On the Grid : Global Gardens Community Garden and Refugee Training…

"Once a vacant lot, 100 families from Bhutan and Burma have transformed the corner of Lawrence and Sacramento into a thriving, organic garden and farm. Global Gardens’ ongoing purpose is to provide access to fruits and vegetables to refugee families and the surrounding community." - Bark Design

I attended their cooking class outdoors with Chef Isaac. Such a great experience learning about the organization, and also being able to pick the food we were going to cook. Can’t wait to attend again!

I bought some of their vegetable's at the Horner Park farmer's market and they were so good!! The workers were so sweet, and helped me figure out what each vegetable they had was. I would definitely support them any time I see them there!!
