Stayed here for 2 nights of our vacation in August. Great little cabin (#6) and super convenient place to start the day for whatever direction you are headed. Nothing fancy, but clean and basic. Had everything we needed. Bob was great and answered all our questions. Cabin was furnished and a nice change of pace from hotel stays. Would highly recommend it if you are doing trips to the park for its location. Thanks Bob for the stay!

Highly recommend staying here. Bob is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. There is a full grocery store almost right next door. The cabins are behind his combo restaurant and gas station on Hwy 2, just 10 miles from West Glacier entrance. We had a problem with the tv and Bob was right on it, and apologized about 3 different times. I don't normally watch tv on vacation but wanted to catch up on the olympics. This looks like a cabin on the outside, with a deck with table and chairs, but is a one bedroom house inside. We stayed in cabin 7 right behind restaurant and 40 feet from parking lot. The bedroom is as large as a hotel room with 2 comfortable queens and several chairs, and there's a futon in the living room. Kitchen and full bath are also large. Full size fridge too. My only 4 rating is on cleanliness because when we wiped up a small water spill off kitchen tiled floor, the paper towel came up a little dirty. ||Air conditioning, ceiling fan in bedroom. Good food in small resaurant, just don't be in a hurry as only 2 people working, one cooks (son?) and daughter in-law who waits tables and also cooks. Great value, location, would stay again.

We stayed for one night in a cabin at the Glacier B&B and Cabins in Hungry Horse. We were a little concerned because when we made the reservation because we did not receive any kind of confirmation. But when we arrived Bob had our reservation and there was no issue. The location is right on Highway 2 in Hungry Horse. When we arrived we didn't realize that we needed to check in at the Sinclair gas station. I was looking for some type of office. I made a quick call and they explained just to come into the gas station. We checked in an got the cabin that is closest to the road. The cabin was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. The kitchen also had a large refrigerator, stove, table & chairs. The bedroom had 2 beds, a dresser and closet. The beds were ok but should probably have the mattress replaced soon. The carpeting in the bedroom also could use an update. The living room had a chair, futon & brand new flat screen tv. ||||The location is great for a base to the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Also, since it is located right on the highway there are restaurants near by. ||||We could hear road noise all night due to the cabin we were in. If you book a cabin there, ask for one that is set back from the road. Bob, the owner, is a really nice man.

We had a room at a brand name hotel in Whitefish, which was luxurious as compared to what this cabin turned out to be. And the brand name places in Whitefish are only 15 minutes away from Hungry Horse. So, please don't be fooled by the lavish reviews here. I got burned and hopefully my experience will save you money and disappointment.||These and similar cabins in places like Hungry Horse, Columbia Falls, and others are opportunistic business lodgings along Montana highway 2, and belong to the times when much better name brand hotels had not moved into the area.||Bob, the owner of this place, is indeed a very nice person personally but his personality will not determine the value you'll get for your money. These cabins are a good value for parties of more than four who can jam 4-8 people in two rooms and then write lavish reviews here. The facts is that this property, like many similar others, is by no means remote or quiet or anything. It is separated from the very busy highway 2 by the side walk. That's how close it is to the highway. The towels looked to be washed but the bed linens are polyester and dark prints, and are so for a purpose, that you can't tell whether they are clean or dirty, or when was the last time they were cleaned. And if you are allergic to cigarette smoke and pet hair, etc. imagine that up to eight people may have been in these two rooms before you, and cursory cleaning after them.||The picture given for these cabins, of a bed with white linens, is fake. You won't find any such thing. Also, the restaurant too with glowing reviews here, is now closed.||My recommendation: stay in a name brand place at Whitefish, which may add a bit to your driving back and forth to GNP, but it will be well worth it. There aren't any name brand places yet on the East side.||I am enclosing a picture of the name brand accommodation we had in Whitefish and for fifty dollar less than the rate for this cabin. These, and similar, highway-side cabins on both sides of highway 2 are a bad joke.

We enjoyed this place so much that we stayed four nights. This place is a great throwback to plain and simple accommodations. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you need if you like a straight forward cabin. The place is very clean and the cafe next door serves breakfast and lunch items that are cooked just as you like them. Do yourself a favor and spend a few minutes with the owner, Bob. If you are in cabin 6, don't worry about street noise. All of the traffic seems to cease after nine p.m.

Bob and staff were kind, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in cabin 7 which was meticulously clean and comfortable. Having a full kitchen, living room and bathroom was so nice. Would definitely recommend and will return.

While traveling around glacier we chose to stay 1 night at Bobs cabins. We had a very nice cabin with a huge kitchen. We had all the anemities. Bob was very gracious and made us feel right at home. I would definitely stay there again and even refered others on our way to Canada to stay here.

Independent Owner- does not use electronic (or any) booking method. When the reservation was made- only took my name, dates of travel and number of people- no card, no email confirmation. And yes, it was Bob I spoke to. Yes- I am fully accountable for the risk we were willing to take- and we learned our lesson.||||Also, please note, this is no longer a bed and breakfast either- so the listing needs to be updated- however, I was aware of that when we made the reservation.||||We booked this room 3 months in advance- I called twice before our flight date and twice the day of our arrival to confirm and communicate our arrival time for late check in. About 5 hours before check in- Bob stopped answer the telephone after trying literally every 30-45min. We showed up to the location- with no obvious notes about where to go- made an educated guess which door to knock on- got Bob. Who was confused... you see-- apparently there was another Natasha there for the weekend with a party of three who already checked in and he had me for the next night. The irony is thick here. We are talking remote Montana (is Natasha a popular name I wasn't aware of?). Unfortunately for us, we had no where to go- it was 8PM at night and every single hotel, motel and camp sight was booked. We literally sat in our rental car outside Bobs cabin dialing numbers for an hour with nothing but an 'im sorry' from him and a closed door. (actually, he did tell which motels to try first)||||We ended up 1.5 hours (did you read that correctly? 1.5 hours away) north at beautiful Eureka (just 9 miles south of Canada). It was the CLOSEST place we could find and got THE LAST room. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful sunsets Ive every seen on the drive and such a cool VERY cool lodge so for that, I thank Bob||||However, our trip to Montana was to see Glacier--- thus picking Glacier Cabins-- sooooooo.....we had to drive alllll the way back the next day to enjoy the park for which our entire trip was planned around. I'm very sorry to say, we stayed at Bob's Cabin the next two nights because we literally had no other choice. We received no discount, no free meal, no bottle of anything...however, we got a few more apologies- not how I would handle things but not sure I'm surprised in today's world of failing customer service.||||My sense of 'adventure' cost me a lot of extra money in gas and alternative lodging, again, to be fair- that is what you get when you take this kind of risk. So fair warning- to readers here. There are no guarantees- you will even have a place to stay and nothing you can do to fix it or him but leave reviews here for future guests.||||Now- for the lodging- no frills, clean, spacious and great location to the park-nice to be located behind grocery and gas- and several huckleberry whatever-you-want options nearby. Its like staying at a family cabin- so do not expect any special decore, services, linens or even new cookware. For me- who was there to see the mountains and not need anything more than an upgraded campground - was just fine.||||Everyone was warm and friendly- even Bob- though he offered little in compensation for his error.

Yelp
Do NOT stay here...negative stars, if possible. Do not trust. He lies. As a party that included a young child and two elderly adults, we reserved a cabin for 2 nights at $120/night, only to be shown his notebook that he has someone else for $135/night when we showed up. It was no mistake since he repeated the reservation information to me and gave me precise directions to check-in with him at the counter of his gas station. Luckily, we found better accommodations at the Crooked Tree Motel with a heated pool and free continental breakfast as well a large lawn and play structure set away from the highway for my son. The owner of Crooked Tree Motel was exceptional and provided excellent advice.

Yelp
Spent 2 nights in one of the cabins here during a trip to Glacier National Park and enjoyed our stay. The proprietor, Bob, is a real hoot and a nice guy and the town of Hungry Horse is small and quaint. Our accommodations were nothing fancy but spacious and clean, with a full kitchen and patio with a grill. It was a convenient location for exploring west Glacier NP and I would stay there again.
