Hotel Glockenhof

Fabulous start to our Swiss vacation. The restaurant was fabulous as was breakfast. The room was lovely and comfortable and super quiet. The staff were very welcoming and the location was perfect. Only a short stroll to the lake and bus 165 takes you straight to the Lindt museum.

Front Desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were very big and nice, although the glass inclosed shower and tub were a little different for us US folk but very clean and they provided a box breakfast since we had to leave before breakfast was served. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 4 had a great stay in one of the family rooms at the hotel. It was two adjoining rooms where one of the rooms was laid out as a kids room and well stocked with toys. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very tasty with good selection. The location was also convenient for walking around the city center. There’s an exceptional toy store about a 3 minute walk away that is well worth checking out if you have young kids and space in your luggage!

We had an awesome experience staying at Hotel Glockenhof for a family of 4. The kids loved the play area and bunks in their rooms. They received lion stuffies upon welcome and there was given kids plates and utensils at breakfast. The selection at breakfast could be improved upon, but it was included in our hotel stay. The hotel is very close to the popular shopping street. and about 10-12 minute easy walk to the train station. The service at the hotel was excellent. We were greeted upon arrival, and our luggage was brought up to the room without even asking. For my daughter's birthday, I requested special attention and boy did the hotel deliver! They decorated the kids' room and gave us a cake and lots of fruit. It was a fantastic end to our vacation in Switzerland. Highly recommend for families with young kids especially.

I had an excellent experience at Hotel Glockenhof. I was on a group tour with Vacations By Rail and had a wonderful stay!!! The hotel staff were very accommodating and courteous and they were exceptional to their guests. In fact, this hotel was the best hotel I ever stayed at. I enjoyed the coffee station and had an excellent room and hotel view. I highly recommend booking this hotel when making travel plans in Zurich. Carol I.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Glockenhof in Zurich! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. The front desk was extremely helpful — they even assisted with our luggage right outside near the entrance and brought our bags up to the room. The housekeeping team did an impeccable job every day, and as a special touch, left chocolates in the room, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations, with plenty of variety and freshly made coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos. On the day we checked out, the staff kindly stored our luggage so we could explore the city before catching our train to Paris. The location is fantastic — just a 5-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The staff was always friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere felt both professional and warm. I would highly recommend this hotel for families as well as solo travelers or couples. It’s a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and genuine Swiss hospitality.

Great location in Zurich from which to explore. The rooms we had were good side and clean. The service in the hotel was good. Our housekeeper, Sarah, was amazingly friendly and made us feel welcomed! There wasn't a pool or a fitness room which at least one would have been nice to have. The breakfast buffet was ok but didn't have much variety. Overall, we had a nice stay.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3-night stay here in July! Our room was spacious and spotless, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered abundant choices and they even packed large sandwiches for us when we left early upon checkout. The location is great for touring Zurich and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Adorable and clean room. Cheaper than other hotels we looked at but certainly not cheap but a great value to essentially have two rooms for the price of one. A present for kids at check in, lots of friendly and kind service and a great location. My husband looked at me and said "maybe we will all be able to sleep?" That's valuable!

Wonderful hotel in a very vibrant district Many things to do within walking distance, trains and bus rides galore Breakfast and dinner was included as we are on a tour but would definitely return The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating

We had a wonderful experience at the Glockenhof. Filippo was a fantastic and accommodating host for us in the lobby. He went above and beyond to make our family feel so welcome. Filippo is amazing!!

Great place to stay. Nice staff, clean rooms, wonderful food. It was our first night in Europe and a great way to start our vacation.

Clean and spacious rooms. Courteous staff and fabulous location. I loved staying here. Oh and the breakfast is included and is pretty good.

This hotel is perfect for your stay in Zürich... Great location, nice and modern rooms. 2 things I missed... Breakfast buffet was just standard, would have expected a bit more. No WiFi in the hotel rooms or area... an absolute "no go"! Reception confirmed that WiFi will be installed in a week... Let's hope and see!
