The Business Platinum Card® from American Express Review

"I get up to $120 in statement credits for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck every four years, and I personally recommend Global Entry since it includes TSA PreCheck, requires an interview, and will save a ton of time when I travel internationally." - Matthew Kepnes

Went today and arrived early. The process was simple and quick and I’m glad they saw me before my appointment time. My interview officer was very nice. The office is in the new terminal and it was very nice and modern. If you arrive early you can grab a coffee or snack at the café upstairs before/after your interview.

Location: Terminal B, go past the American Airlines & British Airways counters and you will find this place across from the Lost & Found. Frequently, the officers come out to keep track of the people that are there for their appointments based on a list and to answer any questions as needed. The interview appointment was a breeze - biometrics, photograph and confirmations of basic biographic information that you provided when you applied for Global Entry. What was awesome is that the same day, I was able to setup my TSA Pre-Check utilizing the Pass ID! Can’t wait to use Global Entry and TSA Pre-Check on my next trip!

I know there are a lot of horror stories about getting an appt, but I had zero issues. I applied at the end of Feb, and my appointment was 3 weeks later. Surprisingly, I was able to be seen at my home airport, and the appt lasted for about 5-10 minutes. When you get there, you just have to sit and wait for them to come out and get you. I was there a little earlier than scheduled, and I was called in b4 my appt time. Blessings on Blessings 🙌🏽!

I went to get my Global Entry completed and had a great experience. However, when I went to take my son, we had nothing but problems. We had a 10am appointment on June 8 and weren’t called back until close to 10:30am. The gentlemen who was helping us openly admitted he’s the weekend guy and he’s not great with the computer system. We checked my son’s status for travel a few weeks later because we hadn’t received his card and saw he still wasn’t approved. We called the number provided for the local office dozens of times - no one ever answers and the mailbox is full. We ended up calling the national service number (a pain in itself due to extensive menu trees, long hold periods, and kind agents who really can’t do much to help). They basically told us we need to go back to the MCO office to get the issue resolved. If you’re going to use this office, go on a weekday and check on your phone, tablet or other device that you’re approved before you leave the airport. The agent at the National line said it would be approved right after the field agent completes his or her end of the interview/fingerprinting portion. It will save you the headaches we are going through right now.

Officer De… helped us to update our GE information and added our new passports. Even if we didn’t have an appointment, he answers all our questions and fixed a problem with our account. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain.

First of all, the officers were very friendly and professional. It is also easy to find> = Absolutely go to Terminal B (not A, as Google suggests) = Use entrance for American Airline = The office is about 120 feet from the entrance on the left. = When I was there, there was a very helpful officer, that led me right to the entrance of Global Entry.

This airport is a mess! Parking is a nightmare, confusing and rude.
