Went to Glacier 3000 with my parents last year and it was such a fun day. The cable car ride up is long but the views just get better and better the higher you go. At the top it’s proper snowy and windy, feels really dramatic and high up in the mountains.
The best part is the Peak Walk bridge between two mountain peaks. Looks a bit scary in photos but once you’re on it, it’s solid and the views are insane, you can see all the big mountains around you on a clear day. We spent ages up there just taking pictures.
There’s also a small café/restaurant where we grabbed hot chocolates and warmed up. Prices are a bit steep but that’s pretty normal in Switzerland. Staff were friendly and everything was very organised.
It wasn’t too crowded when we went, which made it feel even more peaceful. Really cool experience overall, loads of photos, and a proper “wow” moment.
