I must admit, the line at Glitch Coffee was wild! I queued for almost two hours in the light drizzle, but honestly, it turned out to be such a memorable experience.
If you’re into specialty or third-wave coffee, Glitch is absolutely worth the wait. You can really feel the passion behind their craft, from the careful bean selection to the precise brewing process. Their menu features a great range of Geisha beans and some fascinating experimental-process varieties, perfect for coffee enthusiasts who love exploring unique flavors.
Even though the staff were incredibly busy, they still found time to answer my (many!) questions about the beans with patience and detail. I ordered the Sky Project Ethiopia Tamiru Tadesse, which turned out to be wonderfully sweet and well-balanced. My husband tried the Geisha Finca Nueva Alianza, an aromatic and elegant cup that left a lasting impression. Both were simply outstanding!
If you’re a specialty coffee lover, Glitch Coffee is a must-visit in Tokyo. But if you’re more of a milk-based coffee drinker, you might want to skip the two-hour wait, this place truly shines in its pure, black filter coffee form.
