Glen House - Holiday Home

My review also only pertains to the tea room/ice cream shop as well. We would have enjoyed some ice cream today, but they were closed slightly after lunch time with no sign whatsoever of any hours of operation. There was a doorbell on the building, but that did not appear to do much of anything. Next closest spot for real ice cream was some 30km away. Oh well, none for us I guess. To the proprietors; a wee sign with the hours and season you’re open would be helpful. Perhaps also consider a second Google entry for the tea and ice cream shop listing the hours. Also, may I suggest considering asking the guests to not smoke out in the courtyard where handicapped (or any other type) patrons might enjoy breathing fresh air? I know that you’ve little control over others actions, but those ladies that stated they were “living” in the guest house today were quite rude. Many thanks for the restroom, however. That bit of kindness was much appreciated. Extra star for that.

Review pertains to the craft shop/tea room only . Unfortunately service was slow with multiple orders taken at a time, then half an hour to fulfill two drinks or one ice cream cone or tub. Unfortunately a negative experience for us and would not stop again as never had such slow take away drinks/ice cream before.

We hired the house from Sonia for 6 nights what a fantastic house and host. The rooms and house were spotless and a very warm and cozy house. The location is ideal with the beach right beside us and local village also. Beautiful walk up to the waterfall, I would highly recommend this house and Sonia was a wonderful host.

The Glen house is Stunning. The staff are super helpful and very friendly. There were 8 of us for afternoon tea. The sandwiches and scones were so fresh. I highly recommend this place.

Yes the fountain that never stops flowing!! As the sea water is pumped back up! As the world is flat and the orange order and freemasons have hidden this fact ;) nice icecream too ;)

Without a doubt the most lovingly kept B&B I have ever been to. From start to finish everything is designed to make you feel right at home. Add to this the location that makes it ideal for a roundtrip of the peninsula, and you get a B&B that must be one of its kind.

We just used the car park, walked to waterfall then walked over the tops including top of Raghtin More, (huge cairn/windbreak) then down to Mamore car park. Mostly on a good path.

They provided excellent bathrooms available to walkers going to visit the waterfall. Very charming gift shop and friendly horses 👍
