Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast & Luxury Condos

This was our first time staying at a B&B, Laura made are stay so comfortable. Very friendly and made my wife and I fell like it was our home. She is a wonderful cook, the food was wonderful, 5 star breakfast every morning. Very flexible with timing of our breakfast. We could smell the coffee before 7am and ready when we were. I cant say enough about the rooms and cleanliness, spectacular. She is very familiar with the area and can point you to the best spots in the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We will return soon.

Our stay at the Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast was absolutely delightful from start to finish. Laura the manager and chef was simply wonderful - warm, attentive and an excellent communicator. She made us feel welcome from the moment we booked until the moment we arrived. Breakfast was absolutely scrumptious-clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.|Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area--and we'll definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Glen Arbor B&B recently and throughly enjoyed it! Laura, the innkeeper, was welcoming, knowledgeable and the creator of a fabulous warm breakfast! Our room, Inspiration Point, was small but cozy and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great. The bathroom decor was the highlight for me! I loved the wallpaper and design details added to the shower. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time to sit and linger on the lovely front porch!

Our family of 5 stayed at one of the condos at Glen Arbor. It was absolutely fantastic! The accommodations were wonderful, Laura was so helpful, and the location was perfect. It was clean, quiet, with nice bathrooms and a washer/dryer, and right across the street from an IGA / a park / and the beach. It was really great value!|I even forgot some things in one of the drawers, and Laura sent them back to me before I realized that I'd forgotten them. Extremely kind and thoughtful!

We love this little Bed & Breakfast! It’s our home away from home and we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. Rooms are clean and cozy; dining and common spaces are welcoming. It’s quiet but not too quiet, and the location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach, all the shops, and some amazing restaurants. Innkeeper Laura is the star of the Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast. She is the hostess with the mostess. She makes the whole place feel warm and inviting, and makes a KILLER breakfast to boot. We will always always return.

My sister and I just spent a week in beautiful Glen Arbor. We stayed in the North and South Manitou condos and they were beyond comfortable and gorgeous! How fun it was to sit outside in the hammock egg chairs and listen to the music from Boondocks. Or to lay in bed and look at the night sky through the bedroom’s skylight. Or eating every bite of the delicious and decadent pumpkin waffle breakfast made by Laura, our Innkeeper Extraordinaire! Laura is a gem! She’s welcoming, genuine, creative, a magnificent cook and a delightful storyteller. Our stay was most definitely a 10 +++++!

Four older women friends had a truly memorable visit at Glen Arbor B&B. The rooms were beautifully decorated—including the kitchen, living room, and dining room—after a complete renovation last year. Everything is spic-and-span. Laura is welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable; she makes you feel as if you’ve made a new friend. Her breakfast was wonderfully refined and tasty with eggs, juice, biscuit, bread pudding, compote, and more.

A perfect getaway. Laura is a lovely host and sees to every detail. Gourmet breakfast, well appointed rooms, location that is close to everything in Leelanau County. The inn, service, and total atmosphere do not disappoint! We have stayed at GABandB many times over the years and will keep coming back. 5 stars all the way around!

We stayed at the Big Glen Townhome and we rented this with another couple. The house is absolutely phenomenal. It's perfect size and has all of the amenities of home perfect for two couples. When you rent the townhome you have the option on buying breakfast and we did that most days. Let me say the breakfasts were spectacular they were stunning like something you would see in a magazine. The Inn Keeper was Laura and she is amazing. Incredible meals and truly cares about the guests. This experience is a 10/10 and 5 stars doesn't do it justice. I don't have enough good things to say.

We were gifted a three night stay and could not have been happier. The accommodations were perfect, the breakfasts were amazing and Laura (the innkeeper) was exceptional. We have been coming to the Glen Arbor area for more than forty years, yet this was our first stay at this beautiful B&B. We will definitely be returning for another stay at this great location.

The "Breakfast" part of Bed and Breakfast molds my opinion of a place, and this one's pretty good. The pumpkin pecan waffles were nicely crispy and not too sweet; they were made-to-order for each person in a few minutes, and there was a yogurt-and-granola parfait at each place to keep you entertained --- again, nicely not-too-sweet. Coffee starts at 7:30, and breakfast is 8:30 -- 10:00. Our room also worked well --- we got a suite on the ground floor, and enjoyed having a small living room to stretch out in. I also got a quick tour of some of the other rooms --- some are mostly about the bed. Most of the rooms (including the suite) have their own bathrooms; a few of the smaller rooms share bathrooms, which usually works well for us but wasn't what we needed this trip. Innkeeper Katie (and her assistant/husband Jeff) are retiring and training their successor. Katie was quite friendly and helpful; I'll be sorry to see her go. For nights when we're not camping, Glen Arbor B&B will probably be our pick in the area.

We recently booked the entire bed and breakfast for the wedding party for my son's wedding. The accomodations were perfect, the rooms were clean and cottages attached were cozy and quaint. It was great that the wedding party could stay together right in downtown Glen Arbor, it was so convenient to the town and lake. The best part was the inn keeper Laura, she bent over backwards to make everyones stay amazing. Breakfast is included and as a big breakfast fan, it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Laura's cooking is gourmet, creative and delicious. She also catered the bridesmaid brunch which was amazing. Everyone raved about her food. I would highly suggest a stay at Laura's Glenn Arbor Bed and Breakfast!

Our best stop on our Gold Coast trip up to Mackinac and the UP. We took the last suite available (the one opening on the dining room) and it was perfect. The house is charming, clean, perfectly located. And of course, the breakfast will have you come back. Our host was not only the kindest but also the most able cook you may wish. Each morning a different course, always delicious and gracefully presented. A little gem to be kept in your book.

I thoroughly enjoyed the generous hospitality at this lovely bed and breakfast. It was a wonderful way to spend a relaxing time in northern Michigan. It is close to the beach and a good jumping off point for many fun activities. Most importantly, the innkeeper, Laura was not only pleasant and gracious, but presented us every morning with a fabulous and creative breakfast..it was well beyond any expectation.

Very quaint spot in the center of Glen Arbor. Great stay, great breakfast and learned of a new hiking spot...which I will not share.

I've stayed here 3 consecutive summers (for 1 week) in the 1 bedroom cottage. The past 2 years have been marvelously run by the current managers (Katie and Jeff). They are attentive without being intrusive. the cottage is clean and has AC, ceiling fan in bedroom, free Wi-Fi, LCD TV + a daybed in the outer room, and kitchen. The bathroom has been redone and no longer has a musty odor. I would come here again and I highly recommend the place. The location is in the center of Glen Arbor within walking distance of shops and a beach making it well worth the price. Denise and Melissa

So this is the first review I've ever written, but I was so moved to do so because I am obsessed with this place! I went here with my boyfriend, and we had an amazing experience. It was as though you lived at the bed and breakfast because the innkeeper, Laura, was so friendly and helpful. Also did I mention she is pretty much a five star chef. These were some of the best breakfasts I've had in my life. It was so nice. We would basically wake up and then we could eat our breakfast (already prepared when we woke up) wherever we wanted. The first day we had AMAZING waffles and omelettes (sad I didn't get a picture because it was so beautiful). The second day we had english muffin egg sandwiches with a delicious mushroom-summer squash salad with a rhubarb strawberry cake and fresh juice. I am still hypnotized by these breakfasts. Also this bed and breakfast is in the perfect location! You can walk to pretty much everything Glen Arbor has to offer. 1 minute walk to the ice cream shop and restaurants, and the gift shops and bike/kayak rental places were on the same road as the bed and breakfast. We stayed in the count's room, which was the room in the front of the building, but it was still very quiet given that it was right next to the busy road. Insulation is good, and the beds are so comfortable! Prices are so worth it too.

My finance and I stayed 2 nights at the Glen Arbor Bed and Breakfast. Neither of us had been to one before and didn't know what to expect. We stayed in the counts room which had a queen sized bed, sitting chair, and tv with DVD and VHS player. We were tickled when we saw they owned a sizable collection of movies to chose from that we could borrow for free. We watched "When Harry Met Sally" and "Pretty Women". Classics. I was less excited about staying at a place where we would share a bathroom with another room, but it never was an issue. In fact, there was never a line for the bathroom at all and it was clean. The breakfast was out of this world and the innkeeper, Katie, was friendly and informative. We stayed there just a week after the August 2, 2015 storm. She told us to avoid Alligator Hill which wasn't passable, but that everything else was pretty much back to normal. Well worth the visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay at the Glen Arbor B & B. Katie and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Katie went beyond the call loaning me a long sleeve shirt when I realized that I hadn't packed anything warm! My room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfasts were delicious. I couldn't ask for anything more. Can't to return with my husband for a longer stay.
