In my earlier years, I lived nearby and visited often, but even after moving, I’ve always made a point to come back and support them. That’s how special this place is. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm hello that feels like visiting family. Jenn and Jason are simply the best—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. The atmosphere is inviting, and the experience is personal. The highlight of every visit? Trying new cheeses! What amazes me most is that no matter how much time passes, they never forget my palate or preferences. That level of care and attention is rare and so impressive. I always leave with more than I planned to buy, and it’s always worth it. If you’re looking for exceptional cheeses and an experience that feels like home, this is the place. Jenn and Jason have created something truly special, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I had such a great experience at Global cheese! Jason was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly—he took the time to explain the different cheeses, offered samples, and even gave me pairing suggestions I never would have thought of. The selection was fantastic, with both local and international options, and everything I tried was top quality. You can tell Jason is passionate about what he does, and it made the whole experience fun and memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends!

Amazing experience every time I have gone. The owner Jennifer made a special cheese board for me on her day off. Jennifer answers all my stupid questions as I am learning more about the different cheeses and meats. The quality is excellent. Fantastic local fine food spot. Cheese samples are delicious, olives, oils, vinegars, crackers, dough, sauces, nuts, cookies. So many delicious goodies. The staff are Fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Always leave with so many new treats because of the great staff. No pretension or inflated prices here just great food and staff.

Fantastic experience at Global Cheese. They have quite the variety of cheeses, sauces, crackers, pastas and oils. We can't wait to try the cheeses and balsamic vinegar.

Unparalleled for cheese intel, price and range of choice. Incredible staff & owner (Jennifer) offer samples and informed advice. Excellent charcuterie boards, olives, pasta, pâtés and more. Etobicoke’s best secret. Been going there for years, and we love it.

VERY expensive, 100g and end up with 10 $ which 20 g is the cheese cover can be paper or wax , Costco still the best of the price and value , olives the same experience, prices are up but i think is not any control of the government is just too much … every one in this town just get nuts no any control …

This is a haven for cheese lovers. They have the best cheeses I've ever tasted. Emma is so wonderful - giving us free samples of the cheeses. They even gave us some crackers (on the house) to go with the 3 different cheeses that we bought. Perfect combination!! Our trip to Toronto is sooo worth it!!

Holy f'ing 5h1tball5 this place is a cheese-lovers' paradise. They have everything under the sun. Sheeps' milk cheeses from Ontario (some solid varieties especially one brand from Lindsay, Ontario), Spanish, Greek, Bulgarian, British (fabulous cheddar varieties), Italian, French, its all here. Went a little crazy and tried to reign ourselves in; not easy here. Hubby got his usual sheep's cheese, got one goat cheese from Italy, a small cheese, wrapped in vine leaves with walnuts. OMG. I purchased a British cheddar, with cracked, black pepper. SUBLIME. They have the usual comestibles such as olives, pastas, several varieties of oils for cold dishes. Expen$ive. They had some quince jam from Spain that looked very tempting. This is a gastronomes' paradise.

So glad I shopped here. I was impressed with the varieties of cheese. Had every cheese I wanted. Plus many more that I plan to try. Nice clean store, beautifully laid out. Some other items are pasta, olives, pate, preserves, crackers. Many items made in Ontario. I bought duck liver mouse with pink peppercorns, it's really good. I'll be a regular customer now.

I always drive by Global Cheese on my way to La Tortilleria and never thought to stop in; however, it was the Friday before the Labour Day long weekend so I decided to check it out without expecting much. I was so wrong as the place is a hidden gem! I'm by no means any type of cheese connoisseur but every sample they gave me was out of this world. The gentleman that was serving me was so friendly and made all types of recommendations. I ended buying four different types of cheeses: merlot cheese, goat Gouda with wild garlic (not your typical Costco or Loblaws goat cheese), a soft Asiago and a really sharp cheddar with caraway seeds - yum. I also picked up some imported olives and Carr's Water Crackers. Everything came to about $28, which I was kind of thinking I went overboard but, when snacking on it all weekend, the quality and taste were second-to-none! The mistake I made was not looking around first but rather choosing a couple of cheeses that they cut for me. It was when I walked around, had I noticed the pre-cut cheese (such as the Asiago and cheddar) were very, very inexpensive. The small containers of olives that they dish out were only about $2.50 each. If you take your time and shop around, you can come out with a bunch of stuff at a decent price. The store is exceptionally clean, the service was outstanding and there was parking in front - you could always park on Norseman too. Please just note that they only accept cash or debit. I would also double-check the hours because I'm certain they're closed on Mondays.

This is my idea of Willy Wonka for cheese lovers. The staff are very knowledgeable and are not shy to give a sample. (I do try not to have more than a couple or it looks like I'm there for lunch.. lol ;)) They have a few other things on offer. For me, nothing that really drew me. But let's be clear this is an Artisan Cheese Shop where their array is staggering. I could spend hours just chatting about where the different cheeses come from and descriptions. If you're a cheese lover, and you go spending half your pay cheque, don't say I didn't warn you! :)

Considering that this is just mouldy milk, it sure fills my belly up. Incredible flavours mixed with bacteria and kind people truly brighten my day each week. You see, here's the thing about cheese for me: when I was growing up in Andorra, we only had cheese imported from France. When I moved to Toronto in 1923, the first thing I had in the city was cheese from "Global Cheese". This was truly a wholesome welcome to my new home in Toronto. I will continue to shop at "Global Cheese" until my dying day. I fill my children's stocking each year with cheese from this store. Thank you for your service, Global Cheese loyal customer

Absolutely cheese overload. This is one of the very best put together and well stocked shop ever.

What can I say but WoW! This place is amazing. The staff were very knowledgable and friendly. The offered samples and guided me to find what I was looking for. They have a huge assortment of cheeses from around the world, as well as different kinds of stuffed olives among other delicious foods and sweets. If you're a cheese lover, hurry up and get yourself down to visit this hidden little gem.

I love this store! I went there to buy cheese for my party. The staff were helpful and very knowledgeable about cheese. I love that you can try the cheese before you buy it. There is a wide selection of cheeses, olives and crackers. I got everything I needed for my party at a great price. Thanks Global Cheese!
