Glenisla Hotel

Since it is ski season, its prominent feature is its proximity to the ski resort. A place where you can stop by for a night's accommodation or while passing through. The rooms are meticulously designed and it is a place where you can organize a romantic party with your friends or acquaintances. Before you go, you can call and ask whatever is on your mind and whatever you want.

I'm so glad my friend told me about this hidden gem. Delightfully it embodies the rare and cosy combination of top spec accommodation and a proper, locally frequented inn and eatery. Who wouldn't want to enjoy a drink, snack or meal next to a roaring fire?! The friends and neighbours of kirkton of Glenisla love this historical inn... and it shows. ||Even at this quite time of year there is always a member of staff available to help in any way. And each and every staff member made you feel as if they were welcoming you into their own home. ||I wish I'd had longer to explore the beautiful walks in the immediate and surrounding areas, so I'll look forward to going back to the Glenisla Hotel for that!

Clean, comfortable room. Pleasant public areas with welcoming warm fires; cozy, popular bar (lacking real ale but tasty Ossian smooth flow as substitute). Excellent food in restaurant on Friday night. Very friendly, happy service from all staff. a great base to explore Glen Isla and beyond.

The most gorgeous little place! Beautiful views, lovely clean room, lots of snacks and breakfast food available.|The staff were so lovely and the food at the restaurant was lush, with such good January deals on! So many gorgeous walks just a short walk from the hotel and a short drive from Glenshee, would definitely stay here again!

It's in a fabulous location with a lot of local information on walks etc.. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was very good. Especially on Wednesday night which is pie night. The pies were delicous and homemade.|I've only eaten there once so unable to comment further but I would love to visit again

Lovely place, nice views, wonderful staff and food|Restaurant has nice atmosphere and the food was superb.|Bar is welcoming|Bedrooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Bed and pillows good. Breakfast supplied was good - porridge pots, juice and snack, with more choices available downstairs if required.|All-in all a nice set up|Would definitely re-visit

I didn’t stay in the hotel, I came for dinner and a drink. I stayed in Glen Ilsa and walked here on the Wednesday, I had nachos to start and lasagne for main. Both were really nice, and the portions were huge. The welcome and service I received was 10/10, and the place itself is super cosy. They have live music on Wednesdays, this made the evening even better. Would highly recommend.

First class short New Year break . Comfortable rooms, great food and friendly staff. The Hotel is well run , warm and has interesting features . Good centre for Hillwalking and wildlife , good walks available from Hotel door . The staff go out of their way to look after you and enjoy giving advice and local knowledge . Very good choice and quality of food available

The restaurant and the hotel were wonderful. Very friendly staff :) We told them in advanced that we were vegan and they accommodate us by adding 6(!) menu options for dinner as well as a vegan breakfast. The room was modern, comfortable and very clean.
