Thanks Mark for an amazing day! We went on the 9 hour trip and honestly I had that much fun I could have gladly stayed out there for another 9 hours. I’ve never lost count of the amount of fish I’ve caught on a day ever prior today! Mark was friendly, professional, was happy to bait up for me & provided some good tips! Super professional, friendly bloke! Shame we couldn’t take home our snappers due to the ban but honestly it was just wonderful being out on the water; pulling in so may snapper, a few mackerel, a few rock cods and whiting! Wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone that was looking to book in!

I sent my husband and 5 friends on a fishing charter with this business today. Unfortunately nothing was caught but they had a great morning. Thank you Mark for all your help helping me organise this for hubby's 60th.

Was a long day but worth it for the condition we had. Definitely worth giving these guys a go even though there are reviews saying unprofessional, all I can say is some people expect to much. Most slippers are rough but hey that’s what makes the fishing experience enjoyable. Just remember they do great trips out of Marion Bay as well.

My dad had the best time in Australia going for a fishing trip with Glenelg fishing charter! They are very professional and helpful! Would highly recommend!

Went on my 4th charter 13/10/24 first 3 were absolute failures with skippers only interested in the money. This one was dodge tide, dumbos bringing bananas and with everything like that against us full marks to the both Marks for getting us on the fish and forgiving banana boy. Was an enjoyable morning, with plenty of action. Would certainly recoment these two skippers.

I’ve been on plenty of fishing charters but this was the worst by far. The guide got upset when lines got tangled or hooks got caught (pretty common when fishing), somehow expecting everyone onboard to be experts. It was a bit humiliating for some of the customers. The fishing equipment was really cheap and basic and broke easily. Didn’t offer to change baits for customers which is usually standard for charters. Also refused to clean the fish at the end which was really surprising. He couldn’t even suggest how or where we could do it ourselves. Cleaning’s a standard feature for the charters I’ve been on and if it’s not offered the guide usually make that really clear. It was not mentioned until we returned and unfortunately meant a bucket of dead fish had to be put in the garbage. Disappointing stuff really.

We did the tuna charter, originally we were told it would depart from cape jervis so we organized accomodation in cape jervis, then when we called up to confirm they advised it was now leaving from wirrina. This would have saved us over an hour of driving. Anyway we rocked up to the charter, the crew were quite nice. It was obvious from what they were saying that they don't do the tuna charter very often. We trawled all day and caught nothing (which can happen) we then did some reef fishing for an hour or so and caught a few little snapper and a gummy shark. They stayed out later than planned so we could catch a few more fish. When we got back to the pub for a beer another charter group had bagged out on snapper in the first hour and got on to a huge school of tuna.... I think my advice would be if you want to do a tuna charter use one of the local charter companies that fish those waters more
