GLO Hotel Kluuvi

A beautiful stay in a lovely hotel. Staff were very welcoming, the room was ready when we arrived at 10am which was a huge relief, and what a room!! Cannot remember a nicer setup and finish to a hotel room. Breakfast was varied (with exceptional vegan options). Overall a perfect stay. thank you very much.

Great location, friendly customer service, awesome spacious corner room with great views of the Main Street. Bedding very comfortable. Do not agree with them charging to use the gym or ti have a cappuccino latte with breakfast. Breakfast was good

Great hotel with nice staff. Room was nice and clean with a very modern feeling to it. Nice and spacious bathroom, even though I had an ordinary room. The bed was maybe a little to soft for my taste, but still very comfortable. One thing i noticed was that there was no sign to hang on the door to not be disturbed. Instead there was a small switch you pressed by the door and a red light was lit outside your room, letting the staff know you didn't want to be disturbed. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of things you could choose from. It felt fresh as well, with a good selection of greens. The only bad thing about the hotel was that you had to pay for the spa, even if you stayed at the hotel as a guest.

Staff were welcoming and spoke fluent English. They were expecting me and my room key was ready. There is a lift and your room key also opens the communal door to your floor as a added security. Room was spacious with sofa and added bonus there was desk with multiple sockets. You will need to bring an EU adapter if appropriate. There are USB portals. I wanted to live there permanently. Breakfast comprised of hot and cold food. Enjoyable and varied. If there is a downside I found the lighting system complicated and eventually managed to switch off all the lights.

Room wise it’s a 5/5 Very comfortable beds 🛌 My room had a master bathroom and additional bathroom. Water pressure, room space was all super. Location is very central. Service was great, although check- in took longer than usual.

We loved our time here. An excellent location for exploring Helsinki. Staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Visible, hug use spaces were clean but be careful when storing suitcases as those "out of the way" places are not so clean. Otherwise a really lovely stay.

I really liked the location (I could see famous Fazer from my room) and the hotel room itself: the beds are extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby. What I didn’t like is: my card didn’t work at least 1 time a day everyday during my stay so I had to go down every time for the staff to fix it. Also, when I wanted to have a breakfast, I had to pay separately, I couldn’t just add the cost to my room. Which was weird.

One of the best hotels during our trip to Scandinavia. The hotel is in a great central location, within 10-15min walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping and parks in Helsinki. The room itself was modern, clean, and an added bonus of A/C which can be uncommon in northern Europe. Would definitely stay with them again!

Great hotel very close to the main train station. It's less than a 10 minute walk. To be honest, it's less then a 10 minute walk from the major highlights of the city. They have a bar/restaurant. My room was spacious, the bed was comfy, and my shower pressure was top notch. Only issue was they did have construction going on, but it was during the main part of the day.

This my first time in GLO hotel although I come to Helsinki every year to see my family. I found the hotel on orbits and I book only two days yet mean-to book 3 days. They give me one more day and I had so much fun staying here. The breakfast is to die for, super yummy, the location is beautiful, every thing you need is close by. Stockman and any sightsee you can imagine. The hotel made reservation for me at great restaurants and we had fun dining there. I highly recommend this hotel to any one, although you have to park your car in Parking two blocks a way it all worth to stay here.

I visited Glo Kluuvi for a business event this June. Very centrally located and convenient. This review is only for the meeting facilities, not the hotel rooms etc. The meeting arrangements were quite technically impressive -- rather than typical projectors, this particular (smaller) meeting room was equipped with a wall of LCD screens. I felt it made stepping through presentation material more natural and appealing, since it sort of blended into the décor. The on-site catered lunch was excellent -- it was a salad lunch with many options like garden, greek, salmon, and caesar. The smoked salmon salad was particularly tasty. Standard coffee, tea, water etc. that you'd expect from such a facility. All in all, an exceptional experience and I highly recommend Glo Kluuvi as a business venue. Honestly nothing critical to say -- it was an excellent visit and I hope to return!

I travel all the time. And I mean ALL the time. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is my favourite hotel in the whole world. Why? It just works and it's cosy, it's in a great location, rooms are huge and all the amenities are plush. Staff are amazing. It's not the cheapest but it is fantastic value for money. I can't fault it at all.

Loved loved loved my one night stay at GLO. I was tight on time and needed a centrally located hotel. I was able to take the train from the airport to the train station and then walk 5 minutes to the hotel. My room was spacious and impeccably decorated. The bed was big and comfortable. The TV had many channels. I was able to hook up my phone to the speakers to listen to music. I used the gym inside the adjacent Kamp Spa and was impressed by the new equipment and spaciousness. The hotel was able to accommodate a slightly later check-out and I was able to get in a nap before I had to leave. I was also able to walk to most of the major sites and shop at many stores nearby. Oh, and this is one of the most affordable options in Helsinki. I highly recommend the GLO Hotel.

Centrally and well located, this Helsinki hotel is right in the midst of it all. The room was nice, modern and clean but the configuration of it was strange. The windows were high up and not reachable unless I stood on a chair, making the room dark and gloomy. And the ceiling was very high. The lighting in the room was impressive but to find a way to turn all of it off at night was a challenge. I ended up having to remove my key from the central unit in order for it all to turn off. The staff was moderately friendly and the entire hotel dark and gloomy. Breakfast was ok but too typical. It did not have any local touch to it. Overall, I'm disappointed as the reviews I had read about this hotel were I feel a bit too promising and not realistic. My room did not have a safe. After reading all the reviews, I selected this hotel even if it was more expensive than most. But in retrospect, I'm not sue that it was worth it. Not sure I would go back there.

The other reviews don't do this place justice. It's a modern hotel with very well designed rooms, good plumbing and lighting, and big flat screen TVs. The staff are professional, polite and competent in that slightly formal Finnish way. The location is really central and convenient. They even have real room service.

Amazing stay. Clean rooms. Beautiful design. Hardwood floors. Comfy beds. Great service. Best location. Everything I want in a hotel.

BEWARE! AVOID! Horrible hotel with a horrible "guest" policy. They will charge you 50 euro per "guest" you bring into your room. I brought a few local friends into my room for a drink and a game of cards before going to dinner. Not loud in the least bit. The next morning i was informed by their very rude staff that i was being charged the "guest" fee and that if i dared bring anyone else to my room they will charge me again and kick me out of my room. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!! This hotel is a joke!

Great stay - friendly staff, decent breakfast, and very cool modern rooms. Location is excellent, with tons in walking distance. Very pleasant experience!
