Dr. Malena is THE best chiropractor that has ever treated me. Prior to being a patient, I had extreme chronic pain in my lower back and had been struggling with sharp pain in my shoulder. It had been less than 6 weeks and I’m shocked by the results! She is helping me to not just remove the pain, but also helping me to strengthen the areas to prevent future pain. She is kind, professional, and committed to helping people. I cannot recommend her enough- even my husband is a patient now!

Dr. Mal’s expert care relieved my pain and accelerated my healing from two different back injuries. If ‘chiropractic’ summons up neck twisting and bone cracking for you, think again: her techniques are never harsh or risky and she is especially helpful with soft tissue and muscle massage. I can’t recommend her highly enough if you’re in pain and need immediate relief.

I've been to dozens of chiropractors over the years and have never seen lasting results so quickly as I have with Dr. Malena Nguyen. She's different than other chiropractors in that she really took the time to understand what was up with my body. From there, she combined several modalities. I think it was the combo that did the trick for me. At the beginning of each visit, she had me do certain stretching or traction type exercises before working on me. Then, she did "soft tissue work". Lastly, she had me move as she was making the adjustments. The results -- in my case at least -- were simply amazing! I recovered from an auto accident injury more quickly than I would have expected. I'm so pleased.

THE BEST!!! I’d give more stars if possible—Where l to even start how fabulous Dr. Malena and her staff are? First, the front desk staff are all wonderful in unique ways, but no matter the individual personality, the care for patients they offer is warm and authentic. They make scheduling much smoother than most any provider my family sees in Seattle, and the atmosphere they create makes me so glad to be at their office. Dr. Malena is hands down the best chiropractor I’ve seen in years, and due to advanced arthritis at a young age, I’ve seen many. I appreciate so many aspects of Dr. Malena’s care. She is thorough, never makes me feel rushed, and is amazing at explaining what she’s doing. Further, and so importantly, Dr. Malena listens to me, she takes the time to really hear me, and she offers very effective home care strategies. Finally, I trusted her enough to take my child here as well after I had seen her only twice. She is wonderful with my 14 yo as well as with me, so we can make appointment for the family instead of needing to go to different providers for the care we need. My child is transgender, I’m gay, and at this clinic, we have found not just acceptance, but appreciation for our family in every way. Dr Malena is wonderful and has helped improve my quality of life. I submitted a late night "request for consultation" after waking up around 3 AM unable to sit up in bed. The next morning I had a response and an appointment. The consultation helpful and Dr Malena as probing questions that helped narrow down my issue. After determining my issue, she described many things I could do to improve my situation. The adjustments I receive are coupled with discussion of exercises I can do and things to consider during my work day. Dr Malena is very respectful of space during each appointment and she is a true professional of chiropractic medicine. I highly recommend her practice and look forward to continuing recovery with her.

Dr. Malena is a miracle worker. I herniated a disc in my neck, causing intense pain and muscle spasms. I wasn’t able to lift anything with my right hand for 3 weeks. Nothing was helping until I started seeing Dr. Malena. I saw RAPID results. She patiently listened to my WHOLE story (something I cannot say about the ER doctor), and throughout my treatment was very careful to listen to what did/didn’t work for me as we troubleshooted some referential nerve pain. This was exactly the kind of care I needed. She used soft-tissue work for the first several sessions to help relieve the muscle spasms and gradually worked to being able to adjust (but always with the soft tissue work). She is gentle but effective. Unbelievably restorative. Seriously cannot recommend her highly enough.

I started coming here after a serious motor vehicle accident on 5/30. For a long time before the accident I did not have a lot of trust for chiros, however Dr. Malena’s patient first and holistic approach to healing has done wonders. She doesn’t push for unnecessary visits like other chiros and does more than just crack your back, she uses evidence based treatments to truly provide relief. I am so happy to have started treatment here.

Dr. Malena is the best chiropractor I've ever seen. I'm a massage therapist and have a 14 year old lumbar spinal fusion, I have had plenty of different types of therapy over the years. In just three sessions, my back and hips are back to a point of health that I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this good and flexible. One of the best things about Dr. Malena is she works the soft tissue as well, not just corrective adjustments. Lanie at the front desk is great as well.
