What a surprise this place is. So peaceful. Keith has done amazing things on this property. We stayed in an old railway carriage. It has everything you need and a lovely deck to sit outside. The communal kitchen and deck area is spacious and comes with games , puzzle and books to use as well and everything you need in a kitchen or prepare a meal. If you’re looking for a peaceful break, this is the place😌

Keith is well mannered and the location is nice but this place is definitely not a four star hotel. I am surprised that this ecolodge is mentioned as a four star even on booking.com. The rooms are perhaps one star at best and the curtains need some serious cleaning. We drove from the Gold Coast and we were disappointed. The photos are perhaps for few years back as they did not seem realistic to us. The community kitchen was ok and perhaps realistic

Amazing stay! Comfortable bed, spacious room, excellent service, delicious breakfast. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! I went with my 3 children and we loved it. Friendly staff and clean areas. Great spot for Australia zoo day trip and wonderful view of surrounding mountains.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for what we needed. We only stayed one night as we were passing through on a road trip. It’s a perfect location for a longer stay to explore the Glass House Mountain area. |The train carriage kitchen is perfect for preparing your own meals and there are heaps of things to do on the grounds including walks and the orchard area. There are books, games and heaps of comfy places to sit and be peaceful.|It was so nice to read about the history of the eco lodge and Sally showed us around everything personally when we arrived.|A cheeky possum (I hope it was a possum) was a little noisy in the roof during the night but it was otherwise a lovely stay with heaps of character and a serene and peaceful vibe. We visited Australia Zoo and the Glass House mountains lookout and Lookout Cafe while in the area.

I stayed last night with my partner for my birthday and we couldn’t be happier. The grounds were beautiful, the fresh fruit from the trees was divine. Breakfast in the morning made by the owner (who is a lovely man) was great aswell. Offered me coffee made it straight away. Handed me a book with the pictured storyline of the ecolodge from the beginning until now and all I could think was wow. What an effort you have put in and how far you have brought this property is truely incredible. We will 100% be back again for another stay in the future.

I really enjoyed my short stay here, there was silence, with sounds of nature, the place itself has a peaceful energy. I liked learning about how the eco-lodge came to be and how it was created by transforming a church and train carriage into accommodation and a shared kitchen. It's a pretty cool place and I appreciate how Keith made his vision a reality 😁

This place is just beautiful and quaint. The shared spaces are so functional and inviting, the kitchen and dining in the old railway cars, the communal lounge and library, the "eaten" garden, love it all. Thanks Keith, you've created something really special and I will recommend to everyone who asks.

Beautiful accommodation in a lush green setting. Several old train carriages and other recycled buildings have been moved to this site, to make an interesting, comfortable location. It's close to plenty of lovely cafes, distilleries, and family-friendly attractions. I highly recommend the Rare Orchid Distillery for pizza and award-winning gins, and the Glasshouse Mountains Lookout for spectacular views and a pleasant nature walk. Both are just a few minutes drive from the lodge.

Yelp
Go and stay here of you want 3 things in our holidays: 1) Visit Glass House Mountains 2) Visit Australia Zoo 3) want to stay close to 1 and 2 and have a lovely experience bit different to all other Hotel/Motels around? Stay overnight in an old church or an old train wagon? And meet with Keith, who started to build up this ecolodge 30years ago up from an old plantage, planting all the different trees and created this nice place with the "Garden of Eaten" with a guide for all the trees and plants. Never stayed in a place like that, loved it. Thanks Keith

Yelp
What a gem and treasure. If you're considering a visit to Australia Zoo or just traveling through the Glass House Mountains, do your self a favor and visit Keith and the Ecolodge. The property was simply beautiful, filled with native fruit trees and landscapes. Humor abounds everywhere you look. Keith served us one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. His knowledge of the Glass House Mountains is second to none. We were treated with kindness and gracious hospitality. The rooms are clean and efficient, keeping in line with the environmental awareness this motel strives to appreciate. Thank you Keith for a lovely stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer. Your friends from Ann Arbor Michigan USA.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to stay that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city....Brisbane , look no further. 11 rooms. Character rooms include an old church, bungalow with touches of Bali and 2 old restored train carriages. Their standard rooms have Queen size beds and all rooms have their own bathrooms. Some have own kitchens while others can use the kitchen and dining area in an old vintage train wagon. Beautiful grounds including fruit orchard. Situated within walking distance of the National Park walks at Mt. Tibrogargan. Just up the road from Australia Zoo. Crikey!
