Glacier View Cabins

We had a very nice stay at Glacier Cabins. Very clean and comfortable. Absolutely gorgeous view! We come to Homer every year and will definitely stay here again! Great place to stay. Used the grill on the porch and the stove top to make our stay more homey.

My wife and I were very much looking forward to staying here. But we were not able to. We had come down with Covid and we’re not able to make our trip. I’m sure it would’ve been a fantastic place to stay. The issue is we did contact them seven days before we were supposed to be there and they would give us no refund whatsoever. On their site, it states that they would give us half of it back. Apparently, they do not honor this. So we are out the $520 that they charged us for not staying there. We were disappointed, we are not sure we will book another visit. Baycrest Lodge (Homer) charges about the same and has much better accommodations than what we’ve seen from their site.

Amazing cabins, beautiful view, and the service by the staff was top notch. Stayed 4 days absolutely enjoyed being in our cabins.

My husband and I went to Homer, AK and stayed at Glacier View Cabins for a month. Every morning we were blessed with some of the most breathtaking views in Alaska as we stood on the porch of our cabin. Convenient and quiet, we loved our stay. The cabins were clean, the king bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was good and the kitchen had everything we needed including a large refrigerator that we stocked from the Safeway in town. We met the owners, and they were friendly, welcoming and willing to help in any way they could to make our stay an unforgettable one. We are definitely planning on going back to Homer, Alaska and staying at Glacier View Cabins. The price is right and the location is amazing. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Cabins are very nice, roomy. Having a dinner table, fridge, and stove is very nice for long stays. Met the owner. Very nice and makes sure you have everything you need to have a great stay. Beds are super comfortable. Complimentary wood for a fire is a nice addition. Having optional to have a fire is nice, However I went during a colder month so I passed. Great view from the cabin. Overall, great place.

Cozy cabin experience with a beautiful view and serene landscape. Affordable and accessible location.

We stayed in the cabin named Forget-Me-Not and it was advertised as being able to sleep 4 which was what we needed. This was only true on paper. There was a large bed that my parents reported to be fairly comfortable but my husband and I got the futon. Most people would be better sleeping on the floor. That futon was NOT meant to be sat on, much less slept on. Providing an air mattress or some kind of pad to lay on top of it is advisable. If we'd have stayed longer than one night, at least two of us would have had to go get a hotel. We are in so much pain this morning!|The cabin was "clean" meaning there was no trash in the cans or dirt on the floor but it smelled extremely musty. Understand that you are paying for the view, which was pretty awesome, NOT the living quarters.

This was our second stay here. We were two couples and got upgraded to the White House. So nice to have our own rooms and bathrooms and use of washer and dryer. Beautiful home with full kitchen and outdoor grill nice to be able to cook our own meals. We grilled our fresh caught fish. The manager is so accommodating and responsive to your needs. Thanks for a great stay!! Oh and did I mention the view, lovely.

This place is awesome; location, property and owner! Kelly the owner was so accommodating from letting us check in early to greeting us when we arrived and providing literally everything in the cabin! The coffee was delicious and the cabin was very clean and spacious! Each cabin has its own grill and full kitchen with dishes and utensils. We traveled with two dogs and two kids and we all had an awesome stay with a perfect view. Kelly even has little fire pits beside a picnic table for each cabin with firewood provided! Would highly recommend Glacier View Cabins and can't wait to stay again! Oh, and I have to say the shower was even great and didn't run out of hot water even with four of us showering, perfect after a long day of exploring.

This place is tremendous! Kelly, the owner has thought of everything to fully stocking the kitchen to space heaters in each room. The Elderberry cabin is the biggest with 2 bedrooms, plus a kitchen and living room complete with a woodburning stove....wood provided! We loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We stayed there in August 2018: beautiful, peaceful setting with lovely view of the bay & Kachemak Bay State Park with its snowy peaks. Bathroom was fine, no complaints, great little kitchenette, good wifi. Cabins have nice front porches, & if you leave the door open, Kelly's dog will trot in to say Hi. This was the second visit for my friend Maggie, who recommended it. Rates very reasonable for summer. Would return & probably will
