Absolutely delicious ice cream! Honey lavender especially! We came back there three times during our trip:) And they also give you ( if you want ) a little tasting scoop on top of your order. I recommend! We tried mango, vanilla, honey lavender, strawberry, coffee, lemon and pineapple and all were yummy!

Glacier des Alpes stands as a cherished gem in Annecy’s culinary landscape, delighting both locals and visitors with its artisanal ice creams and sorbets. Situated at 16 Rue Perrière in the heart of the old town, this family-run establishment has been crafting frozen delights for over 30 years . Renowned for its extensive selection, Glacier des Alpes offers a myriad of flavors that cater to diverse palates. Patrons frequently praise unique options like lavender and honey, violet, and rhubarb, alongside classics such as pistachio, salted caramel, and cookies . The generous portions and the occasional complimentary mini scoop add to the delightful experience .

Amazing ice-cream!!!!! wow, the texture, and the flavor - everything was perfect! We were pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to get an extra little scoop of another flavor for free. We chose honey lavender and it was off-the-charts delicious, especially in combination with salted caramel. All the other flavors we tried were so good!! There are 2 windows you can order from, and if there is a line, it goes fast!

I stopped by during my visit to Annecy and absolutely loved it. I tried the pretzel, cookies’n’cream, and salted caramel flavors – all were super creamy, rich, and delicious! You can really taste the quality. The staff were really nice, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re in Annecy and love gelato, don’t miss this place. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
It was recommended by a local friend. There was a lot of gelato, and it was really delicious. My husband’s icecream was tastier than mine. I remember enjoying chocolate, cookies, and vanilla flavors more than fruity ones.😆

Google
Great ice cream! And shoutout to the guy in the photo — awesome service. Thank you!

Google
Glad I didn't miss this ice cream store on my way out of Annecy, as their chocolate cookie and vanilla was awesome! 😋🍦👏

Google
This is the best shop for gelato!! The extra small scoop on top seals the deal!!!

Yelp
Was very let down by this ice cream. The most underwhelming experience compared to the other ice creams / desserts I've had in France over the past few days. The ice cream was very creamy but the flavors didn't really come through. It was good enough for ice cream, but nothing to rave about. Could have easily passed for a different dessert. The only nice thing is they give you a free mini extra scoop.

Yelp
Believe the hype! It's worth the wait, even on sweltering hot days and nights. First, they have an abundance of flavors. Second, the service is helpful and friendly (as we barely know any French). Third, the line does move, but not as fast as you'd like ;) Fourth, they give you a little teeny, tiny scoop of any flavor on your order. That is a wonderful treat, especially if you can't decide. the salted caramel ... do good. you can taste the butter! the ricotta and fig, also really, really good. Such an amazing combination the black cherry and cream .... another can't miss. mint chip - super minty, clean and refreshing. Winner! you can also ask for chantilly (whip cream) on top (even on a cone) and it's worth every sinful, delicious bite. Go back multiple times if you can to try all the flavors! Pics coming!

Yelp
This is the best in Annecy; line is usually long but it worth it. Try the cookie ice creams; also the violet is sooo unique. It is also reasonably priced ( 3 scoops for 5.20 )

Yelp
LOVE this place! Happened to walk by here after a dinner on the canal and saw a bit of a line which was a sign of a good spot! It's on a cute medieval block right next to a picturesque stone archway. There were so many flavors to choose from, I was overwhelmed. Then the best surprise happened - when you order your flavor they let you choose one additional flavor to get a baby scoop of on top of your ice cream! Highly recommend trying as many flavors as you can fit in to your trip to Annecy!

Yelp
It's a little pricy, but that seriously is something you shouldn't care about 'cause this ice cream is really delicious, too! They have interesting flavors, the prettiest floor tiles ánd it's close to the lake, so you can easily walk there while enjoying your ice cream.

Yelp
Was in the area looking for some ice cream and and saw the Yelp reviews for this place so we figured why not. Very reasonable price for 4 scoops (5) considering the area. Ice cream was a little melted but the flavors were good and the large waffle cone was a plus.

Yelp
When here with my fiancé and had the best gelato I've ever had. Also a really romantic spot that has a rich history. We had the mint and chocolate chip. It was amazing! They also gave us free scoops! It was also handy the staff spoke English.

Yelp
These glaces are the best glaces that I've had in the region. They compete easily with the best that I've had in Italy. They are better than the more prominent place around the corner that used to be my favorite up until today.

Yelp
I would say the best ice cream in Annecy, but!! Other places have good ice cream too and different tastes sometimes so it's good to try the others as well. Be prepared to wait for this one cause there is always a really long queue for this one but it's definitely worth it.

Yelp
For the ultimate ice-cream experience here is where to come. There are a multitude of flavours on offer here from your traditional melon, strawberry and lemon which merge with lavender, violet and kiwi. And a bonus free taster is offered With every ice cream (Grand Marnier is a joy for the senses)

Yelp
Absolutely sublime, with several unique, subtle and delicious homemade flavors. And a fun, warm staff. There's generally a long line out front so prepare to wait a bit. Also, for those travelers saving up their paper euros, they do take credit cards even for small amounts. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This is THE ONLY place to get ice cream in Annecy, in our humble opinion. The flavors are heavenly and the staff is wonderful. Do not be scared off by the line! It will be worth the wait. And, if you're undecided about which flavors to choose, try Cookies (crispy chocolate cookies in a creamy vanilla base) or Fraise (fresh strawberry).

Yelp
Wasn't the biggest fan of this ice cream experience! Compared to the other shops, it was quite expensive and had a huge cue. The ice cream also had chunks of ice in it, and the flavors didn't really come through. It was good enough for ice cream, but nothing too special.

Yelp
Just do it. The best in all of Annecy. The lines are pretty gnarly at times so expect to wait around but hey, its Europe its what they do. They gave me a little sample scoop on top of my order which was awesome. The workers are very helpful and willing to take their time to sample flavors for you. You won't die if you don't go but its one of those charming places you should visit if you're in the area.

Yelp
best dark chocolate sorbet ever. this place has been around for +40 years and it shows by the long line outside of it. there is a reason for that line. it is worth the wait!
