Google
Great whisky tasting and distillery tour. The grounds were clean and well looked after, the building we tasted the whisky in had a beautiful view of the water out the back, and our tour guide Diane was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Would highly recommend.

We took the malt masters experience and our host was Devin. He was so pleasant and took the time to show us around the distillery answering any questions we had easily. He then took us up to the main house for a blending experience which was great fun. We felt we learned so much about Whisky from our visit. The whole site is so clean and tidy, even the loos are lovely. We visited the shop after our tour and were met by yet more friendly staff. Just can’t sing their praises high enough. We really did enjoy our visit so much and are planning on returning with family and friends. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the Malt Master experience and it was just superb. Our guide was fantastic, the venue was awesome, the tour held our interest from start to finish and then to blend your own bottle of whiskey to take home was just the best ever. We did this for our friends birthday and he ended up in the shop treating himself to some of the ‘Good stuff’ to take home as well as his own blend. Absolutely no hesitation what so ever in recommending Glengoyne as a gift or a test to yourself. But you do need to book a taxi so you can really enjoy the delights. Cheers

My partner and I did the chocolate and whisky tasting/tour together. Which was absolutely brilliant. We were very lucky to be the only people on the tour. The tour guide (John) was so incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and warming, he really made the experience. My partner prior to this experience has not had much interest in whisky, which is why we did the tour with chocolates. I would fully recommend this if you have someone who is not so excited by the spirit, the chocolates alone are worth the trip. However, the whisky was so good I believe she is now a convert, much to my glee.

One of the highlights in Glasgow for you to check out if it’s your first time in Glasgow! A lovely distillery with tour choices according to how much you want to spend. During the tour, you get to learn about the process of making the whiskey and the history behind it. There’s even a tasting at the end. Behind the distillery, there’s a nice small waterfall that adds to the atmosphere of the place.

Visited @Glengoyne Distillery and it was an unforgettable experience! From learning about Scotland’s slowest stills to tasting exceptional whiskies paired with divine truffles, every moment was a treat. The passion for craftsmanship truly shines through. Highly recommend!

Google
Visited for the tour and then tasting with chocolate experience and loved every minute. Our guide Diane was so knowledgeable, friendly and made sure everyone of the tour felt included. The whisky and chocolate tasting was a lovely experience. The White Oak whisky was my favourite. The chocolates are made near Pitlochry so great to see two Scottish businesses working together. Highly recommend visiting and easy to get to from Glasgow via bus as well.

The staff were real friendly and very knowledgeable I really enjoyed the tour and whisky tastings.. The whisky was fabulous especially the 15 year old.. The distillery was so big and clean and well maintained the shop had some really good gifts to buy. Thanks Glengoyne staff we really enjoyed the tour

Yelp
Our fourth and final distillery stop before heading to Stirling Castle--and what a way to wrap up our Scottish whiskey journey! Unlike the larger highland distilleries we visited before, this one had a cozy, lowland charm that made it stand out. My partner skipped the tour but went straight for the good stuff--a 25-year-old dram that he absolutely savored. At this point, picking a favorite Scottish whiskey felt impossible--each had its own character, and he loved them all for different reasons. This trip gave us such an appreciation for Scotland's whiskey craft, and we're so glad we took the time to explore and taste our way through these incredible distilleries. Cheers to a trip well spent!

Yelp
We had a magical afternoon at Glengoyne. The tour done by Arthur was nothing short of amazing. His passion for the distillation was obvious and he was a joy to be around. We then did the "fine and rare" tasting with Kathy and WOW. Some of the best scotch weve had since we landed. A stunning 25 and 30 year and a selection of another. We purchased a bottle of the 25 in the shop and the attendants were so helpful. Beautiful place (check out the waterfall!) and thier commitment to sustainability is truly admirable.

Yelp
This is one of the best Distillery tours I've gone on. The facility is clean and well kept. The tour started with the history of Glengoyne and then we walked over to the distilling area to see where the barley is married with the yeast and fermented as well as where the whisky is distilled. It was interesting getting to see some of the barrels that are currently aging Whisky. Some of this barrels are older than me! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions that would arise during the tour. We ended the tour with a whisky tasting. The whisky was delicious and smooth and would definitely be worth picking up a bottle while in Scotland.

Yelp
I've been to Glengoyne a few times now and it's a really pleasant little distillery. It sits against a beautiful backdrop of green hills and mountains and the views are really quite breathtaking. We've done the Wee Tasting Tour which starts with a dram of their 12 year old whisky while watching a video about the company. Next, you get to take a physical tour of the grounds (there's a wee waterfall and hidden glen!) over to check out the building that houses the mash tuns and washbacks (get ready for some amazing smells), before stopping at the the naturally cool stone warehouse where the maturation takes place. And, finally, you end with another dram, this time of the 18 year old whisky, while perusing the gift shop. Glengoyne has six guiding principles to "keep them true to their past, true to their taste": unpeated (which means there's no smoky flavor), patience (they have the slowest whisky stills in all of Scotland), the use of sherry oak casks, maturation, natural color (the whisky takes on the copper tones naturally from the wood of the oak), and tradition (like air drying their barley). The passion from every person who works here is clear, and their dedication to preservation of their history is admirable. I will forever be thankful I've had the opportunity to be a tiny part of the Glengoyne Distillery story.

Yelp
They are opened 7 days a week from 1000-1700. They do tours on the hour. 38 lbs for two. Lasts about 45 minute. Includes 2 pours. A 12 year and 18 yr whiskey and a discount in the shop.

Yelp
Great distillery, one of many I've been to on my trip. I've learn the difference and know tons about whiskey now. The young lady who gave the tour was knowledgeable, a whiskey lover and was gorgeous.

Yelp
So I am watching a Scottish sitcom called "Still Game" on Netflix and in one episode, the lads go to visit Glencoyne Distillery. I remembered going there on my trip to Scotland so I wanted to see how I reviewed it and found that I never wrote a review! I swear sometimes I am certain I have written a review for a place but then it is nowhere to be found. Anyway, I found the pictures I posted so I will add this belated review. We did this as part of a Rabbie's tour and it was so nice. The setting is bucolic and you start out near a millpond where you are given an overview of the tour before being led to the distillery buildings. If you have had a distillery or brewery tour before, you will hear a lot of the same things but it is still interesting. You get so see some casks being aged, learn about blending and get to understand why the good stuff is always the old (and expensive) stuff. There are tastings at the end and you have the opportunity to buy some whiskey to take home. I found this a charming and delightful way to spend a couple of hours and highly recommend it.

Yelp
Glengoyne is the first distillery stop on Rabbie's Scottish Whisky tasing tour. This visit was a treat since I've been enjoying their Scotch now for a few years although it is hard to find in the US & Duty Free shops. The grounds are scenic with a pond & mini waterfall in the back. The tour itself was informative with an engaging guide. Interesting to hear the history & about the Angel's share & the maturity/pricing process to name a few. The smelling of the yeast & clearing of your nasal passages is an experience! We got two tastings. Normally 12 and 18 years but we got lucky and got a 15 year tasting (Since they were out of 12). A nice gift shop, although compared to other distilleries, they didn't have any other opportunities to sample some of the varieties you might want to buy. One of my favorite single malts & so good to visit! Whether you visit via Rabbie's or on your own, well worth it!

Yelp
Highly recommend to visit the Glengoyne Distillery. This is an excellent choice: not far from Glasgow (you can reach it by normal bus from city centre), nice place around to walk and of course taste amazing whiskey and learn how it is procured. My wife gave me "The Gold Medal Parade" tour which includes tasing of 12th, 19th and 21th years old single malt whiskey. I was fully satisfied by the tour. Friendly staff that explained everything and answered all questions. You have ability to taste the 12th old whiskey at the beginning of session. Then you have a normal excursion that ends in the shop. However, "The Gold Medal Parade" also includes visiting the "manager hours" where a manager of the distillery lived in past times. Here you can sit, relax. Enjoy by 19th and 21th Gold medal winner whiskey. I visited the Glengoyne Distillery during the "silent season" when production process is stopped, so we were able to how everything looks inside, however you are not allowed to make photo/video on production line.

Yelp
We did this as part of a Rabbie's tour and really enjoyed ourselves. Gavin was knowledgeable and sincere. The distillery is very authentic with aged equipment. The lack of peat in the flavor made it delicious!

Yelp
Very first class operation of superb whiskey. Tour is fantastic.

Yelp
Glengoyne Distillery might just be the most picturesque and accessible whisky distillery in Scotland. It also sells my favourite whisky, the Glengoyne 21 year old (although be warned it is £105 a bottle). The distillery itself is set in a wonderful location overlooking the glen of Goyne hence its name. Often used in photos, movies and videos of a "typical" distillery, you'll feel like you recognise it when you arrive. Tours run pretty much on the hour every day in high season although you should probably check this in winter. The car park is on the lowland side of the road which involves crossing a 60mph road to get to the distillery itself. So if you've gone for an extensive tour take great care crossing the road. Tours start at £9 and last from 45 minutes with the more expensive tours including more exclusive tastings of whisky and perhaps more behind the scenes access. If you only visit one distillery in Scotland you could do a lot worse than Glengoyne!

Yelp
Really nice distillery. Our visit was part of a Rabbie's day tour. We were a touch late arriving due to a traffic re-route but we were graciously greeted and our tour began. Gavin was a very knowledgeable and able leader. We opted for the Wee Tasting Tour which afforded us a sample for f the 12-year-old scotch at the outset. We sipped it as we watched a video about the distillery and process. We then toured the spotless facility. At the close of the tour we sampled an 18-year-old scotch. Nice scotch, no peat used at Glengoyne so very smooth and drinkable. A lovely setting and a great way to spend an hour or two.

Yelp
There are lots of distilleries to choose from, and Glengoyne was recommended highly by a friend. There's a bus there from Glasgow city center, but we opted to rent a car and venture out there. Parking is easy in the lot across from the distillery, and once you're out of the city, the drive isn't bad. We ended up doing the No 1 Warehouse tour, which was £80/person, but it ended up being a private tour for us, which was pretty cool. We met our guide, Ally, in the shop. We started off with an introductory video in a private room with a generous pour of their cask strength whisky, which is super smooth despite the alcohol content. We then went on a tour of the production, seeing everything from the mash tun to stages of the yeast at work to how things are distilled. It was very educational, and I wish I had been able to take notes. We then moved into the room with a bunch of the casks to learn the difference between American vs European oak and the effect on the color of the whisky, the use of bourbon vs sherry casks, etc. We then got to go into the warehouse to try two from the barrel - a 1997 bourbon cask version and a 2004 sherry cask version. You get to draw your own pour straight out of the barrel. We then went to the private club room in the main house to taste and choose which one we wanted to bottle up. I opted for the bourbon cask one, and you get to go back and bottle your own 200 ml bottle. I also learned that the dividing line between highland and lowland is the road they are on (A81), so the parking lot is on the lowland side, but the whisky is actually made on the highland side. It was super educational for me, and you get a very generous amount of alcohol. In the shop, we also bottled our own cask strength recent release, and they have lots of nice gift options. I also got to try the 15 year, 18 year, and 21 year there. Note: you can get a discount in the shop if you paid for a tour. It's a scenic drive out there and a gorgeous setting, and they have a waterfall in the back of the distillery, where the water for the scotch comes from. I would definitely recommend venturing out of Glasgow for this.

Yelp
This was a great tour! The guides were all very interesting and kept the tour very light and fun. Really liked that this Distillery kept things simple as they had since its founding. Using a grinder made in early 1900s and not much computerization at all. The guide even gave us a small sample of the 21 Year Scotch.....best thing ever!!!! If you have a chance check this place out you will not regret it!

Yelp
I'm really not much of a whisky drinker - I find the smoky flavour a bit harsh - but I had a really great time visiting the Glengoyne Distillery and going on the distillery tour. It's in a really beautiful place and the distillery buildings only serve to enhance that. Dumgoyne is a very picturesque part of Scotland and a lot of the other visitors to the distillery were clearly on walking holidays or trips. They don't seem to mind one bit when folk turn up in hiking gear, so if you're planning a walk in the area I reckon this would make a great pit stop. We bought tour tickets for £11 each which included the tour itself and two tasters of whisky; one of the 12 year old and one of the 18 year old. The 18 is probably supposed to be the better one (it's certainly the more expensive) but I preferred the 12. I was also delighted to learn that Glengoyne don't use peat in making their whisky, which meant that those smoky flavours I don't get on with are totally absent. The flavour is almost entirely derived from ageing the whisky in oak sherry casks. The tour was very interesting and quite similar to tours I've done of breweries, although it obviously diverges after a point. It was cool to see all the different processes involved, as well as to see what a difference ageing makes - they have a display showing the whisky after each year of ageing. It's pretty impressive. I'm still not a whisky drinker but at least now I know I like Glengoyne 12 year old and I'm definitely going to go visit a few more distilleries after having had such a good time at this one. Seems a shame to live in Scotland and to not try them.
google avatar

Yelp
I highly recommend visiting this distillery if you can't make it to the Highlands! Also take the Gold Metal Parade tour; it is more expensive but well worth the whiskey tasting you get at the end! Glengoyne is great because it does a great job of explaining the whiskey process in one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries. You get a taste of history and great whisky! If you are visiting the "Glasgow area" and looking for a distillery tour, this is the one to hit. The staff is friendly, the whiskey tastes good, and the drive out to Glengoyne is lovely. Make sure to visit the wee waterfall in the back of the distillery.

Yelp
Nestled among picturesque, sheep-filled hills is Glengoyne. It is a small, working distillery that offers a range of tours and classes for the discerning whiskey connoisseur to the much less discerning, much like myself. Prior to coming here, when touring Jameson's, I was warned that the Scots would try to lay claim over whiskey (after all, many know it as Scotch) even though the term comes from Irish Gaelic "uisce beatha" which means water of life. Irish monks invented this lordly libation. Yet soon after paying entrance fees, we were told by our guide, John that although the Irish invented whiskey, the Scots perfected it. It is known as Scotch, afterall. It was a great start to a great tour. Given the many options, I selected the Tasting Tour. This came with an intro video viewing, a full guided tour, and a sampling of a 10 year old and 12 year old whiskey. We also sampled older blends, 17 and 21 year olds. The video was brief and a little-overly Hollywood. It featured a Rob Roy-character who was tall (rather than stocky) and raven-haired (rather than roy, ahem, ginger-haired) and who was somehow related to modern-day whiskey making. Eagles also factored heavily. Thankfully, it was brief and didn't detain us long from the tour and was all so much easier to "swallow" with the free dram of life-water provided. The grounds were simple and graceful. There is a small waterfall and lake that provides enough water to cool machinery when needed. Next we walked through the distillery, the blending rooms, and then to the warehouses. Glengoyne's greatest asset is how personable the tour is, thanks to its small size. John answered all of our questions and would offer more information based upon and relevant to our respective geographies. The tour ends, as most do, in the gift shop. There everything that you could imagine is sold (such as hand soap, fudge, and adorable highland cows). Most importantly, they poured our samples of older whiskeys at the shop. Glengoyne whiskey is a smooth and unpeated (non-smokey). The older versions tasted decidedly less like burning than did their younger siblings. If you haven't noticed, I don't actually like they liquid and so, am a horrible judge. But, I disliked it much less than I have others that I sampled. Five stars!

Yelp
I don't have enough good things to say about this place! When visiting Scotland, one of the major to-dos was to visit a scotch distillery. When we visited, we knew we wanted to try highland scotch and we chose Glengoyne because of it's close proximity to Glasgow. We ended up doing the Malt Master tour, a two and a half hour long tour that culminates in you making your own 15-year blended scotch. The tour guide was friendly and very informative. The location is absolutely stunning (I have a lot of pictures in the link below). We took a taxi out there and rode the bus back. The bus stop is conveniently right in front of the distillery. I would recommend this place to anyone who has the time. We brought back several bottles with us and now this is my father's favorite scotch! http://thecolorfulcardinal.blogspot.com/2016/06/if-its-not-scottish-its-crap.html

Yelp
I'm not a whisky expert and am not too fond of it however my better half is. Since this was his first trip abroad I found Glengoyne online and booked a tour. They were prompt to reply to my questions and assisting with directions to their location. After a few weeks of anticipation we made it to the distillery. What a fun ride on the bus and a gorgeous location when we arrived. Our Malt Master Class was hosted by Joanne. She was full of knowledge and such a pleasure to work with. I appreciated her expertise and actually found a whisky I like. Joanne was helpful in the chemistry room and also very funny. I highly recommend her and Glengoyne for anyone wanting to learn or even that claims to be knowledgeable. Jason even said this was the best part of our trip.

Yelp
Beautiful, historic, authentic, and single malt quality Highland whiskey. This is an excellent choice for a distillery tour as it is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and has its own water source, a gorgeous waterfall and pool. Highly recommend tour features two drams of whiskey for tasting, the last being their 18 yr single malt. David gave a thorough tour explaining the entire process, very interesting and a great way to end a day of touring the Highlands.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Very pretty location . Our guide was well versed. We did the gold medal tour and our tastings were generous. You get a discount on your purchase with the ticket price. The tour was one of the shorter distillery tours I. E done but it was still nice enough.

Yelp
Ok...yes, this is the first Scotch distillery that I have visited...so I can't compare yet. However, their 25 year old single malt is awesome! Beautiful setting right at the highlands/ lowlands border ( their distillery is on the highlands side, their warehouse is on the lowlands side. I bought over $1000 pound sterling of scotch for the house bar. Best part: filled my own bottle of 13 year old single malt and capped, labeled, and boxed. Their staff was very friendly. Only bad part...they were out of 35 year old and I'm two weeks too early for their release of 30 year old. Gives me a reason to come back!

Yelp
For the folks of Glasgow - this place is one of the two of the easily accessible places that you can see the process of whisky production. Just North of Glasgow on the way to the Trossachs, it is not a difficult trip if you have transport out of the city. It is a lovely trip just geting there. Nice meandering roads traversing the Scottish countryside. There are a wide variety of tours available lasting from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I have always found the guides well informed and open to questions. The shop has a decent selection of stock as well all of the Whisky themed items that normally fill these places. If you have not been - then go. If you have folks arriving from foreign shores to Glasgow - this is an excellent place to take them

Yelp
This was one of the stops of the Highland Tour and we fell in love with their scotch. The whole experience was very neat. You have a guide and they take you through the process of making Glengoyne Scotch Whisky. We learned a lot about how it is made and we got to taste it too. Plus the grounds are gorgeous, Scotland is such a beautiful country, even with the rain.... in fact, the rain makes it even more quaint.

Yelp
This little distillery right on the edge of the highlands is the perfect little side trip from Glasgow or Loch Lomond (and maybe a few other places, but geographically that's what I can attest to). They have tours on the hour from 10am - 4pm daily. You can choose whether you just want the single dram included or upgrade to taste some other malts. The tour starts with your first dram (the 10-year-old) and a somewhat cheesy video. But then you get into the guided portion of the tour, which is informative and interesting. It ends in the gift shop, where you additional drams, if you opted for them, will be waiting. The staff are chatty and upbeat, and all in all the whole tour is utterly charming. I'd say the overall experience is more than the sum of its parts. The setting is beautiful, the tour is interesting, and the whisky, I think, favors the novice. The barley is not dried by smoking and is aged in old sherry casks, so it has a gentler, fruitier taste than some more well known, smokier-tasting heavy hitters. A trip to Glengoyne is an inexpensive, fun and lovely wee experience for the tourist or the day-tripping native.

Yelp
Touring the Glengoyne Whiskey Distillery is an amazing experience. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable. Tasting the whiskey, smelling the barrels and walking through the distillery gives you a rich history of Scotland. If you like whiskey it's just a bonus.

Yelp
Enjoyed tasting their whiskey and the fun yet informative tour. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This is the most beautiful single malt whiskey distillery in Scotland and I should know as I have visited almost all of them. It is a small distillery located just 13 miles north of Glasgow and 53.5 miles from Edinburgh. Their whiskey is the best tasting single malt I've ever tasted and very well priced. Just tasted their 250/9 and the Tea Dram and they are both very unique and exquisite. When you visit the distillery make sure to do the tasting tour.

Chrisje F.

Yelp
Visited this distillery with local friends. Lovely surroundings and distillery. Signed on for a tasting tour. Found the video about the distillery interesting. The tour, however, left a lot to be desired. Our group was big- 18 persons- and we could not hear the guide speaking at all. The group was too big and the areas were noisy as well, which didn't help. Having missed what the guide was saying in the first area of the tour, we were unable to follow the consequent steps in the whiskey-making process. We were rushed through each area of the tour and at one stage were 3 tour groups in one area. Getting to the shop where we could do the next tasting, we were hurried along by the tour guide of the group behind us, and just told to move aside please. Very disappointing tour.

Yelp
We missed out on a distillery tour in Inverness as it was not open on Sundays so we really wanted to make sure we visited one on the last leg of our holiday when we hit Glasgow. We had such a great tour with Arthur, one of the Glengoyne guides that I am glad the other tour did not work out. You can catch the C10 bus from Glasgow and it's about a 50 minute ride to Glengoyne through the 'burbs and out into the countryside. They have a nice selection of tours that are all based on how many of their fine malts you would like to taste. We happen to be there on a weekday right when they opened so there was only 4 of us in the tour. But I got the impression that there are no set times for tours, they will set people up with a guide as they come in. All tours start out with a wee dram of their 12 year old whiskey that you can enjoy while watching a video history of the distillery. Then you get a tour of the distillery and learn the distilling process used to make Glengoyne one of the best award winning single malts in the world!! Arthur was wonderful at explaining all the processes and answered all our questions. Then at the end of the distillery tour since we had purchased the Gold Metal tour tasting ( the other couple had not) Arthur took us up to a private tasting room and had the other 3 drams of whiskey set out for us ( 18, 21 year and cask strength: 58.7% alcohol) and proceed to explain to us the different flavor to expect with each one and showed us how even 3 drips of water will change the taste. It was fascinating!! We also each got Glengoyne dram glass with this tour and you get discounts in the store if you purchase something and have been on a tour.

N C.

Yelp
Glengoyne's definitely one of the better distilleries in Scotland from the visitor's point of view - great friendly, people, close to Glasgow, a decent tour (well a few actually) and none of the hard sell that you usually get.

Colleen H.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with the staff and facilities of the distillery. I took part in the gold medal parade. Gordon was an amazing guide who had answers to all my questions regarding whiskey. At the shop, the "shop mommy" (can't remember her name-sorry) was so kind and provided additional recommendations for other places to visit in Glasgow. Please go and visit them. They are lovely and the whiskey will make you smile from ear to ear. Cheers!!

Yelp
Like all good Scots (!) I've been to lots of distilleries around the country - the stereotype is very true! Glengoyne is located not far from Glasgow and Stirling so it's one of the most accessible if you're in the central belt of the country and don't have the time to travel to Speyside or the Islands. They say it's the most beautiful distillery in Scotland and they're not far off. It's nestled into a valley and feels very self-enclosed. The site isn't huge so there isn't far to walk to get around, and you really feel like you're seeing the 'real' place, rather than just a visitor centre that bears no resemblance to where they actually make whisky. I went for the standard tour and it was excellent - I wouldn't have minded paying a bit more to be able to try a couple of the older whiskies - fine as long as you're not driving! So, if you're around Glasgow or Loch Lomond and looking for something to do, I'd really recommend it.

Alright, overall I loved it here....with one caveat which I'll get to at the end. I had the day to spend in Glasgow and it was my first day exploring. Of course, I want to go to a true Scotch distillery! This one just happened to be not very far from Glasgow and accessible by bus (they actually drop off right in front of the distillery). Win-win. The grounds are beautiful as are the facilities. I ended up buying the Gold Medal Tour which, for the money, is 100% worth it (Mind you my n for Scotch whiskey tours is 1). When you first start the tour, they give you a dram of the 12 year while you watch a video then you tour, which takes about 40 mins. You (of course) end up in the gift shop to conclude the tour. Those who bought the "Wee Tasting" tour got a second dram of 18 year at this point. Two other guests and myself were then ushered to a private room for our Gold Medal Tasting. We sampled the 18yr and the 21yr here while we chatted. Both were excellent and it was good times. You are then ushered back to the gift shop (of course) for the final tasting, which is cask strength (Tasty but a bit strong for my tastes). Excellent. Now, my caveats. I claim a bit of Scotch ignorance. I once bought a bottle of Glenmorangie as a starter scotch and never really moved past it. I always put a bit of water in mine to open it up. I did this in the private tasting and I felt a bit looked down upon for it...like the dynamic of the tour changed. This happened again when I asked the question of why one might choose a cask strength whiskey over the others (besides a higher alcohol content). Kind of minor stuff but it adds a bit of regret to what otherwise would have been a 5-star experience for me. I would still recommend this as an excellent day trip for those in Glasgow.
