Google
This place was a tip from a local friend and it's definitely worth it. Greatest variety of ice cream, and I can really recommend the caramel one. Creamy and tasty!

Google
Yummy ice cream. Nice and tangy raspberry. White peach felt a bit too bland in comparison. The queue was so long but the line moved up quite quickly. Handing out the menu for people lining up was a great idea. When you get to the counter, pay first by letting them know how many scoops you would like. Then you queue up again for ordering the flavors you want.

I don't think I've ever seen an ice cream shop with so many flavours. It kind of out me off as I assumed having so many options they were not going to be good. How wrong I was!!!!! The ice cream was excellent!!!!

Martin

Google
Fantastic ice cream and array of flavour options. The queue to wait told us what to expect… top quality ice cream. Possibly the best we’ve ever had!

Lotte Claassen

Google
Very rich and flavourful ice cream! They offer a range of unique flavours and serve decent-size scoops. Would deff recommend!!

Google
Delicious ice cream with various choices of flavors. Staff are very nice too. Must try “Foin des montagnes” which you will never find it anywhere else.

Google
Glacier Terre adelice does high quality ice cream with delightful textures. With a myriad of flavours to choose from, which may have been the hardest part. The caramel cookie ice cream was rich and slightly sticky, complemented by a crunchy cone. The limon basil sorbet provided a refreshing tartness and fragrance. Despite the queues, they move quickly. While the ice cream is excellent, it is somewhat pricey. The chosen flavors didn't pair well, contrasting instead, all the more reason to revisit and reattempt.

Anyone who appreciates quality of ingredients and not just an overload of sugar, will be rewarded with bursts of flavor in an impressive array of choices and I promise you can’t pick just one

Yelp
One of my favorite gelato shops ever. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of Terre Adelice makes it worth the value. They use only use regional whole milk, and their fruit ingredients represent 60-70% of those sorbet and ice cream flavors; plus, everything is organic. I ordered the strawberry sorbet and caramel gelato. They were so good that if I were to return to Lyon, I'd be torn if I want to reorder the same flavors or try new ones. They also have an adjoining small cafe area that serves up crepes and coffee. Credit cards are accepted.

Yelp
Had the sorbets. I had mango and my wife had the coconut. It was like eating frozen purée fruits. Excellent. Always a line. Worth the wait.

Yelp
Pricey, but worth it. Many amazing ice cream flavors. We sat outside to enjoy our coupe. When it began to rain they sprung into action and covered us with awnings and umbrellas. €15 for a coupe

Yelp
Really enjoyed the ice cream flavors (almond orange, mint, and milk jam). I think they have 96, and I would have loved to try more, but the sundaes could only fit three. However, I wasn't that impressed with the biscuits, fruit, and chocolate that came with the sundae. The whipped cream and honey was great though!

Yelp
I love ice cream. This place is so good. It's fast and it's for such a variety! Lyon is top notch and their dessert does not disappoint. I honestly tried bacon ice cream and it was solid. I also got vanilla. Also delicious. Worth a stop by. Cool cobblestone street and close to the river so good vibes, good sweets, and good people. Would recommend!

Yelp
This gelato spot is located along Rue Saint-Jean, which is full of brand name ice cream and gelato spots to choose from. But Glacier Terre Adélice is the one to stop at. There is a crowd of people in line to grab a scoop of their favorite flavor, but the line moves quickly since they have multiple people behind the counter to attend to several customers at once. Terre Adélice offers so many flavors, it's kind of insane. They have very unique, exotic ice cream and sorbet flavors that I've never seen before and they all sound amazing! It ranges from refined (like mint leaf and lavender) to exotic (like bergamot or passionfruit) to indulgent (like pink praline, tiramisu or stracciatella chocolate), and delicate (like Corsican clementine orange and wild bilberry). The ice cream is very high quality and made with only the best ingredients. I got one scoop of pistachio in a waffle cone and my siblings got a scoop of speculoos biscuit, mango, passionfruit and nougat--all in waffle cones as well. The scoops are really generous and definitely worth the price (4€). My pistachio was so creamy and exquisite! If I ever stop in Lyon in the future, this would be my go-to place for a cold treat.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ice cream place. The line is always long but they get you through quickly. The menu is so extensive. About 90 flavors I think? I love the quality of their ice cream. Each flavor is so unique and a burst of flavor. We were vacationing in Lyon and I'm pretty sure I visited here twice a day for ice cream. That's how much I love this place! I always find myself coming back here. 10/10. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Minus 1 star for saying one sample per person when they have so many flavors. I did manage to convince them to let me sample a few before I was cut off.. - Roquefort: intense, as hot would expect - Smoked bacon: milder than I thought - Yuzu: intense, my favorite - Pear: not as good as the yuzu In the end, I went with yuzu and black sesame. Both were good, but it's not cheap at €5 for a small cup (for 2 flavors). Eat in prices are even higher.

Yelp
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had... and I've eaten a lot of ice cream. Great, shady place to take a break after exploring Lyon on a hot day. Coffee and dark chocolate were amazing - super flavorful.

Yelp
We stopped here for a treat on Monday in the late afternoon. There is a line, but it moves pretty quickly, and there are a bajillion flavors to choose from, so make good use of your waiting time. Since we were all still pretty full from lunch, we opted for three sorbets, which were perfectly refreshing with the hot weather: strawberry, pink grapefruit, and Corsican clementine. SO DELISH!! Every flavor was popping with zest and fruitiness. We may be shot down by the French Epicurean Gods for saying this, but the ice cream here was better than at Berthillon. This should be a definite stop on your trip to Lyon.

Yelp
The best range and flavours of ice-cream I have ever tasted. Located in the old area of Lyon, this cute ice-cream parlor with a squillion billion creative and unusual flavours was a real treat on a hot day exploring. After agonising over the menu for a good 10 minutes and asking for suggestions as to which flavours would compliment each other, I decided on scoops of gingerbread, blood orange and yogurt. I don't think I can stress how heavenly it was. The creaminess of the yogurt, tartiness of the blood orange mixed with christmas spices, quirky mix but delicious.

Yelp
Must try if you're looking for late night ice cream with exotic flavors. Honey and rosemary was my favorite. Roquefort flavor was really really strong and definitely neat to experience. Only downside is you can't taste more flavors because there are so many. But each one tastes exactly like it was supposed to be flavored. Really uncanny. Recommend trying if you want something a little different.

Yelp
I swear this ice cream shoppe has more than 60 flavors ranging from fruits and nuts, chocolate, cheese, alcohol, exotic fruits, and flowers. When presented with this many options, you must storm ahead regardless of your potential gut feeling. No slight dairy intolerance will stop me! I ordered four flavors. I had one night in Lyon and wanted to make the most of it. Green chartreuse, violette, chestnut glace, fromage blanc de chevre. The clear winner was the chestnuts, but I'm a sucker for chestnut. Second was the violette with its light flowery notes. Third was the chevre. Such an unusual flavor. Last was the green chartreuse, a favorite beverage, but turned bitter tasting after the third or fourth bite. Service was quick and well organized. The daunting line wasn't as daunting as I initially thought. They manage the multi-lingual chaos well. If I were to do this again, I would probably try two scoops at a time in order to make better pairings.

Yelp
Quality ice cream and sorbet with unusual flavors, but super small portions (though most shops in France seem to give very little). The apricot lavender sorbet was tangy, creamy, and refreshing. A decent spot in the old town.

Yelp
It was okay, but 5$ for 2 ice creams...I felt a bit overpriced. The staff was really nice but feel like the place is touristed.

Yelp
Had matcha and sesame ice cream, was delicious and consistency really nice! The taste wasn't too strong what I love (less artificial). My gitlfriend had lavender and some sort of fleur d'orange (was it perfumed?? It tasted aweful to me, like someone put perfum on your ice-cream, so that was nothing for me). Price is a little high (I guess touristy) - 2,60€ for 1, 4,70€ for 2, etc. There were lots of different tastes, even cheese (for our riskier friends). Try it out!

Yelp
As I strolled down the cobblestone street of this historic part of Lyon, my eyes lit up: the immense variety of flavours and the minimalist style pulled me in. I wasn't in the mood for dairy so got a strawberry sorbet - one of the many sorbets made with local, organic ingredients. And oh my god, it's the strawberry sorbet I've always dreamed of but never found: creamy texture, refreshing scent, sweet as only fresh strawberries could be. I was already in love with the gastronomy city of Lyon after several delicious meals. Finding THE perfect sorbet was like the cherry on top. Or, should I say, the strawberry on top.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem while walking around the old town. They have so many flavors. Some are more eccentric than others. The ice cream is organic, fresh, and delicious. I recommend trying the basil, lavender, orange blossom, and honey-rosemary.

Yelp
Amazing ice cream! Loved this place - we stopped here every day while in Lyon - and its unbelievable selection of flavours. I loved the honey and madeleine, and the apple was fresh and tangy. The wild strawberry and vine peach (peche des vignes) were also both outstanding. The coconut was delicious and ordered more than once by my boyfriend, as was the rhubarb....mmmm! They use local fruit and had quite a few organic flavours, as well as lovely terrace around the corner if you are in the mood for a 'coupe' as opposed to a cone to walk the streets of Vieux Lyon with. Delicious and I will make a point of returning next time I am in Lyon!

Yelp
I have been going to Terre d'Adélice since 2013 but have been utterly disappointed with the experience in the past year. I used to be in love with the number of flavors available and more particularly how innovative some of the combinations were. I was willing to turn a blind eye to the relatively expensive price tag because a large part of the offer is organic and in all cases care is taken in sourcing the best (and often most local) ingredients. Recently, the shop seems to have succombed to its own success. The flavors are still there but the service leaves much to be desired. You can only taste one flavor before buying (non transferable tasting privileges I might add). Serving sizes are far from generous for the price paid. Go at a popular time and expect to wait for at least 20 minutes. I can't speak for everyone but I would only wait that long if I were rewarded with an outstanding ice cream at the end. Until that is the case again I'll just head to Amorino's 2 minutes away where the staff smile while serving me an overfilled cup of the most delicious chocolate and pistachio sorbet!

Yelp
I am so amazed by so many choices of taste and I chose lavender and Muscat raisin both surprised me! Now I am coming again and tired green tea /sesame /mango /coconut...can't wait for taste them

Yelp
Great ice cream flavours, especially their matcha and salted caramel! A must-try in Lyon. Remember to ask for extra homemade chantilly cream -- the really pile it on sky high, and it's totally worth the extra 0.50€.

Yelp
I don't usually get ice cream, but the long list of interesting and exotic flavors warrants a 5 star review. This is probably the most interesting ice cream shop I have seen in my 28 years on Earth.

Yelp
The ice cream is so delicious. I do find it on the pricier side, but I suppose that's also because the dollar to euro conversion doesn't really favor me at the moment. In any case, there were many flavors to choose from, perhaps about 50? Some of the interesting ones I saw were wasabi, pistachio, stracciatella, and of course the usual such as green tea, strawberry, various versions of vanilla/chocolate, and other fruit flavors. I'm definitely going back to vieux lyon to try more flavors.

Yelp
Very good ice cream, on par with some of the best ones I have had.

Yelp
Really nice wait staff and friendly service. Ice cream and coffee were unusual and delicious...definitely a must try if you in the area

Yelp
Really worth the time going there! Blood orange is really fresh, and the coconut flavor is a piece of heaven! It's a must try for every visitor!

Yelp
Great variety of flavors. Not too sweet. The dark chocolate sorbet, mint, and fromage blanc flavors stood out from a selection of 10. Good quality. Nice patio for sitting, clean restroom.
