Despite all the other reviews, my wife and I had nothing to complain about. The food was really good (she specially loved the mushroom sandwich), we had a very nice view in the terrace, and the staff took really good care of us. They have a lot of options regarding beer, wine and cocktails (also mocktails and beer without alcohol).

Beautiful space and friendly staff. Cocktails and wine list were A1. Food was mostly great - my companions loved all their food, but my entree (gnocchi & grilled chicken) was bland and several elements were either under or overcooked. Apps and deserts were hits across the board.

The Sunday Brunch doesn’t have many vegan options. Two salads and an assorted fruits. Even items such as green bean, that could’ve easily been vegan, had bacon bits on them. I wish they would provide more options on the buffet line for vegans. The service was excellent, and we were able to have a veganized avocado toast prepared (on their breakfast but not brunch menu) and vegan desserts prepared. The food we were able to eat was delicious. We truly appreciated their efforts to accommodate us, I just hope they can add vegan options to the buffet line itself.

Very nice restaurant in a nice hotel. We were staying at the Waldorf Astoria but heard great things about this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The setting is romantic. They have outdoor igloo tables for $300 if you prefer to eat outside. We were inside where it was warm. Onto the food. The lobster bisque at $22 was surprisingly small. Great quality lobster pieces. The soup was great as well just not a lot. The veal was cooked perfectly and it was very tender. Medium rare was opted for and it was a good choice. Not over cooked. One of the better pieces of meat that I’ve found in a long time. You could cut it with your fork. The filet was tender but a tad over cooked. We’d recommend asking for medium rare to get a medium center. Dessert, we highly recommend the banana split. It’s not what you think. See photo. The bananas are like a banana foster. The chocolate dome is great with delicious mouse like filling. All editable. Sharing desserts is a great idea. Best pick restaurant in the area. This would make for a great place to eat when it is snowing out. We are here when it was in May. Do enjoy this place!

The restaurant has the best view I’ve ever seen. It’s absolutely breathtaking. However, the food didn’t really surprise me, it was good but nothing extraordinary.

The lodge sits at the base of the mountains (Bald Mountain, Bald Eagle Mountain) and the terrace/balcony of the restaurant has incredible views of the mountains and surrounding area. We were there in July, and the greenery/chairlifts, and blue sky made for a beautiful view during dinner. The service was great, pacing was very good, and the menu had a good variety of meat-forward dishes. Their Utah Elk Carpaccio and Coriander Pacific Halibut were excellent. You do have to walk through parts of the grounds and parts of the hotel to arrive at the restaurant, which made for a cool experience as well as they have some amazing art and furnishings inside the hotel lobby and hallways.

One of my all time favorite spots for lunch in Deer Valley Utah! The food quality is amazing as well as their service. I loved the shrimp and crab claws. The prime rib was yummy too.

Yelp
A very good meal at The Deer Valley Stein Eriksen Lodge Glitretind. We have been there during ski season for lunch, but never could get a reservation for dinner during winter time. This is to celebrate my brother's up and coming birthday. We started with a cheese bread, it was delicious. Then dinner dishes we ordered were the chicken breast and leg, the Bison ribeye, sea bass and ono fish. I also got a black cod appetizer. All were very tasty but the appetizer turned out to the best! Desserts were sticky toffee pudding, creme brûlée, Madam peach and ice ream flight to end a lovely dinner. They came out with a mini cake piece with candle to celebrate my brother's birthday.

Yelp
The food, while tasty, wasn't any memorable but it wasn't bad. The outdoor seating is great though. Ambiance is lovely and the service is very attentive. We ordered two rounds of drinks and lunch. We opted not to do the buffet ($50) but it did look good with lots of seafood offerings. I instead got barramundii sandwich with quinoa. My two friends got the apple chicken sandwich with salad and the Stein burger with a salad. We all enjoyed our food and sitting outside to enjoy the spring skiing.

Yelp
Perfect for a special night. We sat outside at the very beginning of the summer season, the tourists haven't descended into PC yet. The wait staff was laser focussed on us the entire time. We chose to go with all apps instead on entrees. Hamachi and scallops were tender and highest of quality seafood. Cod was excellent too. Terrific wine menu - had an excellent Barolo by the glass. Perfect place to take in views of the Wasatch on a breezy summer evening. Forgot to bring jackets but they were kind enough to provide blankets.

Yelp
This was all around an enjoyable lunch experience. We celebrated my wife's birthday with some friends in the Stein Alpineglobes, and we definitely chose the right day as it began to snow just before we arrived. The valet, although it was a little difficult to find, was great. For our appetizer, we shared the Deviled Avocados & Eggs which was delightful. My wife also got their signature hot chocolate cocktail which she loved (the gold foil was cool too). For my meal, I got Zane's Bacon Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup. The sandwich was outstanding. The highlight was the jalapeño jam. My wife got the Double R Ranch Steak & Fries and was disappointed. The steak was pretty good but was a little past the medium temperature she ordered. The accompanying veggies were good, and the surprising winner was the included shoestring sweet potato fries. We didn't order dessert, but as it was her birthday, my wife was served a couple of outstanding truffles--a nice touch. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We could have used a couple more water refills, but it was difficult since we were in the globes and it was snowing quite heavily. The ambiance and overall experience were very good. Something to check off the bucket list of having a meal in a (plexi)glass ball in the mountains during a snowstorm. We probably won't be back just because the food wasn't anything crazy, but it was a good experience.

Yelp
I LOVE their buffets. However, I am usually not super impressed when ordering off of the menu. My family has been going here for years for our breakfast when we stay at Stein and there are always so many options in the buffet and off menu. The staff are exceptionally attentive. However, when I come for lunch and order off the menu it truly is a four star experience. No complaints about service but I find that the food off of the menu tends to be good but not great. For example, I had ordered a delicious chicken Caesar salad, however, there were like four cubes of chicken on it which was a little underwhelming. During the afternoon in the winter, this place is alive and bustling, so be sure to come in at an off time or if you're a guest of the hotel, grab a reservation.

Yelp
Great service, excellent food, beautiful presentation. We went in Oct 2024 and it was amazing. Fires out in the patio/deck for warmth. Delicious

Yelp
TLDR: One of my favorite places to eat in Deer Valley because of the views and service. Tried the bacon grilled cheese and tomato soup this time and thought it was creative and delicious. Came with a group of 6 without a reservation on a Sunday for a late lunch and got seated immediately. FOOD: 1. Bacon Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup (4.5/5): Relative to the other sandwiches, thought this was a smaller portion. However, I was definitely full by the end of the meal. Only thing that would have made this a 5/5 for me would have been a crispier texture. 2. Others in the group opted for the buffet. I've had the buffet before and know that it's an expansive set of various items, with the crown jewel in my opinion to be the dessert table. Seriously, it astonishes me every time how many different desserts they have on that table. If it's your first time here and you're hungry....just go for the buffet. 3. Besides for lunch, I've also had both the blueberry pancakes (4.5/5) and lemon poppy pancakes (4/5) here. I thought they were both solid, with a slight preference for the blueberry, and they were extremely filling so I couldn't even finish one stack. The blueberry seemed like they used fresh, whole blueberries since you can't really see blueberry on the top of the pancakes (I think since whole pancakes will sink to the bottom of the pancake before it's all cooked through). -------- SERVICE: * Attentive service, constantly checking in to make sure we're ok. * When I was here for breakfast, the menu said they had blueberry-lemon pancakes so that's what I ordered. When my pancakes arrived and were only blueberry, they said it was because those were actually separate pancake flavors written as one on the menu. That was totally ok with me, but they actually really kindly made me a stack of the lemon poppy pancakes too without me ever asking! That's what I call good service (though I could barely finish one stack of pancakes) ------ ENVIRONMENT: * This is a beautiful restaurant, and in the winter it gives you the classic ski lodge vibes with the carpeting and decorations around. * If you sit by the windows, you'll get to enjoy your meal while looking at the beautiful mountains behind the resort. If you get there early in the morning, you can also see the sunrise. * Conveniently in the Stein Eriksen Lodge right when you ski in from the back (or just a short walk from the front desk)

Yelp
If you ski at Deer Valley then you have to get the skiers buffet here! All you can eat top notch cuisine for a great price while you are watching the snow come down and the lifts. We've been 13 years in a row and never plan to miss!

Yelp
Only reservation available was at 8:30 so we expected a busy night, it was not. We were one of like 5 tables. Came for our anniversary dinner and after our orders were taken it took almost an hour to come out. During that time no one came to refill our sodas and only after flagging down the server cleaning up after 30mins of waiting did we get a refill. The food came out and my husband enjoyed his elk very much but my beef tenderloin was overcooked and very lacking in flavor and was very tough. I was so disappointed. They did give us a free dessert sent to our room as an apology but room service actually beat us to our room since we waited another long period for our check so we had to find them to get the dessert. Over all we spent well over $200 for a pretty disappointing meal that was not worth it for us. The waitress was actually very nice though we just felt very pretty ignored.

Yelp
* Fine dining in a long established hotel * Needs an update and refresh * 1980's style dining * Great views when the sun is out Glitretind is a little bit of a trip back in time. Fine dining has moved up a notch in Park City and Deer Valley, but they haven't quite kept up with it. The dishes are standard fare, like a country club. The furniture and carpets need a refresh as do the recipes. The service is fine and there is nothing objectionable about the food, Lobster soup $24, Shrimp Schnitzel $18, Sea Bass $61, Rack of Lamb $49, but there's also nothing exciting about it. In a nod to trying to be trendy they offered us "Basque Cheesecake". That's trendy now. However it was nothing like Basque Cheesecake, it was just a piece of American Style Cheesecake. Trendy in name only,. Service was good on our two visits over the years, there is an extensive wine list and corkage is allowed for a fee. If you like old style food in a historical lodge setting you may like Glitretind. If you're seeking more James Beard award winning type recipes you should visit Riverhorse on Main, not for any atmosphere, but for the food.

Yelp
This was a really hard review for me to write as I've had so many great memories at the Stein over the years with my family. That being said the last experience we had was not very good due to another costumer there. My go to options at the stein over the years have been the same. The French onion soup & the Mac and cheese. The French onion soup is one of the best you will ever have. The best Mac and cheese variation I've had over the years was the truffle Mac and cheese. Nothing has lived up to that in my opinion but I always like to try out there new spin on a beloved classic dish. The charcuterie board is one of the best in Utah. My fiancé and I got engaged at the Stein & he planned everything perfectly with the concierge desk. We had dinner in the globe after. It was a beautiful evening. The service is always above and beyond. Getting engaged at the Stein was a Hallmark Movie moment and is a very special memory. My parents are big fans of their chai tea lattes and I personally love their hot chocolate. The brunch buffet is a must! It has everything you could desire much more. Now the last time my family dined at the Stein we went for the Hops on the Hill event. We thought it would be fun to try out. Unfortunately despite the staffs best attempt we saw many people bring outside alcohol in and pour it into there cups. People were very clearly getting hammered and the food was not what we were expecting. We expected it to be more like the brunch buffet but it was not. We left to get food after the event. On top of that a lady who claimed to be friends with one of the employees drunkenly walked to my mother and said some very racist and xenophobic things. Then ran away to the bathroom. I haven't been to the Stein since but am disappointed that the special memories I've had at the Stein are stained by this horrible experience with another guest. I've never experienced anything like this in Park City let alone a place that holds such a special place in my heart. I got engaged here, I've spent birthdays, Easter's, and other family events here. I know it is not the staffs fault but an unfortunate situation.

Yelp
After three staircases and two bridges we found the restaurant. No one helped us when we got to the hotel we just followed signs but we made it. The view is spectacular, no complaints. Service was good to fine. The music was laughable. 90's Wilson Phillips "hold on for one more day". The decor was a bit tired looked like it was still in the 90's with their playlist. Better to not play any music in my opinion. Food was pretty good, bread options galore and black salt on the butter was a nice touch. Sea bass portion not huge but very tasty, buttery, and flaky. I recommend this! Kids got chicken fingers and hot dog which was average kids food. Fries were great. The real show stopper was the rainbow kids cake desert option. My take go to the restaurant next to this one. Same view, half the price and probably same quality of food.

Yelp
Came to the Glitretind at the Stein Eriksen Lodge for lunch today, and it was delicious. Our family of five had the lunch buffet, and it was a well-thought-out spread with good salads, vegetables, and proteins like short rib, fish, duck breast, prime rib, and chicken or shrimp tacos. The dessert spread had apple crumble, bread pudding, brownies, toffee cookies, cheesecake, various small cakes such as coconut and chocolate. The hot chocolate here was fantastic. Must try. Overall an excellent lunch buffet. The service was friendly, hospitable, and attentive.

Kristie L.

Yelp
Their brunch is park city's best value. I have been going there for 15 years. After eating at the Grand Hyatt I was so glad to be back at Glitrerind.

Yelp
Ambiance- music did not suit setting, service staff seemed to be rushing around for no good reason, stressed/tense Amuse bouche- over roasted (burnt) broccoli and mushroom puree - awful, low effort Bread service- a highlight of the meal! Delicious delicate lavosh, nice focaccia and sourdough with cultured butter, a beautiful goat cheese butter and a roasted red pepper jam Appetizers- rabbit/spaetzle lacked flavor, carrot salmon mousse was over salted and one couldn't taste the salmon, special soup was just ok. Main course- these were better Elk tenderloin was delicious as was potato cake but spinach side was over salted. Sea bass also delicious but the red shrimp that were highlighted should have been in small print- there were only 4 quarter-sized shrimp that seemed like an afterthought. The duck was a little tough. Dessert- couldn't be bothered by that time Parting gift - also delicious! Nice carrot cake macaron and an excellent white chocolate truffle with caramel (get me more of those!) Overall disappointing for over $300 and NOT the quality I would have expected at the Stein Eriksen. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Yelp
By far the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. Great food but took 4 requests to clean out table with the kale and blue cheese crumbles the previous guests left. Server named Lyndse who was one of the most unhappy miserable people I've had the unfortunate ability to interact with. Ended up leaving and just eating at the lodge after dealing with an hour of waiting and a horrible miserable person. Save your time and hit the lodges folks.

Yelp
Omg the skiers buffet at the Stein Lodge is the best hidden secret of park city. At $48 pp, you get lots of freshly prepared food. The cream brûlée is an easily $15 dessert in park city. Had two of those cuz they r just absolutely heavenly. The service is impeccable. Attentive and courteous servers. The ambiance is deer valley. The buffet is weekday between 11-2:30pm I believe. We had to sit outside cuz we didn't wanna wait 30 min. It was a bit chilly even when I sat under the heat lamp. Recommend getting there early and wait. Will def go back again!
google avatar

Chelsea O.

Yelp
Beautiful spot with fabulous service. Really great experience. For the price, the food isn't worth it. Started with the broccoli and cheese soup then had the salmon - which was over salted. I'd maybe go back for drinks and the view only.

Yelp
So if ever a restaurant was resting on its laurels and also taking advantage of a well known luxury brand, it's Glitretind. The Stein Erickson brand makes you think this fancy and uber expensive restaurant mean you are about to enjoy some really fine dining. Let me reassure you, you are not. We made a reservation for the famous globes, where you sit outside in your own snow globe. The globes are old and tattered. Not at all well maintained. When we were escorted to ours the floors were wet and icy, no one shoveling or putting sand or salt. Our waiter slipped with a tray of food. Each globe has a space heater and a light fixture. Neither was on or even turned on when we arrived. We had to ask for that. Let me assure you, it's dark at night and about 20 degrees. You can ask for blankets. Our candle holder in the center of the table was not only not lit, but had no candle in it. Zero attention to detail. When we made our reservation, we indicated we were celebrating a birthday. When we checked in, the hostesses acknowledged our it, but for the entire meal and also during dessert, there was no mention of our celebration. Once our first glass of water was poured and drink order taken that was the last of the beverage service. Food is lackluster at best. Our order was delivered wrong. When asking question about menu items staff had no clue how to explain any of them outside of pointing the description on the menu. When leaving no one asked us about our experience as typically does happen by the host, Matire D or manager at a restaurant like this one. We were thoroughly dissatisfied. For the money, there are far better options in Deer Vally. This is yet another example of an established name not living up to its reputation but continuing to charge more and more money for less and less, year after year. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere.

Laura C.

Yelp
This is a very wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious and presented in a pleasing manner. Service was exceptional. The staff knowledgeable about the menu. Very attentive and friendly.

Yelp
Delicious meal by the fireplace! I recommend the kabocha squash and lobster soup, the shrimp schnitzel, and the Norwegian shellfish.

Yelp
The most amazing dining experiences in park city, dining inside an "Alpenglobe!" Reservation needs to be made ahead of time, it costs $200 to rent for 90 minutes. Can be booked for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The views are to die for! Each globe is like a little igloo, heated, it's own music and has a hand sanitizer. The service is absolutely wonderful. The only drawback is the food, it's average at its best. We tried stein burger, Caesar salad but everything was flavorless. Sea bass was decent. I tired a pappardelle mushroom pasta which was probably the worst dish, had no salt and no flavor. We skipped dessert coz at that point ordering more food was not worth it. Wine is pricy by the glass, everything was over $16. Luckily corkage fees is $25 so I took a good bottle of wine to enjoy with that fantastic view.

Yelp
Dined here about a week ago for date night and it was incredible. Our sommelier, Eliza, served as our guiding light in terms of menu selection. The clear standout of the night was the foie gras paired with this phenomenal port wine, but the zinfandel she recommended was still delicious alongside our main courses. One small touch that we loved was the bread basket. Three different types were served--traditional sourdough, a zesty squash-based bread, and sweet cranberry. I think the bread service says a lot about how well thought out a restaurant's dining experience is, and theirs certainly didn't disappoint. While we nearly didn't get dessert, their maple pear crème brûlée (pictured) caught our eye. Unsurprisingly, this was also exceptional. We had an extraordinary experience here and look forward to coming back.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous atmosphere and food created an incredible experience for our family. Nic was the best! Massive thanks to the culinary artists and staff. PS. It will be extra special if you get Nic as your restaurant specialist. Update: 6/4/23 Celebrated our Son's 21st Birthday dining alfresco enjoying Sunday Brunch. It is so nice to experience a restaurant where the value outshines the price. Value is in regards to the amazing service, quality of food and ambience.

Yelp
Evening dinner reservation for an Alpenglobe. Ordered a shrimp schnitzel to start, lamb chop and duck as mains, and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Food: Average and expected higher quality. Simple presentation and tried to be fancy. Cost: Too high for the quality. Service: Servers are nice and fine, but not great. Too many waiting periods. Ambiance: (+1) Private, fun, connected to speakers here, and overall enjoyable. Physical space: (+1) Inside waiting tables have backgammon. Globe is right by the mountainside, private space outside and overall clean.

Yelp
Went here with a group and sat outside in the igloo. The food was great but our waiter Cash was PHENOmENAL. He absolutely made the meal and was so much fun. The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight of the meal. We'd for sure go back and request Cash as our waiter. Vote for Cash
google avatar

Esteban Z.

Yelp
Service was decent. I paid $200 to dine inside an Alpenglobe. Food was not amazing at all. The light inside the Alpenglobe was not working properly so it was quite dark inside. They brought up another small light stand but it went out after a few minutes. Then they brought out three candles that did nothing to brighten up the room so our server took care of our desserts which we really appreciated. Our check for a table of 4 came out to be around $500 not including tip. Food was luke warm and some of it was cold. Our best dish here was the dessert. The best part of this meal was dessert in all honestly. I do not recommend and I would not come back.

Yelp
We come here every fall and each time we eat here, we are so satisfied with the food and the service. Tonight, Cash waited on us and he was such a great server. He made our meal even better with his great personality. 5 stars to Cash and the lovely hostess. The food is always on point. Tonight was no different. The French onion soup is the best I've ever had.... and I've had a lot! It has the richest tasting broth ever! So good! 5 stars to the chef.

Yelp
Had a terrible dinner here. I told them I had an allergy, was assured what I ordered was fine. And today I am sick with an allergic reaction. Beyond that, the service was awful. Waited over a half hour for a drink. Waited for food. Waited and waited for the check. Bad service is enough for a bad review, but having an allergic reaction unacceptable. Someone could die from their negligence. Beware!

Yelp
The Glitretind is located in the Stein Erickson lodge. This restaurant is beautiful and has an amazing view of the mountains. We had the pleasure of dining here for Sunday brunch. The food selections were well worth the price. There was a huge selection of cold items including delicious salads, smoked fish, crab and other seafood. There were two soups and I loved the butternut squash! There was a carving station with prime rib and a make your own omelet bar. There was also an incredible selection of desserts. There were so many delicious items to choose from. Give yourself a lot of time to enjoy the food and then the view. The patio wraps around the restaurant and it's easy to walk out and take a look at the view. It snowed while we were there! Our server, Ryan, was fantastic. He was so kind and personable. We really enjoyed getting to talk to him about the city and his experiences. This hotel is wonderful. If you can't afford the price tag of staying overnight, definitely come for the brunch! It's worth it!

Yelp
This restaurant in the Stein Erickson Hotel is really good. No matter what meal you're eating they have something special. My favorite thing is their chocolate fondue for dessert at dinner ... it is insane! And the views are incredible. The ski mountains are all around it. The have heated globes outside you can eat in if you pay $200 extra and reserve ahead of time too.

Yelp
I love our dinner at Glittretind. Except from our charcuterie board, everything else was very delicious. I'm particularly impressed with the scallop in appetizer and the seabass in entree menu. They really know how to cook seafood at the top of the mountain here. Not to mention, the vegetables that goes with these dishes are either non popular or the flavor is just so so good. I would love to go back anytime.

Robert R.

Yelp
I live here in Park City and a HUGE foodie and wine guy. The wine list here will blow your mind! That's where the pros of the place stop. This place is the best if you enjoy terrible service, subpar ingredients with poor preparation, and then pay Michelin prices. Stein should be embarrassed and ashamed of the product they are delivering here. It's terrible, and, the staff there knows it even if upper management doesn't admit it. It's obvious they certainly aren't addressing it. My most recent meal, (and my last) I went with my wife and two friends for lunch. Given I ordered a nice bottle of wine, our total tab was around $2,500 for the 4 of us. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager over the horrible dining experience. To paraphrase his reply, "What do you expect? It's a really busy lunch day and we are under staffed." WOW! You may be able to get away with that at Applebee's while sending out a free desert, but, not at these prices and from an establishment with the pedigree of Stein. I will make it my mission to spread the word and shout it from the mountain tops. (Baldy and Jupiter!)
google avatar

Ha B.

Yelp
We loved (almost) everything here. The scallops are probably the best dish of all. Sea bass and steak didn't disappoint either. Wouldn't order the charcuterie board again but the presentation on that thing is quite a beauty. As far as desserts go, both the chocolate box and the Black Forest delivered fully. Price point isn't too much for a restaurant inside a five star hotel. Highly recommend.

David S.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the view was amazing. The lamb was perfectly cooked. Service was impeccable. Mohammed was our waiter and he was thoughtful, appropriately chatty, and very well trained. He helped make the visit really special. The kids menu was also expansive, with common and unique offerings. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Stayed at the Chateaux next door and decided to eat at Glitretind. The service was good, but the meal was average. We started with the butternut squash lobster soup. I was expecting more of a lobster bisque, but the butternut squash soup over powered the lobster. Then we had the lamb and my wife the Norwegian Shellfish. My lamb was fatty and not very flavorful. My wife's dish was pretty good. I wasn't exactly disappointed, but I expected better.

Yelp
Came here for the dinner potion of a friend's 40th birthday, with a group of 24-25 people. The restaurants spit our group into two tables and the servers were very patient with our large party. The service was initially quite wonderful, and the chef gave our group a lovely sample of a caviar/lobster salad. I am avoiding dairy for dietary reasons, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed me to order off the bar menu, which had a safe option of seared tuna and sweet potato chips. It was a very fun evening, with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful company. Great cocktail and wine/beer menu, too. Our dinner ended up being very long, and even though we asked for the bill to be split prior to ordering, there was a lot of confusion when the staff wouldn't split our bill per couple at the end of the evening. The servers said their POS system couldn't split the check, so paying separate line items took about 30 minutes towards the end. The servers offered to split the check evenly, but that wasn't a fair option for all members of the party, as entree prices varied from $28-$45. The food was very good, but a few members of our party were disappointed in their choices. My food, seared tuna, was excellent. Keep in mind that I ordered off the bar menu. Although I enjoyed my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place for large parties. I would love to come back with a smaller party and maybe spend the weekend at the hotel. Food is 4 stars, service was 4 stars at the beginning then 1 Star at the end when WE had to manually go through line items and could only give the servers 3 cards at a time to divide our check. Paying, like I said, took close to 30 minutes and cut into the allotted times for the rest of the nights' plans. This place isn't designed for large parties, and I'm pretty sure our loud party was not appreciated by other patrons .

Yelp
By 11 AM on Easter Sunday morning I am ready for brunch. Located at the top of Royal Street in upper deer Valley within the sanctuary of the lovely Stein Erickson Lodge sets the Glitretind restaurant. Here you will find an amazing brunch for $60. I would rarely talk about the table service during a buffet, but the level of attention was amazing. The variety of foods and the presentation is almost magical - you'll be impressed. Too many food items to list in this forum and I believe they change the menu from time to time. This is your chance to sample it all - it's delicious and if you're like me, you'll probably eat too much. I start the feast with salads, meats, cheeses, shrimp and muscles, sushi, breakfast items such as eggs Benedict, amazing bacon, blueberry pancakes, an omelette and waffle bar, and assortment of lunch items including lamb, fresh fish, chicken, potatoes and vegetables, then move onto the desserts cookies, cakes, pies - all are five star quality. My special tip... Just between you and me, "this is the best meal you can eat with your ski boots on". See you at deer Valley. Salute!

Yelp
Came here for lunch. It's up in the mountain and the view is great. Service was fast and good. The food was super delicious, had the deviled eggs, bison chili, lobster and crab sandwich and lamb hoagie. All the food was delicious and it was nice to relax on the mountain side and watch people ski. Would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Our two evenings at Glitretind were fabulous! Paul and Cesar served our table so incredibly the first night that we booked a 2nd night! Food was delicious but great service is HUGE in my evaluation! Paul and Cesar Excelled!!! The Bison Wellington was a favorite for us! Enjoy the experience but be sure to request Paul and Cesar! (I will add that the restaurant did a fabulous job with cleanliness and Covid precautions!)

Yelp
When I heard we were going to be having dinner at Glitretind inside the Stein Eriksen Lodge, I anticipated something completely pedestrian. I'm happy to report that it was a superb meal complete with attentive service. We went during the holidays and so the lodge was decorated for Christmas, complete with a gingerbread Viking ship with a legit smoke breathing dragon at the helm. It was both visually and technically impressive, but the smell of the gingerbread was just incredible. It also made for a great photo op! The cocktails were unique and fantastic. They were certainly some of the best I experienced while in Park City. It's worth mentioning that the olives are indeed blue-cheese stuffed. The meal started off with an amuse bouche and varied bread basket. The CRAB BISQUE I enjoyed was on the specials list for the night and am so happy I ordered. The cream based soup was viscous but flavorful and delicious. Deciding on a main course was difficult because there were so many tasty-sounding options, but I ultimately chose the IBERICO PORK & GULF SHRIMP. Served over a bed of mashed parnsips and peppered with puffed barley, the rolled pork was juicy and rich. The pear and onion paired with it was lovely, but the mustard seeds was a turn off. I feel like it was headed in the right direction, just didn't care for the execution. Now, I rarely order dessert but I saw the CARAMEL APPLE SPHERE and knew I needed to get in on that. It arrived to my seat and the table side calvados caramel was poured. The brown butter ice cream was phenomenal and the spiced madeleine added texture alongside the apple confit. People inside the dining room started making comments, excitedly asking their servers what it was. I can only hope that they ordered it after we left. It is one of the better desserts I've had - if it is on the menu when you go, someone at your table must order it. The experience ended with 24k gold flake mignardises for the table that tied the meal up in a nice little bow. Take the drive up the hill and come here. It's worth it.

Yelp
Beautiful location, but horrible service, from desk guy Ryan was rude and waiter was short and full of attitude. I would expect way more from a 5 star... wont go back

Yelp
This place was incredible. We only stopped in for cocktails and dessert but we were blown away. The cocktails were smooth and the desserts were spectacular. We ordered the Manhattan and the New Norseman as well as the chocolate pot de creme and the caramel apple globe. The service was really good. All the staff was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. The lodge is beautiful and very cozy inside. If you go during daylight hours you can see out the balcony. I'd highly recommend a stop here even if it's not for a full dinner. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The morning breakfast buffet is top notch!!! Service was incredible (as expected from Stein's), Aleisha was kind, professional, and attentive to fulfill all of my requests. You can't go wrong with a Lox bagel, Avocado toast, or some of their house granola and yogurt but the real star of the show was their breakfast chilaquiles, it's not commonly found in restaurants but the Glitretind pleasantly surprised me...It was absolutely delicious!! And to top off an already incredible start to my morning with delicious food, was the fact that it was completely complimentary!!! An incredible breakfast buffet at one of the finest establishments in the world, and it is complimentary to all hotel guests during the winter season. UNHEARD OF. I would give 10 stars if I could, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
The food is excellent but their prices have gotten outrageous. It's simply too much to pay for brunch.

Yelp
Bar and patio. Great atmosphere. Wish the menu was more casual and had better choices. If you want a fancy meal you can go next door. The patio could be awesome with a better menu. Doesn't have to be so complex.

Yelp
Awful. 2 hour lunch for soup/salad. Ordered a bottle of wine and 1 hour and 15 mins later it arrives. Had to get up and find our own wine cork. What a waste of a lift ticket grabbing lunch here zero flavor in the tomato soup and Caesar salad.

Yelp
We had a great dinner here a few weeks ago. We started with the ahi chowder, salmon tartare and the filet (for the 22 year old food black hole that is my son). Then we went with the elk and heard island sea bass. Everything tasted really nice and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent. We had the apple sphere for dessert which is a show worth getting--and it is easily shared.
