Glavas Inn (Gerakini, Halkidiki) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"No need to set sail for one of the islands when Halkidiki is as pleasant as it is. The Glavas Inn stands on a rocky hillside a hundred meters from a spectacular beach, for a commanding view of the Toroneos Gulf. Its rooms and suites, in Greek seaside boutique-hotel style, keep their décor on the minimal side, the better to highlight the seascapes outside; the restaurant terrace and the pool deck, with its al fresco bar, benefit from what might be the finest views in the house. The hotel’s beach club is a must, and the hotel’s activities make the most of its coastal setting." - Tablet Hotels

I’m so impressed with this hotel! The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling – they really make you feel at home. Everything is spotless and well kept, from the lobby to the rooms. The rooms themselves are just like in the pictures: spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The pool area is stunning – so colorful and surrounded by greenery, the perfect place to relax. I was pleasantly surprised by the food as well. For an all-inclusive resort, it’s honestly delicious (much better than I expected!). The beach is very clean, the water is perfect, and you even have markets nearby plus one inside the hotel for extra convenience. A big shoutout to the amazing staff ❤️

Everything was extraordinary. The staff is very well trained, friendly, attentive, true professionals. The property is modern and the decorations of the rooms and main areas are top notch. Very stylish. The food was very well prepared and diverse. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The green areas and the swimming pools very well kept. There is a big jacuzzi as well. A dream location with beautiful views and beach area. You can rent also paddle boards. Thanks to the owners and staff for making this place a corner of heaven. We are coming back in September again.

Wonderful staff with great service and the rooms were awesome. We loved the views from our room and the sunsets were incredible. All staff work hard from dusk till dawn to keep the property extra clean. The gardens and the beach area very well kept. The restaurant provides great views towards the sea and the food was so fresh daily. Everything we tried was spot on delicious. There is a shuttle service twice per week for free to the close by village. We found it really great to provide such a service. We will definitely come back and we will recommend it to our friends.

We stayed at this 3-star all-inclusive hotel and were really disappointed. The drinks were poor quality, even the Coke was just syrup. Food varied, it was like a school cafeteria. Our room had a kettle but no cups, tea, or coffee provided. We were so unhappy that we wanted to leave halfway through our stay and asked about a partial refund, but never got any follow-up, even though staff saw us regularly. When we finally checked out early (a day before), no one asked why or how our stay was. It felt like they just didn’t care. Also, the hotel’s beach charged extra for sunbeds, even though it was supposed to be all-inclusive. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for. We even had to go to the nearby restaurants to eat as the food was not consistent. On a positive note, apart from the receptionist, staff was very nice, and the landscape was nice too. And of course it was spotlessly clean everywhere.

The pictures of the rooms do not match the standard of the rooms at all in reality. No respect to any quests requests or to the chosen room types.|The facilities written non existing.|The aircon made sounds all night in the room.|The superieur doubleroom with a sea view, is a skam, and if that is recommended for 3 persons do not choose it. The extra bed is a simple cot, not a real bed, uncomfortable, causing back aches.|Cleaning everyday and changing linen and towels was fine.|Be aeare the hotel is situated on a high hill very slippery. Walking up the slope is very excausting, if you have knee issues or disable somehow this is  NOT for you.|Me knee craked 3times and my partner and son fell and got injured on the slope. All stairs in the hotel (pool,interieur/exterieur) are wide steps and difficult to clime up, as for the ramp to the poolarea is trap to challenge your balance when it is wet.|I asked to change room due to my kneeissues and got the alternative either pay a tremendous extra amount (for an already overpriced alternative on a 3star hotel charging it as it was a 5star) or to live on the ground floor filled on a room filled with aunts or to be downgraded. |The focus is not custom satisfaction is to drill out as much money from their customers as they can. |The pools are small and contain lot of clorine, that smell and dyies you swimwear yellow. |Overpriced hotel, with a lot extras for examples sunbeds, drinks and  The sea is nice but again far. |There is an elevator but very steep to get there.|No entertainment what so ever during our stay, which was a big need for us.|The all inclusive package was ok, but not fullfilling as other 3star hotels, with fiew choices that easily run out and some products are second quality as for example the so called feta, fruits etc. Same food was served again and again. The dessert was only one type per meal. The water in the Chalkidiki area is not drinkable but they serve tap water to their custumers and if you complain they urge you to buy their overpriced water in their supermarket instead.|You can catch a lovely sunset though.|A week for us is far to much. I really wonder how others could rate it so high.|We felt an arrogant attityde (of the leadership, some stuff) and instead of focusing on beeing friendly their aim was to find ways to reprimand their customers for instant not to dive in the pool, the sitting on the dining area, to wait for them to serve coffee etc.

We stayed at this resort for 5 days as a family of three, including our 18-month-old toddler. The location is ideal for families looking for a peaceful stay — it’s quiet, with easy access to the sea, and no loud music or entertainment disturbing the atmosphere. The resort itself is very clean and well-maintained. We booked a superior family suite, but were disappointed to find there was no door separating our room from the baby’s room. This made evenings a bit difficult, as our daughter is used to sleeping in a dark, separate space. We couldn’t watch TV or relax in the room without risking waking her. There are a few small but appreciated details, like the electric blinds that helped our daughter nap during the bright, hot afternoons, and the well-kept garden right outside our door. There's also a small playground, which was nice, though very limited — older toddlers or kids may get bored quickly. The all-inclusive package left a lot to be desired. It only included wine and beer, both of poor quality. The food, while tasty, had very limited variety — usually just 2 or 3 options. I was hoping for a more diverse selection of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and olives, but those were noticeably lacking. As our toddler is a picky eater, the lack of variety made mealtimes more stressful than they needed to be. Another letdown was the empty fridge in our room — not even a bottle of water provided, which is surprising for a hot country. No coffee or tea either, which is not what you'd expect from an all-inclusive stay. That said, the staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. They followed through on requests quickly and with a smile. Overall, the resort is clean and family-friendly in terms of atmosphere, but the food, drink, and in-room amenities need significant improvement to truly match the "all-inclusive" label.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful, family-friendly hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. The rooms are new and spotless, with modern furniture, comfortable beds, and an absolutely fantastic view. The beach is excellent — it has a long shallow area, which is great for kids, and the water is crystal clear. The hotel is located on a hill, so there is a bit of walking to and from the beach, but it’s not too difficult and definitely worth it. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The value for money is excellent, and we would gladly come back again.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, clean rooms, very attentive. Access to the Aegean Sea, staff very helpful setting up things to do in the area. They pick you up from airport and drop you off. The Service is outstanding. They have a small store on site if you need something quick. The food was amazing, and cooked perfectly. The food changes every day of the week.
