Google
A good place for accessories and clothes for any type of sport We were here for kraxe and it was the only shop in Center which had one for trial The people are friendly and helpful. They gave us directions and also helped with variety of books on hiking with stroller and overall treks and hiking spots Cheers to the team!

Google
Absolutely huge store! It even has its own pool in the lower ground floor to try out canoes. The range of outdoor goods is impressive but the prices were not so competitive. Small selection of Arc’terex gear available but no Mont Bell or and Wander products were on sale, which is what I was hoping to purchase.

If you are traveling, hiking, spending any amount of time in the outdoors, or your own urban backyard, you're going to find something here you want. I found several things. Including a comfortable breathable pair of pants from Mammut I'll be wearing home on the plane. I also loved their in house brand Frilufts, good quality and less expensive. Even if you don't buy anything (but want to get out of the rain), the vibe and atmosphere of this place will inspire you. And shout out to the staff who were super friendly and helpful!!

Google
The Harrods of outdoor equipment... if you like buying your stuff overpriced in fancy surroundings, this is the place for you. While the former comes down to taste, please *fellow climbers* shop mindfully. Little choice in brands and versions, manufacturing dates of rope and sling equipment years in the past, range of shoes very small (no medium range shoes, just beginner and advance, on more than one occasions pricier than in most other shops). Staffs quite friendly.

Probably the best store in Munich with Top performance clothes brands. Yes, they are expensive and sometimes very expensive, but the prices respect MSRP, and the sheer volume of stuff is mind-blowing! You can literally find everything you need, some stuff you don't need, and a bit of stuff you never expected to exist! If money is not the issue for you - this is the only store you need for life.

Google
Terrible client service, never count on them to repair something, their policy is to get money from you - sustainability is their last interest Broke a BD running pole and they just threw it away although I asked several times to give them back to me if they cannot repair them as I would have contacted BD directly. They just ignored me even if I called 3 times

Big store, alot of outdoor things to offer, -1 star because when we asked the employee if they have something for skiing clothing , he said we dont have that products here, also no clothes for hunting. When we went on the second floor, we saw that they have all of the clothes that we asked him. Educate your employees about things that you sell in the store!

Yelp
This store is awesome. It's hella expensive though so be prepared to come off some $$$ if you really want to come in here and shop. We found things we've never even seen before on the sprawling three levels of this store. There is a huge book section covering all the how-to guides you could ever want or need to find as well as tons of travel bags and backpacking items. There is outdoor gear for camping, kayaking, hiking and any other adventure sport you'd like to try. They also have tons and tons of women's and men's clothing spanning hiking, camping, casual, workout, and other sports like skiing, etc. It's basically like a much better REI or Dick's in America. Staff were friendly and we found a cool few things to add to our collection of travel goodies.

Yelp
I have ventured into this store MANY times in the past, but always to just window shop. I will admit that one time, I only went to see an item in person, but planned on buying it online, since I knew it was much cheaper. However, that item wasn't able to be shipped APO. I happened to go back to buy that item and luckily, Sebastian M. and Fritz D. were both there. Both were super helpful with finding my item and most of all, they knew not only what a VAT form was, but how to fill it out correctly to save me the 19% VAT! Sadly, that was my last visit before I left Germany. I wish I had shopped there more often with VAT forms, as they had a WIDE variety of items I always wanted to purchase, but I was always there randomly without a VAT form. To Sebastian and Fritz, I hope you guys are still working there the next time I visit Munich.

Yelp
Terrible online experience. Ordered a set of matching bike bags, Globetrotter took the order, showed inventory, and charged my account. 3 days later i get an email sharing one bag was no longer in stock, and i called to say don't bother sending the other bag that was matching and i was told, you can't cancel this you have to receive the order, call us and get permission to send it back. I checked the order status with DHL and it was still at an electronic message status, it was still in their warehouse. Now i have to call and get approval to return, set up a return pick up, and baby sit them that mat account is credited. This is the opposite of customer service and the agents story was, "this is how we do it, too bad". Can't wait for these online opportunists to fall by the wayside. Good riddance Globetrotter, never again will i be a customer.

Yelp
I don't know if this is a co-op or not, but it's very similar to REI in the states. Not sure if it has the same type of return policy though. It has stairs, but also elevators. WC's are on the bottom floor. All kinds of gear and equipment for almost any outdoor-oriented adventures. Lots of books and camping supplies including dehydrated food and small roof campers. 3 levels of stuff! They even have an indoor pond for people to try out kayaks or SUP's.

Yelp
Fabulous travel and adventure store. It is the biggest store I have ever seen for such things and the choice and selection is just incredible. I have a feeling they will be getting a lot of money out of us as we set ourselves up for the Bavarian outdoor life style with everything from Hiking, Cycling, Climbing through to Winter activities not to mention a bit of sport fashion to go with it all ;-)) I usually regret walking into places like this as they keep attracting me back. I avoided going here for a few months but now I am hooked :-)

Yelp
This is a very large store with three floors full of all types of sporting gear, outdoor gear, camping gear, bags, you name it, they have it.

Yelp
How is this not the greatest store in the entire world? You know those ridiculous people who go on holiday to the Amalfi coast and for some reason decide to go shopping the entire time? Well, that's us in Germany. With so many amazing travel stores, it's not possible to resist, and Globetrotter is their king. Like the other location I visited in Dresden, this location is a huge, multi-floored beast with a pool in the center for testing kayaks. I could spend hours counting their laurels, but instead I'll just say that if you love travel, you must come here!

Yelp
The closest thing Germany has to REI from the States. The service is excellent, people know what they're talking about and the selection fantastic. My favorite outdoor store.

Yelp
The building is beautiful and customize by topic. The selection is huge and the prices normally. The staff is professional and has professional knowledge.
