Glacier Park International Airport

FCA is a surprisingly efficient and easy airport to navigate for such a small regional hub. The terminal is clean, bright, and has that cozy Montana lodge feel with wooden beams and mountain decor. Even the jet bridges are lined in cedar. Security is quick, lines move fast, and baggage claim is right by the exits so you’re in and out in minutes. I think it’s better designed over Jackson Hole, JAC has better terrain. There aren’t many food or shopping options, but what’s there is decent and friendly. Rental car pick-up and return are right outside the terminal doors. Overall, FCA is exactly what you want in a regional airport: efficient, friendly, and stress-free. A great gateway to Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley.

This airport is beautiful, spacious, professional and friendly to arrive/depart. Parking lots are great, never had to back up in angle Parking, easier than parallel. I really enjoyed the vintage automobile, 1936 I think shared.

I’ve had the pleasure of passing through some nice airports during my travels. Some aren’t so hot… This airport is really great. It’s very comfortable and peaceful. Everything is easy and each individual employee I dealt with had a smile and was entirely friendly to me. Spotless modern restrooms, efficient TSA and big comfortable chairs with views. Really nice experience!

Super niche but incredibly nice airport! Service was fast, congenial, and helpful from everyone we interacted with. For sure would recommend this airport to others.

This airport is very small, so it is easy to navigate. The car rentals are right in the same building with the airport. The building is in good condition and appears to be newer. The building is clean.

Glacier Park International Airport is the best airport I’ve had the pleasure of flying out of in a city! I’ve never seen a fire place in an airport! The tile, wood, and stonework are magnificent. This may sound silly, but I liked the bathroom sinks the best. You touch a faucet for water, soap, or air dry! The device keeps the bathroom so much cleaner! The airport has all the conveniences one would need: a bar, restaurants, and a store. What a beautiful way to head home!

Airport itself is what you'd expect when heading to Glacier Park Int. Airport in Montana. Awesome. Mountains outside. Even better. I have to give Quinn and Laurie(Or Lori)-Ann credit for being incredibly helpful and patient. Our booking site messed up our seats and they found a way to help with a packed plane, and helped with an overflow of baggage. I am not a fan of flying. At all. They helped make it a better experience before setting foot on the plane. Cannot thank them enough. To describe the airport in just a few words, Clean Small Friendly Cozy Warm Organized Felt more like a family owned shop than a Walmart if that makes sense.

Glacier Park International Airport (aka Kalispell Airport) is a gem for those traveling to the beautiful Glacier National Park area. The airport is currently undergoing a significant renovation, and the updates so far look fantastic. About half of the airport is complete, and you can already see how much more modern and comfortable the experience will be once the work is done. Because this is such a small airport, it is incredibly easy and convenient to navigate. Security lines are generally short, making the check-in process quick and stress-free. The pickup and drop-off areas are well-organized and nearby, so there’s no hassle when arriving or departing. One thing to note is the limited dining options, with essentially just one option. With the ongoing renovations, hopefully, the second half of the airport will include additional dining choices, which would be a welcome improvement. The rental car services are conveniently located right outside the terminal, making it easy to get on the road to explore the stunning surroundings. Also, the airport’s proximity to Glacier National Park means you can be in the heart of nature in no time after landing. In summary, Glacier Park International Airport offers a smooth, easy-going travel experience with exciting improvements on the horizon. Just keep in mind the limited food options and be prepared for a bit of construction as they finish the renovations. Oh, and they also have great wifi that connects really quickly.

This airport is newly updated / undergoing updates and everything looks great! The aesthetic definitely makes you feel like you are in a park/mountain town which is awesome. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. As this is a smaller airport, there's not much as far as food options. That is the only real downside. Everything else about the airport was a positive.

Welcome to Bear Country in Montana!! The Kalispell Glacier Park International Airport is the primary airport serving the Flathead Valley region in northwestern Montana, near the small town of Kalispell. It provides access to Glacier National Park. The airport is a popular gateway for travelers heading to Glacier National Park, which is about a 30-45 minute drive away.

Great smaller airport. Everything is clean and modern. TSA has updated bag scanners. No need remove laptops. Not sure if rental cars are on site or if there's a shuttle bus. We rented a Turo and it was left for us at airport parking which incidentally is $18 per day max cash only. The airport has a fabulous grand piano that anyone who is good can play.

Trivia: Glacier Park international Airport is roughly the same distance from what three cities that all have cozy and walkable downtowns worth visiting? This is a beautiful airport. Rustic, clean, new. There is a bit of construction going on, so prepare for that if you are planning to fly out and considering cutting it close. On that same note, parking was really easy for drop off. There are back-up parking spots just about 50 feet from the doors which allow one to feel a less jolted about the normal drop-off at airports. Once through security, the terminal is not very large, but it does contain a decent bar/restaurant and coffee option. The bathrooms in the terminal are built with natural lighting which was definitely a new feeling. Sort of nice for some reason.

Excuse me? Did someone say Bear country? Make sure you bring that bear spray when you hike. I saw a few solo hikers with no water (wth) nor bear spray during hikes. Someone had just gotten attacked by a bear a day prior and had to get airlifted. Glacier has Grizzly & Black bears so please come prepared. This isn't a walk in the park. Bring proper shoes, water, etc. This place has beautiful trails and you will have a chance to encounter a lot of wildlife. It has beautiful scenery even as you're driving to the trails in your vehicle and make stops at the lookout points. One of my favorite place and hiking trails was Grinnell Glacier trail ...the lake is beautiful but the hike to Grinnell glacier that 13.4 mi round trip hike was very much worth it! It takes about 7 hrs round trip it's not an easy hike. My other favorite hike was to Avalanche Lake. It has stunning views and you do have to go through trails of the cedar. Just a beautiful and enjoyable trail! I've been to plenty of National Parks. This is one of the cleanest ones I've seen. Not many trash left on the trails. Please pick after yourself. Whatever shenanigans you decide to do, you will have a fantastic time. I can't wait to come back and check out other trails.

I almost think reviewing airports is weird because most people have no choice. You have to fly into where you have to fly into. However, I am so obsessed with this airport that I have to tell everyone about it. This is my favorite airport that I've ever been to and I'm not sure another will ever be able to top it! I never realized an international airport could be so small, but it makes it so cozy and intimate! First, there's only 3 gates currently open. They are doing construction on the airport to expand, but you don't even notice it once you're inside. Have you ever been quite literally the only person going through security? I never thought I would be til I flew out here. The TSA were so chill and friendly. I zoomed through security. The main area feels like a warm cabin. There's the cutest seating area with big chairs and a fireplace. You can see the mountains through the large windows. The coffee shop makes a really good iced vanilla latte. The restaurant inside made one of the best meals we had during our time in Kalispell. The gift shop is really cute with a variety of items. This airport is a complete 10/10 in every category. I wish every travel experience could be like this one.

I was so excited when we landed and couldn't stop raving about this airport on social media, only to have my experience turn disappointing. Unfortunately, I encountered racial discrimination and harassment just for asking questions about our flight information and hotel vouchers. A lady working for United, who was associated with TSA, treated us incredibly poorly simply because we are people of color. She harassed us and even called security, threatening not to allow us to board our flight home just for inquiring about how long it would take to issue the hotel vouchers. United had deplaned us without clear communication about what was happening, when we would board our flight, or where we would stay. After waiting patiently for two hours, I approached the counter only to be met with more discrimination and harassment. I noticed she was treating others of her race more kindly, which was very disheartening. We had traveled to Montana to celebrate a milestone, and she left us with a traumatic memory that will last a lifetime. I believe airports need to take strict action against such behavior to ensure a better experience for all travelers. Before going to the airport, I told my husband we would come back soon here coz I loved the experience, but unfortunately, because of that lady, I will never come back to this horrible airport.

Wowww this is easily the nicest airport I've ever been to. I never even thought I'd write a review on an airport, but this one stands out so much that I needed to. The inside feels like a cozy cabin as opposed to the normal airport feel. Past security, there is a lounge-y waiting area with couches and a fireplace. There is a bar/restaurant, a coffee shop, and your typical airport shop with snacks and drinks close by. The walls are all brick and wood and warm. We had to sit in the airport for about 6 hours before our flight (only because our friends with the rental car were on an earlier flight than us) and were dreading it, but it honestly went by pretty quickly and easily because of how nice this airport is. I got a matcha latte from the coffee shop when we landed, and a sandwich from the bar when we left-both of which were very good. Our checked luggage came very quickly. For my family on the flight after us, their luggage actually started coming out before they even got to baggage claim.

Happy this airport exists as it was an easier 30 minute drive from our Airbnb versus the 2 hour drive from the other Montana airport we flew into. She's small, but she's newer looking and feels modern but will not give you a ton of dining options, just grab and go. TSA was good and flight was on time.

The cozy airport is very clean and easy to get around. Definitely feel like you're in Montana with areas full of wood structures and large windows allowing for natural light. I was especially happy to see the car rentals were just a few steps out the front doors of the airport lobby, it's never fun waiting for a shuttle offsite. We visited just weeks before the busy season kicks off so security was a breeze! Tip- allow yourself a few extra minutes to enjoy the plush leather seats and fire place before heading to your gate.

Fine cozy airport with 7 gates and quick acres in and out of the airport. Inside once you're past security they have a nice bar and lounge. There is a TSA pre-check line but doesn't really matter - was faster to stand in regular line since they just alternated between lines so use your judgement. They have the new analogic security systems so budget 15 min to get through security assuming minimal line. Rental car is a quick walk away.

This airport is AWESOME! Very kind nice people, everyone speaks english, service is great and not a lot of people.

The airport is under construction but I can it's going to be beautiful when it is completed. Baggage claim is small but efficient. There is parking for quick pickup and a couple car rental places. I can't speak to any food or shops as everything was closed when we arrived. It is a small airport and easy to get there.

Very small airport (only 6 gates) and part of it under renovation. Super convenient location for Glacier National Park. Limited food options and seating areas. Just a few baggage carousels. Rent your bear spray here (and drop off when you depart). Walk right across the parking lot for rental cars. TSA was way more helpful and accommodating that we would see at Chicago (ORD) due to a mixup on the name on my boarding pass. This is really your only option when going to Glacier yet it was a pleasant experience. 5/5 although I am traveling during late September.

Such a friendly airport. It's small (like the Bend, OR airport) and looks like it hasn't changed in decades. You can tell by the dated carpet and chairs. I've switchbacked through some brutal security lines and met some pretty mean TSA agents but at Glacier Park Int'l Airport they don't treat you like cattle and they actually laugh and smile while doing their job. They are so nice and give off good vibes. I also purchased a Costco muffin at the bistro/cafe. They were friendly at the register too.

Flew into here and out of here for a trip to Glacier National Park. TSA Precheck line was the longest I've ever seen it anywhere in the US (and I've flown a lot!). Gate 1 was under construction so I think both gates 1 and 2 were using the same gate area; it was quite slow, cramped, crowded. Wifi worked fine, small airport, not a lot of food choices. A lot of the rental car companies are right at the airport with no shuttling involved which is nice though!

The Kalispell airport is small but really nice! I loved all the animals they had scattered across the terminal wearing masks too! Because the airport is so small, it takes only a few minutes to walk from the gate, to the baggage claim and then to the rental car counter upon arrival. In fact, the rental car counters are right next to the baggage carousels! No shuttles required! Upon return, it was also a breeze to return our keys to the rental car counter as we walked to the airline desk to check our bag. Security lines are also non-existent as there seems to only be 1 or 2 flights going out at any given time. There was only 1 family in front of us in line as we went through the checkpoint! The only downside is that there didn't appear to be any restaurants inside the gate area and I only saw 1 gift shop. So either brings snacks or don't arrive to this airport too early! As long as you get your bags checked at least an hour before your flight (most airlines have a 45-60 min cutoff) you should be good to go!

With Covid-19 going on, the tiny international airport was pretty empty. The agent taking my luggage and ticket was the same person who helped me board my flight. I appreciate how clean the aircraft was and how there are hand sanitizers everywhere. You're able to carry on a small bottle of hand sanitizer in your bag. Just know that TSA will check it to sure it's hand sanitizer in the bottle. The gift shop on the first floor is wonderful and great if you need any last minute souvenirs. The little deli upstairs is pretty bad. I didn't order anything, but there were 2 people who ordered food and came back to complain about it. These were 2 separate incidents so not sure if they are from the same party. I suggest bringing your own snacks or grabbing a bite at a brewery/restaurant since airport food is pretty expensive and there's very limited options here.

Kalispell Airport is small... probably the smallest airport I've been through. This airport is primarily used for Glacier National Park and a few of the National Forests that are in the area. There were random travelers but I saw a plethora of people with backpacking/hiking gear. This airport might be small but it's super-efficient. Gathering my luggage, rental car, and leaving was simple. Also checking in and going through security was simple. There are plenty of animals throughout the terminal. So like the parks in the area, animals are EVERYWHERE! (I still miss all the wildlife). There is a little bistro/cafe that has a variety of things to choose from. The food is much better for you than the fast food found in most airports. Forget that souvenir? There are a couple of shops in the airport and they were surprisingly much cheaper than your typical airport souvenir shops. If I could recommend one thing from Leryna Bistro... order yourself a huckleberry smoothie. The night before my flight home was my dehydration night. I couldn't keep anything on my stomach. I wanted to try a huckleberry smoothie before leaving and decided to chance it. I still had to take it easy on the way to and while in Chicago but that huckleberry smoothie was magic. It hydrated me while also allowing me to finally eat something once I made it to Chicago. Since you're not supposed to fly with bear spray, I'd suggest renting it from Glacier Outfitters. They have a shop near the park but they also have an extra convenient shop right next to the baggage claim area. You rent it for a fraction of the price(of a new can). If you use it, you pay full price. If you don't, just drop it off as you're flying out and you saved some money on your trip. I rented 2 cans for the week but didn't end up needing them. I almost needed 1 can... I had it out and ready to deploy but I was able to scare that bear away thankfully.

Gets the job done. Friendly staff that are very helpful. I forgot I had a swiss knife as part of a multipurpose tool in my carry on from camping and they tracked down my checked bag to put it in there. Smaller so doesn't have a lot of food options but you also don't have to walk a distance to get to your terminal which is nice.

Wonderful, cozy, and efficient airport! Staff there is very warm and welcoming! Easy to navigate and it made our trip so much easier. TSA pre-check was very slow going though, I will say that. I expected it to be much faster than it was. So plan accordingly. Staff at car rental was very friendly and helpful and they really know their stuff. If you're going to Glacier NP, THIS is the airport you should use!

What a cute airport!! I love the log cabin inspired aesthetic, which definitely fits the vibe of the area. The airport is also not very large so the baggage claim and car rental were super close to the gate! My friends and I got our checked bags within minutes of getting off the plane! There's also a huge parking lot right outside the airport. Everything is super easy to find and accessible. I only wish there could have been more restaurant and gift shop options, I only saw one of each here.

Small airport. Arriving and departing is super easy. Everyone I encountered was friendly. They do have some car rental companies on site. Bathrooms were clean. The coffee shop was open at 4am inside the terminals. There's plenty of seating. I didn't see any plugs to charge devices.

The airport is fine. We have flown happily for 10'years. The parking keeps getting worse! Prices are high. We went through the credit card only wouldn't work for us trying two cards. The lady working Cash only "Pat " working the window could care less. I explained it wasn't working she just started at us like we were crazy. I know getting help is hard and Pat is older but just a friendly face saying they will help you would be nice as you pay a lot to park there. Pat could care less about our problem. Sad our airport is turning into a careless place.

Probably one of the nicest airports I've been in. It is an international airport but very small. I think it's only Alaska, United and Allegiant that fly out of here. Lots of tourism since there Glacier National Park and the ski resort of Whitefish. Going through pre-board was a breeze and disembark is always quick. But as I said it's a very small airport which is amazing for an international airport. Very clean and friendly folks. A gift shop and food is available after you go through pre-check so if you're early you can eat, drink or shop.

I'm writing this review for the woman working the United/Delta baggage claim service--though I do like the rest of the airport as well. I unfortunately did not get her name, but she has the gorgeous, long white hair. I had the absolute worst travel day ever coming from LGA-DEN-FCA. No one's fault of course, but she was the only airport employee that was nice to me all day. After making my connection in DEN, which was super tight due to FAA delays, my bags did not make it on my flight home. When I asked her about my bags, she checked on them for me. She gave me a little care kit and told me exactly which flight they would be on and that I could get them as early as 7 AM the next day or that they could ship them. I came in at 7 today and the desk was closed. Came back at about 10, right before incoming flights, and it was still closed, but she walked in ten seconds after me. She recognized me immediately and got me my bags before even opening the desk. She told me they'd called her to come in later and when they did, she asked them if they'd gotten my bags last night and if I'd come in to check. She went absolutely above and beyond for me and it's obvious she cares about her job and the people flying. Can't thank her enough.

Great little airport, just don't expect to get fed and expect to pay around $20 for a sandwich if you can get one.

Small airport. My husband says there is slow free wifi; I didn't try it. Bathrooms through security have 4 stalls for women. Hallway has two drinking fountains; one cafe/bar in the main secure area and one small gift shop. Line up for departures is a bit hectic when queuing two flights, but it still works. They have multiple tv boards, but not a master flight board in the side for gates 1-4. Regardless, this was a convenient spot for us to fly out of when trying to get from Milwaukee-via-Chicago to West Glacier (approx half hour drive from here).

TSA is ridiculous! I don't wear jewelry when flying, wear only a t-shirt and jeans with no rivets and they still pull me over for a pat-down. What was she looking for on my chest! Then Alaska Airlines Agent YELLS at me to put my wallet inside my carry-on as we are getting on the plane! Both my carryon and wallet would fit under the seat. And she's YELLING "BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE BOARDING AREA!!!! OR HE CAN CARRY IT (referring to my traveling companion)!!! Wow! It's not like I had a huge duffle bag or backpack and a huge purse! Everyone at this airport acts like they are Border Patrol Agents on steroids!

What an easy airport to access, I don't think you can get lost in here because of how small/ easy it is to get in and out! The TSA took 5 minutes or less. The staff assisted my male client with a disability, they took care of the wheel chair. Got us all checked in and assisted with assuring we made it on the plane and into our seats.

Simple easy hotel to travel in and out of. Security was a breeze. All the gates are very close to each other and enough seats/space to move around. Baggage claim and parking etc are all very close to the gates. Ground transportation (taxis and Ubers) all pick up and drop off just outside on the middle curb. Very easy airport to navigate.

I was leaving Glacier out of FCA airport and I had forgotten about my new, unopened bottle of honey in my bag. TSA obviously wouldn't let me through with it and so I tried to get my luggage back from the main desk to put it in there. Unfortunately, they had said no and told me I could throw it away or donate it to them.... So, I left with my honey and found a fedex drop off in front of the airport. I just needed a box and tape and the label. I went to the store inside, Glacier Outfitters, and asked Dylan if he knew any way I could send out my honey. Dylan went above and BEYOND my expectations. He quickly helped me find a unused box, lent me some tape, and was able to print out my shipping label. I had a pretty horrible day and he really was just so nice and so welcoming, he really turned my day around! He was extremely professional, polite, helpful, everything! I ended up buying from the store as a thank you too! I'll probably always go there now when I'm at FCA just to support this store and this employee. I know it's just honey but, like I said, when you're having a horrible day, little things like this are really big things for that person. Thank you again Dylan and you guys have amazing employees! Give this man a raise for being one hell of a human being!

Smallest 'international' airport in the world. We flew from San Jose to Seattle, and then took a connecting flight to Kalispell, where we rented a car to drive to Glacier National Park. This airport is very small -only 4 gates, in one main terminal. When we deplane on the tarmac we have to go outside down stairs instead of through a connecting ramp directly from the plane to the terminal. We are lugging carry on luggage down the stairs, onto the tarmac in the elements. OK in summer, but someone is just waiting to slip on the ice during winter! Going to the Alamo car rental is a breeze, as it is just steps away in the main terminal, with the rental cars and parking right next to the terminal. Returning the car is similarly easy. Alaska Airlines has a kiosk for printing out boarding passes, as none of our hotels in Glacier National Park had a wifi connection to a printer. TSA lines -what TSA lines!? Free wifi in the waiting lounges , with a foursome of electrical outlets within each batch of a dozen or so lounge chairs, so no fighting for recharging your iPhone! No escalator to the second floor , but they have a single small elevator for those who don't want to lug their luggage up and down the stairs -OK except when a plane discharges a plane load of passengers . Clean and very accessible bathrooms. Our flight back to Seattle was delayed 20 minutes due to a gate delay of the plane in Seattle, before it got back to Kalispell to pick us up. Tiny airport means tiny local commuter airliners, instead of the long range twin jet liners. Gates 1A, 1B and 1C are wheelchair accessible ramps leading directly to the tarmac, where one boards outdoors right up the staircase into the side of the plane. Alaska Airlines/Horizon Airlines use their smaller Bombadier Q400 twin turboprop planes for flights to and from this airport. These 78 passenger planes cruise at 414 mph, rather than the 514 mph of the 160 passenger twin jet Boeing 737-800s, don't have reclining seats, nor in seat electrical outlets, and require extra time for all carry on wheeled luggage to be valet checked in at the plane entry, due to only a 6 inch tall overhead compartment hatch. They also deplane using an exterior stairwell, rather than through a connecting enclosed gateway ramp. On the positive side, they do have two exit doors in use rather than one exit door in use. Our flight back to Seattle was delayed 20 minutes due to a gate delay of the plane in Seattle, before it got back to Kalispell to pick us up. If we had had the standard twinjet airliner, we could have made our connecting flight in Seattle. As it is, we missed the connecting flight, and had to stay an extra 2 hours in Seattle to catch the next flight. Very pricey flying in and out of this airport. It cost $820 total for the two of us going the 2158 miles roundtrip. By comparison it cost $1040 for the two of us going the 4712 miles roundtrip to Kahului, Maui. That's what competition does. This tiny airport has short lines to the planes, but uses slower local commuter planes, with less features than the larger jet airliners, and flights are more costly on a per mile basis. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

They do not have any transportation options to accomodate your flight. There are maybe 5 cabs in the whole town. Most of which will be booked. Car rentals will also be out of cars and anyone remaining will charge more than $200 for one ride to Swan Lake. And yet they keep expanding the airport.

In this remote outpost of civilization, the airline staff only works part-time. The ticket counters are only staffed right before a flight. Show up early, as the ticket counter & baggage screening closes long before the boarding time, so the counter staff can become gate agents or baggage handlers. Alaska Airlines is the worst offender. The Good: Upon arrival, bags arrive on the carousel very quickly. The rental cars are right outside the baggage doors.

Really like this airport. This is the first and only airport I've been to where the TSA are friendly and nice. Several agents even went out of their way to help passengers. This is a charming little airport located in a charming community in Montana. If you come to glacier national park you won't disappointed with this trip in.

This is one of the smallest airports I've ever been to, but everyone is friendly and incredibly helpful. Make sure you leave enough time for your flight because the team that works the counter also works on getting the flights boarded/off the ground so they close the ticket counters about half an hour before flights take off. Easy car rentals, easy security, a hot dog vendor outside the airport. All good things!

This is a very great airport to fly out out, especially given their TSA staff. The TSA team here is one of the most professional and helpful ones I have seen in my many travels. In a world where travel is frantic and airport security has become very busy, i was beyond impressed with their attention to detail, efficiency, and helpfulness. Kudos to the team and their management, keep up the great work!

Very quick and clean airport! For sure not the biggest but was organized. Thanks for making it easy on tired hikers :)

This micro-airport (teeny tiny planes and only 4 gates) is clean and well kept. There is a snack bar (not a restaurant) which serves weak, cheap drinks and "Nacho", among other things. Bathrooms are clean. While the building is nicely maintained, the people leave something to be desired. Bigoted, hillbilly TSA felt the need to pat down my Asian-American fiancé who was wearing pants with no pockets and a tank top. Exactly what did they think she was hiding? Also, they fully unpacked my carry on (which was quite full after a 6 day trip) said it was all clear, and then instructed me to pack it back up and move on. The surrounding area is so nice, and rental car prices so low, do yourself a favor and drive through. Avoid if your skin tone doesn't match the surrounding glacier.

Flew in and out of here. The airport is small (what you would expect). Everything ran smoothly here. From rental car pickup and drop off. Checking and baggage. Security was typical. Airport was clean. All in all a winner

I love small airports that get it right, and this airport does just that! I think they have a few flights to Canada, so I am guessing that is how they earned their "International" status ...haha! Glacier Park International Airport is located just outside of Kalispell Montana, on the way to nearby Whitefish & Columbia Falls (in Northwest Montana's Rocky Mountains). All of the people working here seemed really friendly during a recent visit! Like many small airports, everything is easy to find. There is beautiful photographs around the airport taken in nearby Glacier National Park. Come & enjoy one of our Nation's greatest Parks - Glacier National Park!

We travel frequently for business and pleasure, and spend a fair share of time in airports all across the USA. This airport will be added to our list of the Littlest Biggest Surprises of 2017! We arrived late at night on a connecting flight from Denver, but the staff on the tarmac was on point and had our jet ladder quickly deployed and us off the plane efficiently and safely. Once inside signs easily directed us to the baggage claim and rental car desks. We were really happy to see that even after 11pm the AVIS desk was staffed and helpful in getting us to our waiting Subaru. The baggage claim area was clean and our bags were delivered quickly and efficiently. For our deparutre flight the service and friendliness were again apparent. So nice to have smiling TSA and gate agents everywhere, must be a small town vibe! We hope to visit Montana again, and if we do, this will be our airport of choice!

Good and bad. Small cozy airport for sure. There are many great pictures of Gracier National Park on the wall. The reason I didn't give 4 stars was that they closed the gate for the flight a little earlier than planned. Luckily the worker somehow found us and told us to go there not to miss the flight.

Great, small airport. It looks like this airport only has several gates max. The people who work at this airport seems more relaxed and less intense than those you'd typically see at the larger airport. After all, I think it's Montana, so people's level of hospitality seems higher than those who work in urban airport locations. You can get in/out of the airport pretty fast. Everything seems to be located in the terminal (2-3 lines of baggage claim, 2-3 gates, security check point, rental car counters and a small café/place where you can grab something to eat). I had to -1 as there weren't many food options if you had to grab something to eat at the airport.

Nice little airport, direct flight from LAX. The arrival gate was really crowded though, the people were waiting for a flight to Los Angeles.

Awesome People! Awesome place! Small but Busy Airport. Employs are always working hard to make things quick, easy and enjoyable!! Love Flying in and out of this Airport!!
