This was the final stop during our two week adventure to Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier in mid October during COVID. We spent 5 nights at Glacier Guides Lodge and it was by far our favorite! The people at the lodge were friendly and helpful with local places of interest.
The location couldn't have been better. About a 3-5 mins drive to Glacier National Park. The rooms were spacious and clean with a semi-private outdoor seating area, all very charming. We were by no means roughing it in Teton and Yellowstone prior but I mostly appreciated the warm down comforters, a shower with good water pressure and the hot breakfast sandwiches. The only negatives I would report, which was not the end of the world, was the weak coffee and non existent wifi/cell service.
The coffee was pretty much just hot water so we added 1/2 packet of Starbucks instant coffee to each cup to give it some body but it was still nice to have something warm to drink in the cold mornings. The wifi was pretty non existent most of time. Although it's not a fair comparison, to put it in perspective, my home wifi speed hovers around 200 Mbp. Their's was anywhere between 0.58 and 0.89 Mbps, especially during the evenings as more guests would return to the lodge. This was frustrating when trying to plan the next day's activities, look up directions, distances, weather forecast etc. We had to be mindful to look everything up before heading back. We found and dubbed a location in the park, "wifi hill" (I know it wasn't wifi) because it was the closest place where we were able to get 3 bars of cellular service.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again on my next trip back to Glacier.
