We made a reservation for 5pm and were seated promptly at 5pm. It was not until 5:20 that we were able to place our order. That felt a little slow for me. The rustic bread came out pretty quickly and was nice and warm. The jam and butter had a lot of flavor. Our meals did not come out until 6pm. I felt the service was a bit slow with how much staff they had. The food was amazing. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and my husband had the chicken sandwich. The rotisserie chicken had a flavorful skin, the mashed potatoes were creamy with a perfect touch of seasoning. The chicken sandwich was really good, but the temperature could’ve been hotter and the crunch could’ve been better. We had the bread pudding for dessert and it was a perfect finishing touch. The ice cream is definitely a plus.

Ambiance: Very cool restaurant with a nice bar Service: Good. Greeted and seated quickly. Initial service to order was slowly but was very attentive after. Food: Alright let’s get into this! This was the first place we hit upon landing in Anchorage. I was hankering for chowder so I ordered a cup of their chowder and their cornbread sounded good. Both were very good! The cornbread did not initially come with the maple butter so I had to ask. If you order this, make sure you get it because the butter was good! We also ordered the fish and chips and the wood grilled burger. Both were also very good. The fish and chips were thick and plump with a respectable layer of batter. I hate when it’s all batter when you are paying for the fish so this was great! It was also nice a crispy (but not burnt). I also hate soggy fish and chips, so again, this was great! The burger was also great! Perfect ratio of meat to veggies along with a sturdy bun! Didn’t find a soggy meal in this place!

I highly recommend this place. You better get a reservation in 30 days ahead. The food and service was amazing. Anchorage is blessed to have such great food and craft beer! That is a picture of the best shrimp and grits I have ever had!

This was our second choice when we couldn't get a table at the steakhouse. Sometimes things work out for the best, everything was on point and the food was unbelievable, I had the seafood linguine and I'll order it next time too. Key lime beer was a fun surprise also.

Always a great choice if you’re in town. Tried the house made root beer and cream soda this time around. Pretty good alternative to a beer. Had the grilled salmon. Very good but it wasn’t a thick cut. Sides were very good too. Overall though it felt like more sides and less fish. Service is attentive and friendly. Tip: Ask your server about any fresh fish. It’s the best choice to make.

I didn't know what I was missing -- the Salmon grilled over Alaskan Alderwood was the best Salmon I have ever eaten. The roasted yukon potatoes and brussels sprouts were a perfect side and somehow the scallops were even better -- I could have eaten a plateful of them for almost any price. I am a tougher reviewer than most people -- and eating here reminds me of why I think many people are too quick to give 5 stars everywhere they put a fork in their mouth (I call them culinary plebs). Their pointless reviews render a 5-star rating more or less meaningless. But when a restaurant as special as the Glacier Brewhouse comes along, which truly deserves a 5-star rating they should be set apart as such -- 5 stars all the way.

My recent visit to Glacier Brewhouse exceeded my expectations. The restaurant's decor was stylish and comfortable, and the waitstaff were friendly and helpful throughout the evening. The food was outstanding, with generous portions and creative flavor combinations that left me feeling impressed and satisfied.

Loved this place. Service was great, and the good was even better. I really like the ambiance. The place is large, but the tables are not crowded. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer. It had about 8 huge simp that were really tender. I had the aged ribeye. It was cooked perfectly but wasn't as tender as I was expecting. My daughter had the shrimp and gris. Again, it's really great shrimp with creamy cheese grits. My son had the special, which was halibut stuffed with king crab. He really enjoyed it. I had the house home-made root beer. It was good, but nothing special. My daughter had the blackberry - basil lemonade. Unique taste that was very enjoyable. We finished our meal with crème brûlée. While there was plenty of ambient noise, it wasn't loud, and I was able to hear and participate in the conversations. Great experience!

Yelp
TIP: Make a reservation. Tried to go once without it and wait was 1.5 hours. With a reservation, we were seated right away. I got the herb crusted halibut and really enjoyed it. I also appreciated the greens to balance out the heaviness of it. I got the raspberry sour and really enjoyed it. We shared the peanut butter pie and it was good but super rich. I was only able to take a couple of bites. The restaurant is pretty noisy but we were able to be sat in a quieter area. I could barely hear as I was walking through the restaurant and I imagine it would've been difficult to hear anyone hear me if we were sat in a noisy area.

Yelp
We came to Glacier Brewhouse looking for some king crab when visiting Anchorage. The inside is very spacious and cozy with rustic vibes. The open kitchen was a nice touch, and we could see the rotisserie and wood fired oven. They were pretty busy for a weekday lunchtime and service was a bit slow. Overall, this is a decent spot for lunch. What we ordered: - Spring session beer flight: This came with five of their popular brews. It was fun to try the various flavors, though none in particular stood out. - Brewer's pie: Sadly, we would have preferred domino's pizza over this. The crust was hard, dry, and undercooked. The toppings were sparse and non-inspired. - Bering Sea king crab legs: The crab was okay though it didn't taste the freshest. It was a good portion size for the hefty cost ($129). The potatoes it came with were delicious - perfectly seasoned and crispy.

Yelp
Last glimpse before leaving the city! We dined here four days in a row. Food is delicious.

Adam C.

Yelp
This is a surprisingly large restaurant. There were some decent brews on tap and you do get the to experience the Anchorage brew house feel (there are several). The food was fine - I think this is a place that may be better for the basics. My main dish was not a standout. The calamari appetizer is quite unique as the Alaska calamari are the size of small fish. Service was friendly and relatively efficient.

Tammi M.

Yelp
The food and vibe were great, the service not so much. Chatting with a patron next to me we agreed our server must have been quite new. She mixed up his beverage order twice and when I asked for pepper, she asked if I wanted fresh ground or from a shaker. Hmmm, I have a delish pasta and there is a huge grinder at your elbow, what do you think?

John P.

Yelp
We checked this out on a Tuesday evening. I called ahead and got a reservation. That worked out great because we were seated when we showed up. The Brewhouse is very popular and busy. Our waitress took our drink orders shortly after being seated. She was friendly but busy. I ordered the halibut fish and chips. It was very good. The beer we ordered was very good as you would imagine from a brewery! It is a little loud in there, but the setting is very nice. I would definitely go back again.

Joanne P.

Yelp
Service is fast we didn't make a reservation. We were seated immediately The calamari is goood! But the seafood pasta I don't know, I tasted a good seafood pasta before, this isn't it. It's lacking in taste, and the pasta wasn't combining well with the sauce. Crusted Halibut is goood, tasty, perfectly cook but so tiny . Nevertheless, the restaurant's ambiance and service were commendable, and I would be open to trying other offerings on their menu in the future.

Stacey P.

Yelp
I very much enjoyed Glacier Brewhouse - so much so we went here twice while visiting. I loved the ambiance which is heavily wood dominated with a large central fireplace and gives a very cabin-esque feel. Sitting by the fire and being very comfortable was just a lovely experience! Both times I ordered the French Dip and was surprised how different they were between the two days. The first was super delicious! The very best! The meat was perfectly cut, tender, and savory. The au jus was thick and delicious. The fries were delightful! They were crunchy on the out, soft on the in. Two days later we went again for lunch and while it still was good it wasn't as good. The meat was a bit overcooked and slightly too thin. The au jus was very watery. The fries were still delicious! The cocktails were amazing both days. I could have sat here all day and drank. Between my friend and I we tried every drink and loved them all. The bartender is dynamite! Service was great. We had the same waitress both times who was prompt and professional. It was nice.

Yelp
Stopped in here on a recent business trip to Anchorage. Had two of my teammates with me. We were immediately greeted upon entering the door, by a very friendly hostess. We were seated pretty much right away. Having come from another happy hour, I wasn't overly hungry, but my teammates apparently were. Of course we had the worlds, best calamari, which, in my opinion is the best around. I had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, and it was very good. A great combination of fresh salad, and very well prepared, shrimp, five of them. I had one of the local hazy IPAs, it was very good, so good, that had a second one. I did get talked into Desert, and had the crème brûlée. It was very good, although it was way more than what I really needed. Thanks for twisting my arm. Our server was very friendly, and very quick to provide anything we needed at our table. The atmosphere/ambience was very good. A good buzz, with many people dining in breaking bread with friends and family. Great experience, I do plan to come back.

Alex C.

Yelp
In town just for Lunch ,went right to the bar ,bartender was knowledgeable, I had the French dip ,wife had the Salmon dip ,both entrees where very satisfying There Stout beer was delicious couldn't ask any better ,when in town it's a must.

Lindsey P.

Yelp
Glacier Brewhouse always has been, and probably always will be, 5 stars for me. The service is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Making a reservation is definitely the way to go since they're always very busy. On my most recent visit they had freshly caught halibut. I decided to get the halibut fish and chips and it was amazing. A huge slab of perfectly crispy, flaky halibut with great fries, coleslaw, and the best chowder. I also had the blue cheese salad to start and it was delicious. For dessert, I got the bread pudding, which is great. I also am a huge fan of their crème brûlée and peanut butter pie. I like to go here on special occasions (mostly because I don't go downtown a ton) and it always feels special and nostalgic.

Karlee B.

Yelp
Was able to grab a seat at the bar during dinner. Definitely make reservations if you can (would have been a 20-30 min wait for a table). The bartenders were busy but attentive and gave good recommendations. Food was flavorful and came out without too long of a wait. The beers were good and would grab them again.

Yelp
TL:DR - In late Sept, open seating area was pretty empty, but no availability for normal table. Crab was bit steep at $130 (just go get costco crab), but food was good overall and service was super nice. Parking is available in a small lot on the side, but you have to pay via an app and it was $$$. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Came here after a long hike and the food just hit GOOOOD. As with most of the brewhouses in the city, it seems like they all have two seating sections. One where you need to reserve pretty far in advance or a open seating section at the bar. We came in late September, which apparently is the start of the winter season and less people, so we were able to get a table here almost immediately. Service in the bar area was a bit slow, but the server was super nice and friendly. One of the people in our group wasn't feeling super well, and the server was very kind about it. A friend and I split the crab legs, and she had them prep it on two separate plates for us. So we each got half a bunch of crab legs, some broccolini, and our own portion of potatoes. I'm not sure if they gave us half a portion of the sides or if that was the normal portion, but it was more than enough food. The crab is crab, fresh and large. Potatoes were great for mashed potatoes, and the broccolini was the surprise of the night. It was smoked broccolini which caught me off guard, but it was DELICIOUS. Still a bit tough, but flavor was on point. It was about $130, so if you have a kitchen, just get costco crab, it's the same and much cheaper. Outside of that, parking was kind of crummy. There is a small lot with metered parking that you can ONLY pay using an app, and for about 1.5 hrs it ran $6+. So the trip will All in all, nothing to complain about, and had a great time in overall.

Yelp
Solid pub food. The BrewHouse has a varied menu with something for everyone. I ordered their Fish and Chips and an imperial blonde ale to wash it down. The side of seafood chowder was my favorite part of the meal, that and the fries. I probably wouldn't repeat their fish and chips - over breaded and slightly soggy- but would return for a full bowl of their chowder!

Jed H.

Yelp
Atmosphere rocks, server was on point, food was amazing! I recommend the Anniversary Ale also.

beth c.

Yelp
Love this place! The place is vibrant and you must try their seafood chowder, so delicious!

Janine S.

Yelp
We arrived in Anchorage after a day flying and extremely hungry! We knew Glacier was on the top of our list. We sat at the bar , the restaurant was full at 5:30 and still going strong when we left. The beer was cold and both light and full bodied depending on your taste they have a wide range beer menu! The bartender was outstanding and attentive despite the drinks she was putting out to the wait staff. She recommended the stuffed halibut with crab meat with spinach and creamy mashed potatoes. It was so outstanding I just finished it for breakfast!! My husband is a burger man and said it was delicious! We started with pretzels and beer cheese and the crusty bread with butter and fig spread! If we were staying in Anchorage longer we would go again!!

Sarah E.

Yelp
Spent a night in downtown Anchorage and honestly this was one of the few places open in the evening for dinner. I had to sit at the bar because they said all of the restaurant seating was full (it definitely wasn't but perhaps they were short staffed?). It seemed to be a combination of locals and tourists. The bar staff was somewhat frazzled and not particularly interested in helping those of us sitting in the bar area (quite a few). The waiter who kept coming to pick up drinks had a strong bod odor smell and frankly made eating difficult. I can't imagine what his tables thought. Very little for the vegetarian crowd other than dries and dessert (yes, I understand Alaska isn't known for being a vegetarian haven) but it would have been nice to have something that could work. The Amber Ale was nice and the location was convenient.

Nicole Y.

Yelp
During my adventures in Downtown Anchorage, I stopped in for a late lunch. Tip: the wait for a table can be long, but there is open seating in the bar area. The restaurant & brewery is rather large and upon entering the kitchen, you have a view of the kitchen. The restaurant is a bit loud, especially if you are seated by the kitchen. For my visit, I happily enjoyed - Summer harvest beer flight- it was hard to decide which one was my favorite! Beers are great here! Seafood chowder and calamari - chowder was tasty as well as the calamari. Great place to stop in if you're in the area!

Katrina P.

Yelp
Stopped in for a flight and a quick bite during my last trip to anchorage and what a great experience it turned out to be! The service was excellent, bartenders were super warm and welcoming and the Alaskan Salmon dip was absolutely amazing. I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone in town. You won't be disappointed

Aurie C.

Yelp
Our first time in Anchorage and our first stop after arriving.....we could not have made a better choice. The halibut stuffed with crab over creamy mashed potatoes was fresh and delicious. My seafood pasta was quite literally on my top 10 of all time....I am still dreaming about it. The drinks the ambiance were spot on. We absolutely love the salmon spread also. Great experience and great food! We will be back!

Liz J.

Yelp
Calamari was the best we had in AK! Chowder was a little too salty for me so I had to ask for crackers to lessen the saltiness. The fish and chips were good and also the halibut husband got was very tasty. Place was also nice. Service was fast and servers are very attentive and checked on us couple of times .You should try this place in downtown Anchorage!

T.L. T.

Yelp
The restaurant was pretty empty, but we had to wait awhile to not overwhelm the kitchen. Apparently there was a takeout order in place. The kitchen and the food they produced was horrible. There's a thing called timing the orders. They've apparently never heard of this concept. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese, two chowders, a salad and fish tacos. I could see something under the heat lamp for 20 of the 30 minutes we waited. That was the fish taco order. Cold, soggy, pretty disgusting. They did nothing about it. The chowder and pretzels are standard, thankfully they couldn't screw that up. I thought the calamari at bear paw was bad, but these were like leather. Asked for no jalapeno, got jalapeno. They are lying when they say their calamari is the best;) At least we know to avoid this place like the plague. I couldn't tell if the cook had a butt or a pick hanging out at f his mouth btw.

Gabriela P.

Yelp
Service outstanding considering we didn't have reservations... they where very welcoming:) Specially at the bar.

Liz F.

Yelp
Wow, this is one of those places you find while on vacation that you are so glad you found. The service was on point and the food was spectacular. Steaks were cooked perfectly to order. The sides were amazing as well -- I had grilled vegetables and they were so good. The prices are not cheap, but this is an experience. It would be a great place to take a date. If you have time you can ask for a tour of the brewery that is visible from the clear partition in the restaurant. We were pushed for time and didn't have a chance to tour the brewery. The kitchen is open and you can see the food as it's cooked and when it comes on the pass.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Came for lunch on a Friday and the place was super packed (45 min wait time). However, we were told the bar was open seating and there were a few tables open so we were seated right away. It is a large bar area that includes tables. Definitely check that out if there is a wait. Initial service was slow, but our waiter was busting his butt running around and provided exceptional service! He was quick to get us anything we needed and went above and beyond bringing drink refills when half a drink was left, bringing a to go cup full of soda before we left, bringing alcohol wipes when he saw my husband trying to clean his phone camera, etc. Food was decent. Large filet of halibut for fish and chips. Fish was delicious, but the batter fry was a bit greasy. Calamari came in long strips and was very greasy. Pizza crust was soft and flimsy. My husband said it wasn't great. This place was average to me, but got an extra star due to the great service we had.

Justin F.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go here so long! I finally came for drinks only this time and it was great to see the expanded beer menu! I got the double haze IPA and it was really good! I definitely want got come back here for the food! I was with friends and their dishes looked amazing!

Mahak Jain J.

Yelp
So vibrant place it is and it's huge from inside with lot of seating but yes it have wait time so plan well in advance. We took smoked salmon , fish and chips , seafood chowder and they were great . Service will say it is little slow considering the crowd they have. But defiantly a must try if you are a seafood lover.

Joseph W.

Yelp
Way more upscale than I expected in a brew house, but very good food. The appetizer selection is amazing!

Manda S.

Yelp
Great customer service, fresh fish, cooked very well, decent beer. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Cute little place to catch up with friends. Didn't try the food but if you don't know what to get beer wise, get a flight and try different tastes! Service was quick and friendly.

Jade M.

Yelp
Yum! I had a great lunch here at Glacier's BrewHouse. I was walking around downtown Anchorage and I was lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant. I was seated immediately and had the most amazing waiter. He was kind, and I appreciated how attentive he was; always making sure to check in on me. I started off with the clam chowder and it was spectacular. I don't think I've ever had clam chowder before so I wasn't sure on what to expect. I can confidently say my expectations were surpassed. Then I ordered the fish and chips for my entree. It was pretty good as well. For my fish I ordered halibut, but I think I would have preferred the cod fish. My meal was still spectacular and the portions were nice and big. I was very full by the time I finished my meal. I wish I had room for dessert but I was so full I couldn't imagine taking another bite! I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! Can't go wrong.

Ryan S.

Yelp
We had dinner here on 07/03/2023 arriving at about 7:20PM. The quoted wait time was 1 hour and 30 minutes, which is a long time; however, there really are not enough restaurants downtown, particularly when the city is filled with tourists. The actual wait for our party of two was about 1 hour and 5 minutes. Our server Bianca was very nice throughout our visit and the restaurant quality was pretty good. Prices are a bit on the high side; however, I suppose rather comparable for the area. We shared two entrees, which included the Cod Fish N chips, which came with some delicious crispy fries, some apple slaw and three nice size pieces of fish. We also shared the Brewer's Pizza, which is a thin cruise and cooked wonderfully. For dessert, we shared the Bread Pudding, which was also very good. I only wish they gave free refills on the house made cream soda, which was rather disappointing. It was delicious; however, at least allow one refill.

Sav B.

Yelp
Food is always good here. I ordered the vegan pasta but added chicken (non dairy) and rib eye.

Taj M.

Yelp
This place is BUSY. But if you are in Anchorage and want exceptional craft beer with vast selection. along with fresh local fish the Brewhouse is a Good place to go. Their on-site brewed beers cater to every taste preference. The quality and variety of their craft beers are truly impressive. I tried this nitro brew aged in whiskey casks. It was exquisite. The price was very reasonable. $7.50. I can compare this to the docs bar near but who charged me $7, to a standard basic local brew. My regret is not staying longer to try more beers or flights. Brewhouse uses locally sourced ingredients, including the freshest seafood. (Mostly Alaskan or pacific origin.). The ambiance at the Brewhouse is crowded and and busy but this is rather "cozy" as I people watched as I dined alone. The staff members are knowledgeable and skilled but hard to communicate due to the noise. Brewhouse provided me an outstanding dining experience both beer and seafood enthusiasts were memorable and best meal I had this trip. They also sell stickers and tshirts for souvenirs. My wife and I collect Stickers. 3 for $5. Not cheap. But uniquely unique!

Michelle A.

Yelp
We ate here last Wednesday. My last night in beautiful Alaska. My aunt ordered smoked salmon appetizer, and I had Halibut for my third time in Alaska on an Asian salad. This time, it was grilled. The food was good. Service was good, kinda noisy. Street parking that was metered until 6 pm.

Kelly D.

Yelp
The hubz took me out for V-Day to Glacier Brew. I'm not the one to be impressed by V-Day dinner because you should be taking me out often for love dates - but it was an awesome time! ANYWAYS.... It was a surprise at how good their food was. I've eaten here multiple times and was never really impressed by their food OR service but this time I was severely impressed with their food and service! We started with the app trio tower. It had salmon dip, fried calamari and a seafood chicken dish. The smoked salmon dip was put together weird but showed off the salmon dip super well && was good! The calamari was tender and the seafood chicken mix was melt in your mouth. Seafood chowder - always great! The steak was good - I think I enjoyed the sauce and crispy onions more than anything but I'm picky when it comes to steak - but it was cooked perfectly! Overall I was very pleased with the meal and the service was amazing.

Thai S.

Yelp
The salmon dip is amazing, love it. Garlic prawn are good, shrimp was fresh. Entry halibut taste good, whole meal was great. Of course, their beer are good too. I did Pilsner and oatmeal Stout both good

Valerie S.

Yelp
Tracked this place just to enjoy some King Crab while visiting! Glad we stopped in for a late lunch because we were immediately seated and had a great waitress who was equal parts friendly and knowledgeable! She was so very nice to teach us about why Alaska put a hold on fishing for crab over last two years and how they are caught. Now the price of them makes all the sense. Everything we ordered was very delicious! I would definitely return.

Brede E.

Yelp
Overall, we had a good dinner at the restaurant. However, the Rustic Spent Grain Bread appetizer was missing in action and arrived with the main course. The mixed grill was excellent and highly recommended. The New Year's Prime Rib special was not up to the mark, as it was overcooked and the lobster was dry and small. We alerted our server about the warm Crème brûlée, and they happily traded it out. The server also deducted the cost of the dessert from our bill, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the service didn't meet our expectations. We had reserved a table via the OpenTable app, and the restaurant provided us with a table promptly. The ambiance was good, with a medium level of noise from people chattering. I hope this helps!

Wendy F.

Yelp
We had the smoked salmon BLT salad and the chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken sandwich normally comes fries but the waitress offered it as grilled. Both meals were very tasty. The salad had just the right amount of salmon which had a hint of sweetness and and nice amount of smokiness. The grilled chicken sandwich came with bacon and slaw and a brioche bun. The meats are cooked on the wood fire grill and were juicy and smoky. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. The place is very nice on the inside with lots of wood and a huge fireplace.

Paul M.

Yelp
Love this place! Eat here almost everyday when I come to Anchorage. Service is fast and friendly, the inside is unique and fun with a great atmosphere, and the food is the best in town! Today I enjoyed the BBQ baby back ribs cooked on the wood fire grill. It comes with a slightly spicy sauce that I love. The dish comes with the perfect sides! Jalapeño cornbread cooked in a tiny cast iron skillet is a must try and the slaw cools everything down for you! Absolutely love it. Give it a try and see why I call this dish the "HOLY TRINITY!!!"

Jasmine I.

Yelp
We can always depend on Glacier Brewhouse! Ask for Mallory. She'll be welcoming and efficient. You'll never have to wait long. She is on it. Their jalapeño cornbread is divine. I've ordered the Brewhouse shrimp and grits my last few visits. It's incredible. I've tried Simon and Seaforts version, and it just doesn't compare. I look forward to visiting more often.

I B.

Yelp
Arrived at Glacier Brewhouse shortly after 7:00pm and after our bus ride from Denali National Park. Our welcoming host informed us it would be 1.5 hour wait or first come first serve at the bar and tables in the bar area. We were served immediately at a bar table. The vibe was fresh and clubby at the same time and people were enjoying the not too loud older rock tunes. Our waiter, Jure, was efficient, beyond accommodating and informative. We loved our meal consisting of the Flagship Beer Flight, the Rustic Spent Grain Bread, the Summer Harvest Salad and the Alaska Alder Grilled Salmon. You will certainly enjoy this brewhouse.

Patricia H.

Yelp
What a night. My daughter took us here last night to celebrate my twin and my 50th birthday. She reserved the conference room, it was perfect. Our server was AMAZING! She was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. The food was amazing. They substituted the salmon off of my plate for cod. I will say the code needed major seasoning, like it was just grilled and that's it. A little lemon and S&P and it did the job. I dipped it in the pesto on the side. That pesto is amazing with the seafood. The Jambalaya pasta was amazing as always, and don't forget the rib eyes. A few of us got them, this is the only place that we get a really good variety of vegetables. We all had Brussel sprouts but some got potatoes. When it was time for cake, our server bought over a lighter, knife, plates and boxes. We had an amazing night. Thank you again hopefully we will be back soon.

Yelp
A cozy restaurant and brewery serving up delicious seafood -- one of my favorite spots in Anchorage! The inside of the restaurant almost felt like a little cabin, and we stopped by for an early lunch and the restaurant got busier as time went on (which I'm taking as a great sign, considering we didn't come during peak tourist season)! The servers were friendly and the food came out decently quickly, which I appreciated. The seafood entrees here were SO. GOOD. The Herb Crusted Halibut was DELICIOUS and the sauce was really yummy as well. I like that they paid attention to both the seafood itself and the sauces! The Alaskan Salmon was also really good and the fish was so flaky. Next time I'm in Anchorage, I'm stopping by for the seafood and will definitely try the beer!

Yelp
Most incredible calamari I've ever had in my life. 10/10. We got steak and fish for dinner and cried because we were too full to finish it. It was divine. The service was lovely. We sat at the bar and chatted with a few locals and then tourists. Not to mention the interior decor was stunning. I will find my way back here anytime I'm in Anchorage.

Yelp
Service was great, drinks were great. My husband liked the pizza. It was a super thin crust. The pretzels did not seem like pretzels. It felt like they were sourdough with butter and pretzel salt. But the fondue dip was good. My tacos were yummy and they had a little kick to them. We would come back here for sure.

Yelp
My husband wanted Alaskan king crab and Glacier BrewHouse was in walking distance of our hotel. As with the last time I was here, it was packed and we found a place to sit in the bar. We weren't in Jackie's section, but she grabbed our table and didn't let go. She was fantastic! My husband ate all of his crab and loved every bite. The side of veggies was pretty darn yummy too. And don't forget the pretzel appetizer. They are amazing!
