Hotel Glockenhof

This hotel was more than amazing, especially with kids. We did the family room that has an adjoining kids room equipped with toys, kid’s toilet, plates, bed, etc. The staff even helped us find a stroller to use during our stay. Also has room service and in a great location. Only bad part was the lack of streaming services with the tv. Definitely a great stay!

We stayed at the family suite and it was such a fun setup! Even though my children are older now, they got excited by the fun camp and bunk beds. It connect to the neighboring room with one large bed, where I can relax. Location is great. Close to train station and to any place of interest, easy walk over the river and bridge. People working at the front desk, the bar, and the bellman at the door are always helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The dining room was also a wonderful experience with delicious options on the menu. Our breakfast buffet was exceptional. The Moules et Frites bistro attached to the hotel was not as good and I wouldn't recommend it. The Coop market right acroos from the hotel was huge with a basement portion with so many food and drink choices. The rail station was about a 10 min walk. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and filled with light from the large windows. Added bonuses were the slippers and housecoats provided in the room. An enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Glockenhof Zürich. The location is excellent, right in the city centre, perfect for shopping, with a Coop supermarket just next door. The hotel is cozy and comfortable and valet parking was prompt and convenient. The reception team was friendly and responsive and housekeeping was quick to attend to requests. They even surprised us by specially setting up the room for my birthday, which truly delighted us. Highly recommended for comfort and great service in the heart of Zurich!

First time in Zurich and I am so glad to choose Glockenhof as my base for business, as well as personal tours for three days. Concurring with my stay, Zurich’s just kicked off annual Christmas lighting and holiday market, which turned to be a memorable festival experience! The hotel is super cozy, well organized and beautifully decorated into every corner. Staff is very polite and accommodating. Every corner shows their efforts to perfect stays for guests. Though I did not request house keeping for room private to myself upon settlement, they offer customized bed preparation for each room, which is extremely thoughtful and heart warming. The room and bathroom are sparkling clean with therapeutic and relaxing atmosphere. I had very sound sleep without hearing noise or disturbing activities on hallway. The guests here are very respectful at night time-thankfulness from a light sleeper. Breakfast has great selection of food to choose from. The staff serving tables are courteous and professional. The only downside is coffee is per request, not as accessible as I expect. The coffee machine is not open for guest to access in public all time, only before breakfast or certain limited hours. Also keep in mind that mini bar is not on the house. It is recommended for the hotel to put a sign to remind guests to avoid surprising charge at checkout. Location wise it is just perfect -close to almost everything like HB train station, old zurich town, tram ride stop Renweg, landmark churches and several good restaurants. Check out the Coop right around corner-it has almost everything to be surprised in Zurich. The hotel thoughtfully supplies several shopping bags and a big umbrella in closet. I look forward to staying here again in Zurich and would commendation it to everyone!

Fabulous start to our Swiss vacation. The restaurant was fabulous as was breakfast. The room was lovely and comfortable and super quiet. The staff were very welcoming and the location was perfect. Only a short stroll to the lake and bus 165 takes you straight to the Lindt museum.

Great location in Zurich from which to explore. The rooms we had were good side and clean. The service in the hotel was good. Our housekeeper, Sarah, was amazingly friendly and made us feel welcomed! There wasn't a pool or a fitness room which at least one would have been nice to have. The breakfast buffet was ok but didn't have much variety. Overall, we had a nice stay.

A couple of things that sets this hotel apart for me was the great location right in the centre of Zurich, the service at the night desk, during breakfast, and during the day was impeccable. The only negative is the bathroom wall has one glass portion, very small but would have preferred a full wall. Great bed, international plug points, plenty of towels nothings to complain about. Adorable and clean room. Cheaper than other hotels we looked at but certainly not cheap but a great value to essentially have two rooms for the price of one. A present for kids at check in, lots of friendly and kind service and a great location. My husband looked at me and said "maybe we will all be able to sleep?" That's valuable!

Wonderful hotel in a very vibrant district Many things to do within walking distance, trains and bus rides galore Breakfast and dinner was included as we are on a tour but would definitely return The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating

We had a wonderful experience at the Glockenhof. Filippo was a fantastic and accommodating host for us in the lobby. He went above and beyond to make our family feel so welcome. Filippo is amazing!!

Great place to stay. Nice staff, clean rooms, wonderful food. It was our first night in Europe and a great way to start our vacation.

Clean and spacious rooms. Courteous staff and fabulous location. I loved staying here. Oh and the breakfast is included and is pretty good.

This hotel is perfect for your stay in Zürich... Great location, nice and modern rooms. 2 things I missed... Breakfast buffet was just standard, would have expected a bit more. No WiFi in the hotel rooms or area... an absolute "no go"! Reception confirmed that WiFi will be installed in a week... Let's hope and see!
