is long and storied. Come on by and see what I mean. You will enjoy the food, the vibe, and the warm welcome.

Yelp
I love coming to this restaurant for special occasions! Rich is an amazing owner and Cindy makes sure everyone is taken care of. I have been here for anniversaries, birthdays, and Valentine's Day- and every time I have left with a smile on my face. It is the perfect laid back atmosphere and you can always expect incredible food. My favorite dish is the the bolognese ragu; and their lobster ravioli special will always hit the spot!
google avatar

Shanika H.

Yelp
Definitely not the greatest Italian food in the valley. The restaurant is tiny. Nothing fancy. Cute little patio area. Went for dinner tonight. The service was not great. The sign said they were open yet they rushed our table out. They clearly didn't pay attention to the details provided in the reservation. Prices are fairly cheap. Good for an average night out, but not something I'd recommend for a special occasion. The food was mediocre nothing to rave over, but decent for very basic Italian food.

Kissy T.

Yelp
A gem in Phoenix, where the food is almost as delightful as the owner himself - an old school restauranteur who takes the time to greet and meet all of his customers. The black pasta melts in your mouth - the spicy sauce tickles my lips -- when this dish comes to my table, I want nothing more than to be left alone with it.
google avatar

Peggy G.

Yelp
Thank you, Yelpers! Would not have found this gem without you! Arrived with a lumberjack appetite. Left completely satisfied with enough of my entree for a lunch snack. Daily special of pork rib ragu over cavatelli. OMG! House salad to start with the lightest vinaigrette I've ever tasted. I sopped up every drop with my fresh bread. Finished with house made tiramisu. Visitors to the Biltmore area should eschew trendy spendy foo foo and settle in for a local treasure. Also, I couldn't resist a few tastes of my companion's red sauce. Exquisite, full flavored, sweet fresh tomato taste that's not over spiced. What a find!

Yelp
We always see this place when my bf gets his hair cut and we finally decided to try it out! Just an average Italian restaurant but gave me more like fast food home cooking vibes which was nice. Both our delicious were on the speciality list and very yummy! We got garlic bread but would pass next time and get some bruschettas. The lady was super sweet and attentive for how busy it got!
google avatar

Yelp
Giuseppe was featured in the Triple D show. Food here is amazing, and the service is great. The ambiance brings you to Italy. Seat is limied, and food can run out. Reservation is highly recommended.

Yelp
Great place EXCELLENT FOOD. In business 20yrs for a reason! One of the best, if not best Italian food in the valley

Yelp
excellent food and service. highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. Our first time in we had baked ziti, slow cooked pork and bruschetta. Wonderful experience
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Service is always friendly and attentive. Love that this place is small and friendly family like atmosphere with incredible food. Enjoyed the avocado salad with Butternut Squash Ravioli that had an amazing brown butter sauce and a wonderful egg plant parmigiana. Definitely worth it to come try this spot anytime.

Yelp
We ate Giuseppe's this past Friday and it was excellent. We had excellent service by 2 waitresses and they were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant isn't large but it's a very nice place to eat inside and out. We started with garlic bread and their risotto balls. They were really good. I had lasagna and my wife had the lobster ravioli. They were both very good. We've eaten at many Italian restaurants over the years and this place is definitely a gem in Phoenix. We took our dessert to go and had the tiramisu. It was the real deal. There's no cutting corners on flavors at Giuseppe's. It's a must if you're from the area or out of town, like we were from Indiana.

Yelp
Absolutely outstanding dining experience at Giuseppe's on 28th. Came with a group of 5 friends and shared multiple dishes. The lobster ravioli was perfectly cooked and buttery. The garlic bread was just like my mom used to make: Italian bread, sliced, covered in butter and garlic, and toasted. We asked for the gnocchi with a Gorgonzola sauce and subsequently an extra serving of Italian bread to mop up the leftover gravy. The wild boar paparadelle was good but the lasagna was outstanding. Richard worked the room and our friends. In our group the motto is "why do we tease? because we love!" And thus we absolutely adored Richard's dry sense of humor and gentle ribbing. You must end the dinner with the cannoli. It was the best! Yes, we will be back. Fun service, great food, comfortable atmosphere.
google avatar

Rob M.

Yelp
Food is always excellent, Cindy is the best, Richard is a character from New York that was a concert Cellist in Italy. We love this place! Cindy knows our order: house salad, bruschetta, Shrimp scampi with homemade pasta, and I order off menu--homemade pasta Arrabiata style with Olive Oil, Pepperoncini and garlic! Richard the grinch nixed the Jalapeno I used to order but we still love him.
google avatar

Jay L.

Yelp
Great service...fantastic food and menu...wonderful vibe. One of may fave spots always!!!

Yelp
I swear I must stop getting fooled by Guy Fieri! Warning - This is for what I ordered, I think this place has some nice quality, but I ordered the wrong stuff. My dad had the bolognese with homemade pasta, it was quite tasty. Everything else was disappointing. The suppli was quite soggy, the garlic bread was dripping oil, and I couldn't believe my spaghetti and meatballs came from the same cook as my dad's bolognese with homemade noodles. If I came back here, I would have the bolognese or try their baked ziti.

Kathi C.

Yelp
.What a disappointment, although I must say the service and staff were outstanding and friendly; however, we were the only occupied table. The prices online must have been from the last decade, as we spent $50 on two entrees; no salad, no bread, not even garnish. We were hoping to find a great Italian restaurant close to home, but as my dish was still cold around the edges, we will not be back.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place-- took a chance on its mixed reviews as they offer a lasagna without poke. Unfortunately, the Lasagna tasted like an Italian burger wrapped in pasta :(

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now. The food is good. It's a very small location, so you're packed in quite tightly. There is a patio, but I haven't used it as I came once in the summer, and it was super hot, and once in the winter, and it was too cold (there was one portable furnace thing). Food comes out quickly after ordering. I like the Caesar salad. It is quite different from any others I've had. It is more lemony, and less creamy. I also had the burrata and proscuitto. So good! Previously, I tried the gnocchi which was so good. This time I tried the scampi saute. Not gonna lie, I didn't expect the kick that it had. It wasn't too bad, but I could feel the heat. The desserts, never tried them. Nothing looks like I would like it. Aside from gelato, there aren't many Italian desserts I like.

Theresa L.

Yelp
Tried it for the first time on Wednesday evening. Ambiance was fine, but the food was not very good. I had the carbonara and my husband had the short rib special. I only ate 3 or 4 bites of my carbonara as it was tasteless and quite oily. My husband ate just about 1/2 of his, it was quite bland. Neither waitress asked if there was something wrong or if they could bring us something else (other than the check which came quickly). We will not be going back and don't recommend this place.

David H.

Yelp
Words cannot describe the flavor of the food, the charm of the setting, or the attentiveness of the staff. I have had the pleasure of trying many of the dishes here and I have not been even slightly disappointed once. The owner is a master of his craft and he PERSONALLY makes sure every guest is happy to the best of his or anyone's ability. Every person I know that has dined here falls in love immediately. Go to Giuseppe's!!!

Frankie F.

Yelp
Over the top good. 10 stars out of 5!!!! Service was super friendly. The cook did an exemplary job. Will Return!!!!
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Great food. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Friendly staff. We love sitting out on the patio.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Tucked away in an inauspicious spot, Giuseppe's did a wonderful job of delivering some really authentic Italian cuisine that took me right back to some wonderful meals I remember having in Florence. It's a small spot and the service was intimate and attentive, and the owner was a wonderful raconteur that amused our party. I'd very happily go back!
google avatar

Yelp
We walk to this shopping plaza quite often, and noticed Giuseppes one morning- so we walked over to check out the hours and then visited Yelp for reviews and menus. Having spent a few weeks in Spain a couple summers ago, squid ink pasta is one of my absolute favorite meals, so when I saw they offered this, we booked a reservation. This place is small and cozy, they do have outdoor seating but it's just too darn hot right now. I had the squid ink pasta (of course) and hubby had Osso Buco. We shared the burrata appetizer as well. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio (not very cold) and hubby had a Peroni. The food was VERY good all around, the Osso Buco literally melts in your mouth. My pasta dish was HUGE and I ate the rest for lunch the day after. They have a bustling take out business as well! Our reservation was at 5 and the place had quite a few tables in play; so it's a popular spot.
google avatar

Szervous Y.

Yelp
It's not crowded during the summer, so it was easy to grab a table. Haven't eaten here in years. The Burrata is real burrata, creamy inside & over prosciutto & arugula. My son got The baked ziti, which he liked and I felt was was just ok. They do have an OsoBucco for $45. (Keto people - we have a few great choices, however most of the menu is pasta as it's Italian :). Super nice staff, not over air conditioned. Casual, easy place to go.

Shawnna P.

Yelp
Best food ever. Unassuming restaurant in a strip mall. You won't believe you are not eating in Italy. The recipes come from there. The prices are so reasonable. Make a reservation and KEEP IT! Dine inside or on the patio. You will meet many friendly people from Phoenix, or from away. I recommend the lobster ravioli and the pasta bolognese. Many good wines. Don't be shy. Ask lots of questions. There is a check in offer :)

AJ M.

Yelp
Pasta e Fagioli is simple perfection. I could eat it daily. Everything else I've tried is very good.

Mel M.

Yelp
I rarely give out five star ratings but on the evening of June 28, 2024 I will say that Guseppe's was on top of its game. The variety of pasta dishes are sure to appeal to your taste preferences...from Bolognese to black ink and wonderful selection of home made pastas. My favorite which I have been back for year after year is the osso bucco over ample egg noodles, which however, has migrated from veal to pork to beef. I hesitated given my lust for veal, but I have to admit the beef was delicious and the serving so ample that I will gladly have the leftovers for another two dinners. As for value...the quality alone would warrant the same prices of the fancier Italian pasta dishes served in the Valley. However, prices are some 25% lower, so on a price to value perspective, Giuseppe continues to hold my top listing for Italian. Note: I was told that DDD has come back to visit them again so we should see Giuseppe reviewed on this popular tv show. I admit I don't like the rush of new people that the publicity drives to a small restaurant, but am glad for the owner cook who deserves the business.
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
My husband and I came here specifically to try the suppli. We went to Rome last Christmas and fell in love with this street food, which is hard to come by in the states. When we arrived at 4:45 the sign still said closed, but the friendly staff sat us regardless. We ended up starting off with suppli and garlic bread. We the food arrived, it was clearly microwaved. The suppli had no flavor or sauce on the inside and was mushy. The "garlic" bread was just toast with olive oil and pepper. The food was so bad, that we didn't even order entrees. I had really high hopes for this place.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
I love the food here but was so disappointed tonight. I've used DoorDash before but never again. 30 minutes after the pick up our bruschetta arrived soggy and a plate full of tomato and slices of wet bread. I highly recommend eating at the restaurant and enjoying an evening out. Still delicious, not worth the money for delivery.
google avatar

Jean R.

Yelp
Honestly not sure how this place made it on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. It's small, the menu doesn't have much variety, and the service could use some work. It does have more of a mom and pop feel to it minus the mom and pop welcome and service you'd expect. The bread that was brought out was cold and hard. For my entree, I went with the lobster ravioli and had I know it'd be 5 sad little looking ravioli, I would've ordered something else. Not sure if I went on an off day for the cooks and staff but I just wasn't pleased with the food nor service. If you're looking for good Italian, your best bet is to look elsewhere.

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday, shortly after 4 and was seated right away. It is a small place with a few tables out on their also small patio - if you want to enjoy Giuseppe's on 28th during the heavy dinner hours, I suggest making reservations. We did not but our early dining probably saved us from being turned away. They had a bruschetta special (any four for $11). Irritatingly, four types were listed on their chalk board, but they were out of one. It was a chalk board, why didn't they erase the one they couldn't serve? ;-) Regardless, the Gorgonzola & honey was my fav. It did take longer than expected for us to get it, considering there were only half a dozen other patrons, but I choose to believe the extended wait time was due to them making it fresh. The three large risotto balls were next; they came out piping hot. There wasn't a lot of flavor but they were good. I forced myself to only eat 1/2 because I wasn't sure how large the meal would be. Turns out the meals were not that large afterall, which is partially disappointing only because it was REALLY good and I had no left overs. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and I regret not getting a to-go order. My sister ordered the baked ziti. We both ate everything on our plate. There was a couple next to us, vocally enjoying their food. :-) I don't recall our server stating her name but the receipt says Jennifer. She was a Ninja. Quiet, efficient. We barely cleaned off our plates & emptied our water glasses and there she was, clearing them away and refilling the water pitcher. I would go to Giuseppie's again, although possibly check out the Scottsdale location.

Yelp
I highly recommend this neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food is outstanding. We ordered the calamari appetizer, an unbreaded delicious ring of seafood in marinara sopped up with garlic bread. For dinner, my friend ordered salmon pasta, shredded salmon on penne with a light sauce, I had the pasta with sausage and greens, my sister had the green chili penne. We all enjoyed. The restaurant is small, reservations recommended. Photos of famous folks who have stopped by adorns the walls. Richard, the owner, spent time talking to our table. So charming. Plenty of parking

Yelp
Chose this place somewhat randomly as I am not from Phoenix but was picking someone up at the airport and then heading out of town- wanted to fill our bellies first! We did make a reservation and there was a table outside ready for us when we arrived. Our server had just the right about of sass and it allowed for some playful repartee as we ordered and ate. Apologies that I can't comment on the individual dishes we ordered, but I can tell you that everything was very tasty! Check out photos included as I might be able to comment more when I upload them and remember! Meal was prompt but not rushed, and our tummies were definitely satisfied as we headed on our way!

Yelp
I've been to Giuseppe's twice now and both times have been excellent experiences! I don't live very close to the restaurant but I will definitely add it to the rotation when in the area. Giuseppe's has an old-school feel - intimate, warm and inviting. Not too fancy or fussy, which suits me just fine. There is a patio for al fresco dining. We went mid-week and didn't have a reservation, which was no problem as there were a few available tables. I suspect it would be a good idea to reserve on weekends. Our party of three started with the risotto balls and garlic bread. The balls (three per order) were perfectly cooked and the bread was crunchy but not dried out - good stuff! My wife had the pasta al limoncello - big ribbons of pasta with a delicate lemony cream sauce and some prosciutto mixed in. Our friend had the ravioli quartet (which are actually six ravioli but stuffed with four different fillings) and I got the spaghetti a la carbonara. All the dishes exceeded expectations. The carbonara was just a touch salty if you are sensitive, but not unusually so. The portion size was not excessive but filled us up while also leaving room for dessert. We ordered the cannoli and the flourless chocolate cake (which had a bonus large scoop of spumoni sitting on top!). Top quality ingredients made the desserts a superb way to end a great meal. Food: High quality and prepared with care. Service: Efficient and friendly, very upbeat without being annoying Value: Especially when compared to other choices in the area, Giuseppe's offers solid value. A good sign is that it seems a lot of "regulars" come there. Give Giuseppe's a try!

Yelp
5 stars times 10. Found this gem of a restaurant while visiting Scottsdale and we did not leave disappointed. We met Rich Bock-the owner...well, just Google him to see how accomplished this man is. Visit this tiny, intimate restaurant and be wowed about how amazing the staff and food are. We leave the day after tomorrow, but honestly, I'd have dinner here again before we leave. Thank you Rich, for making us feel like regulars!

Yelp
wow, we've been wanting to come here forever because of DDD. I partially grew up right down the street. i ordered the Bolognese ragu and it was very good, would order again. i wanted the ossu buco but didnt see it on the menu, i dont think they have it all the time, maybe a special sometimes? need to go back for that

The first time we went there, we had the marinara and the Bolognese. The marinara sauce was average - no better than Olive Garden. The Bolognese, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious. Also, the meatballs are great as well. The Bolognese comes with what they call "tagliatelle" but is actually some very wide (1 1/2") noodles that aren't classic tagliatelle. They are clearly fresh and, the first time, they were delicious, albeit a little unwieldy. Americans like tons of sauce on their pasta, while Italians like it lightly dressed. This was thinly dressed, even by Italian standards. More sauce would be appropriate. Tonight, I went back and got takeout. I ordered and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. 37 minutes later, my order was finally ready. I ordered pasta and meatballs - something that takes 5 minutes to cook. Either they forgot my order or they are woefully understaffed. Then, when I got home, the meatballs were delicious as usual, but the "tagliatelle" was horribly overcooked. So, unfortunately, they are inconsistent.

Yelp
Anyone leaving a 1 star review on this place, clearly doesn't have a refined palate. If you were expecting an Americanized version of Italian food, where they whip out the cheese grater and crank out the cheese until you say "when", this isn't that kind of place. For the foodies out there DO NOT HESITATE to try this place! I have no doubt that each dish represents a core memory of Chef Richard during his travels through Italy, while on tour with the orchestra. With many fine wines and ingredients imported straight from Italy, and everything else made fresh in-house, each item on the menu is executed perfectly. DO NOT feel ashamed for eating two plates of garlic bread as we did. It's just that good.

Yelp
AMAZING! I picked up food yesterday night. As I stood around and waited, you got the vibe that the place is good...it was packed for Valentine's Day. Diners looked happy. I saw food quickly leave the prep station as soon as it was cooked. Got my food and jumped into my car. I actually called my son from the car to say, "we are in for a treat if the food is as good as it smells." It was sensational. It was so good that we forgot about the tiramisu we had placed in the fridge cause we kept raving about that we would most certainly order from this place again. I am writing this review cause I just finished tasting the dessert.... I practically fainted as I was overwhelmed by how delicious it was. Incredible! It probably has to do with the ingredients. The olive oil on the bread transports you to Italy.

Yelp
I Love this place. Richard Bock, a well known television Chef from New York City, now offering hand crafted Italian food at very reasonable prices. The ambience is that of an Italian bistro. SoExcellent wine list. Attentive staff. Daily menu changes. You should definitely try this place. I Love this place!

Yelp
Had a reservation for my family. when we arrived they just told us that they moved people to our table because they were seating outside and it wasn't very warm! We arrived on time, and the server told us we needed to wait 15/20 minutes to get a table. A moment later the owner came and told us that he could not assure us to have a table and told us to go elsewhere. Awful customer service. Please remember making a reservation there counts for nothing. The owner is quite pompous as well. We ended up going to the crab place down from them and it was perfect

Yelp
The best Bolognese in the world. It consists of freshly made thinker noodles. You can tell that the 4 meats and mise en place has been simmering all day. The flavor is so developed and smooth. It's not like ground beef in an overly tomatoey sauce on spaghetti noodles. Quite the opposite. I almost chose the lobster ravioli that as on special, but had come for the bolognese. The tiramisu is also phenomenal.

Yelp
I ordered the carbonara and this is what I got. Scrambled egg with nasty pasta. This place has very rude staff and the service is terrible. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

Yelp
Visited the restaurant yesterday for an early dinner. It was our first time and we really wanted to love it but...no air conditioning, the servings were small for the price, had little to no flavor. I had the Lobster Ravioli in Brown Butter, that was listed as a special. It came out cold, basically the ravioli was sitting in pool of clarified butter. My wife and son has the Lasagna and while it did come out hot, it was missing flavor. I'm sorry but it was my first Diners, Drive-in, and Dives restaurant that I won't go back to. Wish it wasn't so.
