I'm honestly confused by the menu items and restaraunt theme and it was not worth the price. Upon entrance and look at the menu, the place gives a more high end fine dining expierence. They offer wine, beer and a variety of menu options. Their menu items on average is $20+ and for 2 people, drinks, dessert and entrees we paid over $70. You'd expect something of more higher quality on food expierence, but that did not deliver during my visit.
Their silverware is wrapped in paper napkins. You get water served in a plastic cup and then a gorgeous water jug made of glass. The receipt is given in a written pad check given on a table made of granite and fine wood chairs.
Their menu items absolutely does not tie into their theme (whatever the theme is) - you have things from homemade huckleberry pie, chicken pot pie, tacos, and a Thai bowl. That is American, Mexican, and thai inspired dishes in 1 menu - which is something I'd expect at a Cheesecake Factory...but even Cheesecake Factory has a theme with menu items averaging below $20.
Don't even get me started with the Thai Bowl. It was definitely not worth $20+. It was basically a garden salad & quinoa with sad breaded chicken with a side of peanut sauce. Nothing Buddah or Thai about it. It's like they added peanut sauce and called it Thai. They could have at least aligned the bowl with some authentic Thai ingredients and flavor profiles like rice, lemongrass, rice noodles, coconut, etc. Definitely not worth $20+.
If you're trailing Glacier park looking for some food or driving by on a roadtrip, I reccomend you eat somewhere else more affordable to meet your need for food. This is not the place to go unless you're looking for something different like bison sliders or steak skewers with chimmichuri.
This $70+ check would have gotten me a way better fine dine-in expierence in the city.
Also, the service was ok. The first thing our waiter said was "you know what you want?" Nothing else - didn't introduce themselves, didn't offer any drinks to start with. Yeah. That was it.
Anyone who has worked at a fine dine in restaraunt or who understands the class of the industry will know that this restaraunt can do better. Even if they weren't going for a fine-dine in feel.
