We had a very nice 3 night stay. Check in and check out was easy. Breakfast had a lot of options and completely self-serve. Minutes from the West Glacier entrance and vehicle reservation check point. The staff is very friendly. The area is just lovely. I think there are only 12 rooms for rent. Parking was always available. It's very much off the beaten path, tucked away in the trees. We'd stay here again. Office has bear spray available to borrow. We paid $50 at Walmart. I like how the upstairs room had outside seating, and the entryway had a bench to remove muddy boots before entering. The hooks by the door were also helpful for backpacks and many jackets. In the dining area, there is always water and a microwave. Our room had a mini fridge.

I absolutely loved my stay at Glacier Guides Lodge. I booked two nights before my backpacking trip and then one night afterwards. Tucked away just a short walk from the West Glacier entrance, the location strikes the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and easy access to the park, restaurants, and the train station.|The lodge is warm, cozy, and exceptionally clean. My room was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and I really appreciated the little touches like the adorable bear towels, a mini fridge, and a quiet porch area to unwind after hiking. |Breakfast was a highlight (vegetable burritos) delicious, fresh, and filling. I especially appreciated the early morning breakfast options for those heading out before sunrise. If you have activities planned with Glacier Guides, a shuttle will pick you up promptly and transport you to their office. Belton Chalet dining room and Glacier highland are within short walking distances away from the lodge for delicious post hike cocktails and scrumptious dinner.|What really made this place special, though, was the hospitality. Every staff member I interacted with was genuinely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. You can tell they care deeply about both the lodge and the park experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier Guides Lodge. It's in a prime location, across the street from the park entrance in West Glacier. It's nestled in the woods and is very quiet and serene. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and all amenities were provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, coffee machine). The breakfast was good and plentiful. I'm now a big fan of huckleberry jelly!

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again! The breakfast was delicious (seriously who knew breakfast burritos would be the highlight of our trip). Friendly staff and our room was perfect. It's close to the park and their rental equipment. We liked that it was close but not in the heart of the busy parts. Rooms are cozy and private! They have ice machines - perfect to fill up our camelback. They also give you bear spray to borrow. We would stay here again!!

Glacier Guides Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Glacier National Park. It's one of the only places in the area that has TV and air conditioning. The rooms were quiet and clean. The bath was nice and the beds were comfortable. There's a nice continental breakfast featuring homemade breakfast burritos. Just outside the west entrance to the park, Glacier Guides is the perfect jumping off point for all of your activities.

We stayed at Glacier Guides Lodge for one night of a 10-day road trip and it was one of our two favorite accommodations from the trip. The rooms were wonderful, clean and had super-comfortable beds (and I saw deer wandering in the woods outside my window in the morning). Staff members at both check-in and breakfast (which had a nice amount of options) were super-nice and helpful, and the rooms also included information about local resources (restaurants, stores, etc.). The location is also hard to beat if you're visiting Glacier National Park, as it's less than 5 minutes from the west gate.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier Guides lodge! It was tucked away from the main West Glacier entrance, but close enough to walk down and grab some dinner and ice cream. The room was very clean and a decent size, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was very good and convenient! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Google
Glacier guides lodge was the perfect place to stay near the West glacier national Park entrance. We took the train and walked less than 5 minutes to the lodge. The lodge manager was super kind and let us do a late check in and a super late check out to accommodate our train schedules. Breakfast in the morning was delicious plus access to coffee, tea, and snacks throughout the day. The room was very cozy and comfortable after a long day hiking and biking. We also booked a bike shuttle through their company to bike going to the sun road and they were very accommodating to let us switch days so we didn't get caught in the rain. Overall would highly recommend this place!!!

Yelp
This was a great place to stay! It's very close to the park entrance. The rooms are large and comfortable. They have really nice public spaces as well. I like that they have tasty coffee in the lobby and they provide a decent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
So happy we got to stay here 2 nights this week. We arrived via Amtrak, didn't have a car, had no way to get to our original booking at Lake McDonald lodge. This is just a short walk from the train station. The room was v spacious, super comfortable, has a large bathtub with very hot water- perfect after a day of biking and white water rafting. And the breakfast changes daily and super delicious! They also provide trail bars, fruits , yogurt and assortment of cakes, breads, cereals and even almond milk. Amanda makes the perfect well-timed hard-boiled eggs! She also went the extra miles to help us in our trip. We were so comfortable I didn't want to leave! If you're lucky enough to get a vacancy, stay here!

Yelp
We had a pleasant experience with this lodge. It's located right outside of the west glacier entrance. It was slightly off the road, so the passing train wasn't an issue. The wall is thin though. We could hear the next door couple talking and laughing. The room is big enough for two. There was a small fridge in the room. The shower has hot running water. The room was clean. When Amanda was on duty, she made hot egg sandwiches on different breads every day for the guests. There were plentiful other items for breakfast. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This was the final stop during our two week adventure to Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier in mid October during COVID. We spent 5 nights at Glacier Guides Lodge and it was by far our favorite! The people at the lodge were friendly and helpful with local places of interest. The location couldn't have been better. About a 3-5 mins drive to Glacier National Park. The rooms were spacious and clean with a semi-private outdoor seating area, all very charming. We were by no means roughing it in Teton and Yellowstone prior but I mostly appreciated the warm down comforters, a shower with good water pressure and the hot breakfast sandwiches. The only negatives I would report, which was not the end of the world, was the weak coffee and non existent wifi/cell service. The coffee was pretty much just hot water so we added 1/2 packet of Starbucks instant coffee to each cup to give it some body but it was still nice to have something warm to drink in the cold mornings. The wifi was pretty non existent most of time. Although it's not a fair comparison, to put it in perspective, my home wifi speed hovers around 200 Mbp. Their's was anywhere between 0.58 and 0.89 Mbps, especially during the evenings as more guests would return to the lodge. This was frustrating when trying to plan the next day's activities, look up directions, distances, weather forecast etc. We had to be mindful to look everything up before heading back. We found and dubbed a location in the park, "wifi hill" (I know it wasn't wifi) because it was the closest place where we were able to get 3 bars of cellular service. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again on my next trip back to Glacier.

Yelp
For starters, Amanda is the coolest! Thanks for being such an attentive front desk attendant/all around grounds keeper(?); you certainly made the stay more comfortable for us. Also, thanks to Judith (and Amanda) for refunding our $ for a night when we accidentally showed up one day later than we paid for. This is definitely above and beyond what you would expect from your standard lodging establishment. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This spot is great - very pleasantly surprised on how charming and clean the room was. The staff is super friendly! A great vibe and right across from the west entrance to the park.

Yelp
Di and I spent hours researching places to stay. Look no further this is the right place! Jennifer and Don are awesome. They run this place and balance service and fun. Check in was easy. The reception for guests is an awesome time to get advice on the park hikes et al. We are doing the raft trip in am and they are accommodating us for late check out. It is Eco friendly and new. We like new and it does not lose any ambiance. People make the business. The team here is great. Friendly kind and all smiles. Steve

Yelp
PERFECTION! I'll be honest; I wasn't in Glacier to rough it. I don't mind getting dirty in the outdoors during the day, but at night I like to retreat to a nice place with a comfy bed. Most of the options I looked at in the area were campgrounds, B&Bs, or dated motels with pink floral prints emblazoned on every conceivable surface. Enter Glacier Guides Lodge. The place is well-maintained and looks like it was just built. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, there's free wifi, satellite TV, and a complimentary continental breakfast perfect for fueling up before a day of hiking. Best of all, the service is fantastic. Josh and Buck helped me plan my journey through the park and gave me great recommendations. I'll definitely stay here again.

Yelp
In Apgar, and really, really nice view of Lake McDonald! Nice option along with Lake Donald Lodge!

Yelp
We stayed here for 1 night this past summer as out launch point for backpacking in Glacier National Park. It is right outside of the west entrance of the park. We arrived late around 9pm and Josh was up ready to check us in and help plan our trip. He got on the computer and spent an hour or two going over all possibilities. He also let us borrow bear spray for our whole 2 week stay. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. It has a modern cozy cabin decor and feel. I highly recommend the Glacier Guides Lodge for any one going to Glacier NP! Ask Josh for restaurant recommendations! We had our best meal/breakfast in Whitefish, Eggs Benedict and stuffed french toast. I didn't expect to find a place so good, better than a lot of fancy places I've been to in fancy cities. I can't remember the name of the restaurant. Ask Josh!

Yelp
My friend and I stayed here 2 nights. The service was excellent, the room was very nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful. A great time!

Yelp
Couldn't get any closer to the entrance to the Glacier National Park. Very nice lodge with friendly staff. The building is newer and well kept. The staff share tips and answer questions while you enjoy your breakfast. The breakfast every morning isn't your usual continental with dry bagels and juice. They use local jams, fresh fruit, organic cereals, fresh baked cookies. A+ experience.

Yelp
So much more than expected for the price! Immaculate room, lovely building and staff. Super close to the Park and very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I am in love with this lodge. After a month in a funky group house-share inside the park, it was fantastic to come in to a lovely, modern room with a cozy lodge feel. The grounds were beautiful, and our first floor room opened up onto a private patio area. The lobby area has snacks and drinks at all hours (the guides even baked cookies!) and the breakfast was by far the best "continental" I've had anywhere. This more than makes up for the hard boiled egg and dry fruit loops I've been stuck with elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and go with these folks.

Yelp
We stayed here for a couple nights for a wedding in west glacier August 2013. What a great place! Very clean, very quiet, and the morning breakfast was perfect. Hospitable staff and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
We stayed here recently for several days and what a wonderful experience it was. Immaculate, all the amenities, and top-notch service by manager Teal. We would recommend this lodge to everybody, and would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this Lodge by doing a safari search for lodges in or near Glacier national park. We loved this small, quiet, clean 12 room Lodge with a healthy breakfast included every morning. We had an end room upstairs with extra windows on the side, 2 comfortable queen beds, A/C if needed and nice bathroom with wall heater, night stand and desk with chair. We even had a little space heater that looked like a small wood stove in our room for heat if needed. The gal who runs it, (family owned) Teal was awesome. She made a healthy breakfast each morning & provided take a long snacks for us as we headed out for a day of exploring. She gave great info on horse back riding, the areas in the park to see and local restaurants. We would stay here again if we returned to Glacier.

Yelp
What an awesome place to stay. This is like staying with family as the staff is so friendly and helpful. They spend time with everyone during breakfast getting to know each person. The breakfast is great with all organic and local products, gluten free, organic soy, almond, coconut milks are all available. Fresh fruit is always available as well as coffee, tea, granola bars, etc. The rooms are very spacious with an extra large tub/shower and comfy beds. Overall, we couldn't have picked a nicer location or friendlier environment. Hope to return next year when they reopen for the 2016 season. Thank you for your hospitality.

Yelp
Very pleased with our stay here! We just needed one additional night near Glacier as we were too late to stay in the park for our entire stay. Having been here, we'll come back here instead of staying in the park! Within 5 minutes of the Apgar entrance, quiet, peaceful ambiance, and the sense of an upscale B&B! The room was super clean and very comfortable! Kid-friendly to our toddler, too. Breakfast is continental-style, very filling! The only reason it's 4 is because we were only here for less than 24 hours, so I can't speak to any other aspects. I know other reviewers have, though. Edit: Upgrading to a 5! Heard the staff giving lots if great advice for where to hike, etc, and we knew it was great advice, because we had done those hikes! So impressed by this place!

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at Glacier Guides Lodge. Josh, the Inn Keeper, is the best! He had a great breakfast every morning and heped us plan our day. The Lodge was new, clean, had wirelss connections, and cell phones work here. I hope to return soon and stay here again.
