Hotel Glockenhof

Had a very nice stay. Great location near Old Town and High end shops. We had a comfortable and clean room which had a good size (both room & bathroom). Excellent breakfast. Staff was fantastic, they go above and beyond to help with any needs. Front desk amazing! both in person and thru email, they are very knowledgeable of the area, and bilingual. Highly recommended!

Just had an amazing stay at Hotel Glockenhof. The hotel is in a prime location situated a short walking distance from the main station and Lake Zurich. Also easy to walk to other places like the opera house. As it was Xmas, the hotel was decorated beautifully in Christmas decorations We were checked in by Oliver with a friendly smile and professional efficiency. Throughout our stay, he, like all the reception staff , would greet us with a kindly smile and a hello. He, again like all the staff, gave us lots of information about Zurich and answered all our questions like how you travel around easily , restaurant recommendations etc. When we reached our room we were pleasantly surprised by the space and feel of it. The coffee machine, once another friendly member of staff , David, showed us how to use it, was a great and useful addition. David, like Oliver, was so friendly and polite and would also have a smile for us and was so helpful and hardworking. Breakfast was of good quality with the usual fare. Our main server, Peter , had a great sense of humour which us Brits appreciated. He was also very efficient at getting our drinks to our table quickly. We also ate in the restaurant one night and we thought the food was of excellent quality and good value with comeptive prices, as Zurich restaurants are somewhat expensive for the British. All in All this hotel helped make our first stay in Zurich and excellent one, with Oliver, David and Peter being exemplary members of staff promoting a fabulous Hotel. Would love you go back at sometime in the future.

Location is superb , just behind the shopping street and about 8-10 mins walk from the Zurich HB station. Booked the family room and I guess that’s the best kids friendly room in Zurich. Comes w two separate rooms with two toilets. Everything is prepared for including utensils, full set of toys and bath toiletries with triple bunk bed! Amazing. Breakfast was sufficient though we hope there’s more variety, but there’s hot food. Will certainly consider returning to this hotel next time when in Zurich.

This is a gem of a hotel. I love staying here when in Zurich. The rooms are fresh and clean. Breakfast is very good with a nice selection. If you decide to eat at their restaurants, the food is just as good. The location is wonderful. ||I want to acknowledge the great staff. They are always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel and could not fault a thing. Bedroom was spacious and spotless. No noise from outside. Staff were always kind and helpful. Good choice for breakfast. |Centrally located - got train from airport then 5/10 minute walk to hotel. Took tram back to airport. Both easy to use.

We had an exceptional stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough—especially for families with young children. The family suite was truly outstanding and thoughtfully designed with kids in mind. It was fully stocked with everything our children needed, including toys, stuffies, a play tent, step stools, bath toys, safe bunk beds, and even kids’ safety locks on the doors. The attention to detail made traveling with young kids feel effortless and genuinely relaxing. The staff were consistently knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was seamless. Breakfast, which was included, was superb—high quality, plentiful, and a perfect way to start each day. We left feeling completely taken care of and already know we will be back. There is no reason for us to even browse other options. This hotel has set the standard for family-friendly accommodations, and we would enthusiastically recommend it to any family traveling with young children.

Great location for tourists. You can walk to the supermarket, Bahnhofstrasse and the old town very easily. The room was clean, quiet and spacious(30m2). The beds were soft and comfortable. I stayed at 9 hotels during my trip to Switzerland. The breakfast here was above average. I will stay here again next time I visit Zurich.

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The dining room was also a wonderful experience with delicious options on the menu. Our breakfast buffet was exceptional. The Moules et Frites bistro attached to the hotel was not as good and I wouldn't recommend it. The Coop market right acroos from the hotel was huge with a basement portion with so many food and drink choices. The rail station was about a 10 min walk. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and filled with light from the large windows. Added bonuses were the slippers and housecoats provided in the room. An enjoyable stay!

Adorable and clean room. Cheaper than other hotels we looked at but certainly not cheap but a great value to essentially have two rooms for the price of one. A present for kids at check in, lots of friendly and kind service and a great location. My husband looked at me and said "maybe we will all be able to sleep?" That's valuable!

Wonderful hotel in a very vibrant district Many things to do within walking distance, trains and bus rides galore Breakfast and dinner was included as we are on a tour but would definitely return The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating

We had a wonderful experience at the Glockenhof. Filippo was a fantastic and accommodating host for us in the lobby. He went above and beyond to make our family feel so welcome. Filippo is amazing!!

Great place to stay. Nice staff, clean rooms, wonderful food. It was our first night in Europe and a great way to start our vacation.

Clean and spacious rooms. Courteous staff and fabulous location. I loved staying here. Oh and the breakfast is included and is pretty good.

This hotel is perfect for your stay in Zürich... Great location, nice and modern rooms. 2 things I missed... Breakfast buffet was just standard, would have expected a bit more. No WiFi in the hotel rooms or area... an absolute "no go"! Reception confirmed that WiFi will be installed in a week... Let's hope and see!
