My Favorite Airbnb in Phuket: A Luxe Under-$200 Loft on a Bustling, Palm-Tree Lined Street

"The Airbnb apartment is located on a steep hill, with a round tunnel leading to a lobby equipped with a small workout room and a 24-hour help desk. The two-bedroom loft features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of palm trees and jungle-like vegetation. The living room area offers a comfortable periwinkle sectional couch with views of fireworks from the nearby Phuket FantaSea theme park. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the primary bedroom upstairs has a king-size bed, a sitting area, and two workspaces. The loft design includes blond wood elements, and the bathrooms feature pebbled flooring and rainfall shower heads. The property also includes a swimming pool and hot tub."

I had a fantastic stay at Glam Habitat in Phuket!. I especially appreciated the private pool. The location is good especially for families, just a short walk from Kamala Beach and close to shops and restaurants, yet still peaceful and quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile and great local recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was stylish yet laid-back.

We stayed at the Glam Habitat for 3 nights. With our two kids age 6m baby and 4y girl. What we loved: 1. Spacious room with nice shower and a huge comfy bed 2. The proximity of the hotel to Kamala Beach (5 min walk) 3. The hotel's tranquility and how it doesn't feel crowded 4. Beautiful shared pool (we loved it more than the room's pool) 5. Happy hour for kids by the pool with free ice cream and fresh fruits What we didn't like but didn't bother the experience so much: 1. At first, the room does feel very humid and dampy, but it goes away when the air con is on 2. The sofa in our room was worn out 3. Many mosquitoes, but I guess when in Thailand...

From the moment we stepped into Glam Habitat, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Yaya and Soar, who greeted us with delicious welcome drinks. Since we arrived early and our rooms weren’t quite ready, we treated ourselves to some refreshing non-alcoholic drinks, lovingly prepared by Fatim. When we finally entered our two-bedroom apartment, we were completely blown away—it was stunning, spotless, and had that wow factor! The modern, high-tech features and our own private pool were the perfect touch, especially after a long, hot day. The rooms were kept impeccably clean throughout our stay, and we felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. We stayed for 9 days, and honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. The staff were simply incredible—always smiling, always going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. It felt like being part of one big, happy family. Though the hotel is small, it has such a homely, welcoming vibe, which made our stay even more special. We were a group of 9, and we had the most amazing time in Thailand. One of the highlights was being able to join in on the New Year celebrations—it was a day full of joy, laughter, and epic water fights that lasted into the night! We were even greeted at breakfast with floral garlands, a beautiful gesture of respect and cultural honour that we truly appreciated. We embraced every moment as if it were our last. Huge thank you to the entire Glam Habitat team—from the friendly security guard at the gate to the driver who helped us out when we had taxi troubles. Your kindness and hospitality meant the world to us.

This boutique hotel is the best!! Location is ideal just across from Kamala Beach and in the other direction is a daily street market. Everything you could want is nearby: Massages, souvenir stores, pharmacy, restaurants, beaches, laundry..etc..Our room was a large One Bedroom Apartment with our own swim out pool on the 3rd floor. Very clean, nice, modern rooms! Quiet location. We stayed in room 2304. This place made our stay in Phuket very memorable. The staff was awesome, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a large selection of cuisine. We would give this place 10 stars if we could! We stayed early May 2025.

I booked a stay with Glam Habitat. The dates were not correct and 3 days after I made the booking, when I tried to change the dates to when I would actually be in Thailand on vacation, the manager was unwiling to speak to me, he said he needed to go to a meeting. He said to call him back in 30 minutes. I did call back in 30 minutes (another internation call I was charged for by Verizon) he was still unavailble. ||I called back an hour later and than an hour and a half later and was still told he was unreachable and the staff who did answer the phone were not at all empowered to help me or resolve the issue or change my trip dates. ||I was told to email. I emailed the reservation team and received a response that said they would not change my trip dates, they canceled my trip and charge me the full amount of $783 and would not give me any kind of a refund. ||The reservation team and hotel manager were diffuclt/impossible to get ahold of, they would not listen to me, they would not work with me, they were inflexbile and were not understanding and did not exhibit good customer service or human kindness. ||I would not reccomend booking a stay with this hotel. I can't speak for what it would be like to stay there becuase I was charged for a hotel stay when I never stayed there. This is obviously not how I wanted this to turn out when I booked the stay.

My family and myself had a great time at Glam Habitat. Specious rooms, balcony-pool, great coffee and nibbles from the restaurant, very chill and enjoyable centeral pool. Location is really good, right next to Kamala beach boardwalk, night market, Carnival and Fantasyland. Great gym as well.

We stayed in a private pool suit. We kindly asked staff to change our suit beacuse it was too close to main road and there was huge noise problem and after a night they changed our room which was extremely important for me. And the hotel is very close to the beach.

Our stay at Glam Habitat was very disappointing. Having read all the amazing reviews, we expected more - better service, great location, amazing premises, delicious food. Unfortunately the communication with the booking team is very poor. Some might find the design of the hotel very appealing but we did not. Avoid booking rooms in building 1 - rooms are facing a very busy road. Rooms are super modern, spacious with comfortable beds and great plunge pool. Breakfast buffet is repetitive and poor. Beach, restaurants and bars are just 5 minutes walk from the hotel which is very convenient.
