Glen Clova Hotel & Lodges

Just incredible! Highly recommend this place. We stayed in one of the lodges - it was 10/10. We also had dinner and drinks in the hotel - also 10/10. Great value, great service, great place. These guys are doing an amazing job here, I will be coming back.

Well what can I say...we stayed in the gorgeous suite in the glen clova hotel. It was amazing, the views are ti due for we loved lying in bed looking out at the hills. The bed was super ingsize and super comfy and we both slept so well. We had lunch and evening meal in the bar and the food was soon good. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the surroundings were so authentic countryside...loved the pheasant and venison served. We will be back very soon and this time have a hillwalking too..perfect night away highly recommend.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in the lodges at Glen Clova. Loved it again. Cosy and comfortable. Views are stunning. Plenty hillwalking to do from the lodge. Had a great meal at the hotel too. Will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at the Glen Clova Hotel. I arrived about an hour and a half later than I had planned but this was no problem to the team, Luke welcomed me and put me at my ease right away. My room was well laid out with quality furniture and the en-suite shower room was well appointed, the whole place was pristine. ||The Glen Clova Hotel is ideally situated for recharging your battery and getting a dose of country air. Nothing is too much trouble for the team who are all professional, caring, and above all welcoming. ||This was my third visit and I’m looking forward to returning again and again.

I was taken to the hotel wet through after an aborted walk in the glen when storm Ami arrived. The kindness shown to me by the staff was second to none.|They could not have been more helpful or understanding and I was very grateful to be able to sit by the fire until my husband arrived several hours later.|I was offered refreshments and they kept a meal warm for us as the kitchen had closed by the time he got there.|Storm Ami could have given me some pretty bad memories but the welcome of the hotel staff and their neighbours Ian and Melanie, who took me there, have given me warm and pleasant memories of the glen. Stunning setting for a get away from it all break. Stayed in Wallace lodge, was fabulous! Sauna & hot tub spot on. Hotel was very friendly & welcoming in particular Jenny who was sadly leaving (good luck!) Excellent walks in area. Highly recommend

Second time staying in Brandy Burn Cottage. Love the atmosphere, views and comfort. A fantastic place to spend a week with the kids and dog. Lovely pub on the doorstep for ales, hot chocs and meals!

We had a wonderful stay. Lovely clean and warm room with tasty home cooked food for all meals. The staff were super kind and friendly. Highly recommend.

A superb location in the most spectacular of the angus glens, and one of the finest areas of the scottish highlands. It's the perfect point to start good walks of any type, depending on your ability. But it doesn't take any walking skills to reach the stunning lakes up the mountains and admire the spectacular views. However, the hotel itself is not as special The food is not that amazing, but it's quite expensive. The manager can often make guests feel uncomfortable as she is often on the edge because of stress. Do not expect to be mollycuddled! I would rather recommend people to spend the evening here, or to have a break from the walks drinking something in the afternoon, but not more.

I like the Glen Clova hotel for its situation and wonderful log fires. The food is fairly reasonable but the vegetables slightly over done at times. However still enjoyable and good for a night out. The staff are very friendly and drinks fairly priced for a hotel. Afternoon tea is very nice with a great choice of teas and comfortable sofas with free wifi. There are many beautiful walks near to the hotel and it is well worth a visit in the evening or during the day. As a local I have been tempted to try a weekend in their log cabins which provide a private sauna and hot tub.

I decided to treat my lovely mum for her birthday to a stay and dinner at the Glen Clova hotel. I have been trying for years to get her there as I knew she would love it. After a lovely day hiking we checked in to our lovely twin room. Bathroom was huge and a lovely hot bath was just what the dr ordered. Dinner was amazing and hot. My mum is one of the fussiest eaters I have ever met and even she could not find a fault. In the morning the breakfast room was full but the way the lady handled the situation was excellent. We were placed in the dining room which we were much happier with anyway as nicer views and quieter. Breakfast again was amazing. Have been to Glen Clova loads and nice to have my mum agree that it is really a lovely place to visit whether for a drink after a days hike or for a stay.
