Glacier Bay

Absolutely stunning national park on the Alaskan coast. Watch out for otters, whales, seals, puffins and bears as you sail through the quiet waters through snow-capped peaks heading towards the glaciers. Marjorie glacier is the top attraction which if you're lucky you may see calving. But everywhere you look is another amazing view. If you travel on a cruise ship national park rangers will give a narration.

If I could, I’d spend the next hour telling you how pretty this place is. It’s incredible, blue, has whales, very nice and cold, bright, perfectly preserved. Glacier bay is the most amazing place I’ve ever seen and i can’t wait to go back soon I hope. Excellent place to go so wonderful and unique.

The cruise ship slowly enters into the glacier bay, and it's a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful scenery not far from the ship. Thank God for the pure blue sky, there are not even a cloud for decoration, along the way I saw whales, posters, sea lions, and many birds. Facing the spectacular view of Margerie glaciers and Johns Hopkins glaciers, only sigh the power of nature and magical!

Two words. Bucket. List. I once thought the Grand Canyon was the most beautiful mountains. Glacier Bay proved me wrong. This was just breathtaking.

Once in a lifetime opportunity before it all disappears. Watched part of it break off into the water in a thunderous crack. a cruise ship is the easiest and most comfortable way to get up close to an amazing natural event.

Breathtaking National Park with amazing views on (melting) glaciers and incredible encounters with wild animals. Should be on your bucket list.

Great experience when exploring by a full-day boat trip organized by Glacier Bay Lodge and Tours. The Park is very remote, and unless you want to watch from a cruise ship, Glacier Bay Lodge is a great way where to start.
