Hotel Glockenhof

My husband and I enjoyed our 3-night stay here in July! Our room was spacious and spotless, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered abundant choices and they even packed large sandwiches for us when we left early upon checkout. The location is great for touring Zurich and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

A lovely beautifully located hotel in the heart of Zurich. Ideal for a family , couple of business trip. The rooms are spacious and nice . Access to public transport is very easy. Breakfast is perfect . The staff here are very warm. The housekeeping, the servers and especially the reception and concierge staff are brilliant and very helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A good hotel in a fantastic location for exploring Zurich. 10-15 minutes in any direction and you’ve got it covered! Our Family Room was a good size with all the amenities you would hope to have. Worth noting that the bath/shower room is all glass, so no privacy when showering. The toilet is in an enclosed opaque glass room within the same area. Room was spotless and cleaned quickly and efficiently daily. Complimentary water was in the room - much appreciated in what was sweltering heat - but the tap water is also drinking water, so you can replenish your water at will. Breakfast was good, not the biggest choice but just about something for everyone. Staff were all lovely and friendly.

We booked a family room here because it was the cheapest option to fit 2 adults and 2 toddlers. We stayed here for 4 nights and we weren’t expecting much but this hotel ended up being really nice. The family room was 2 connecting hotel rooms. The children’s side had a 3 level bunk bed, a child toilet seat, and even some toys that surprised our kids. They were greeted by a Chase and Hulk plush and some other fun surprises. The hotel and room was super clean, just like the city. The free breakfast was pretty good too and it was nice that it could be delivered to your room. This will be the first hotel I look at book at next time I’m in Zurich.

The location is not far from the central train station and right off the main shopping street. The rooms were fantastic, with 1 fitting 2 adults and 2 large teens with room to spare. Breakfast was great! Service was fantastic. We will certainly look to stay again on our next trip through.

Comfortable rooms with good working air conditioning. The location was perfect - a relatively quiet street just a short walk to the train station. Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating at every turn.

I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Hotel Glockenhof Zurich (March 20–23, 2025). The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond—when I emailed my boarding pass, they promptly printed it and handed it to me, which I truly appreciated. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with housekeeping sometimes done twice a day for extra comfort. I also loved the coffee machine with complimentary coffee, a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. Overall, a perfect stay with top-notch service and amenities. I highly recommend Hotel Glockenhof Zurich and would gladly stay again!

We LOVED our short stay here. The kids/family hotel room that they have was super clean and spacious. One of our kids favorite hotels while we had our two week Euro vacation. Staff were super friendly and welcoming as well. I actually booked the hotel through my credit card points and specifically wanted the family room that needed to be directly booked through the hotel website. They were gracious to switch us over to that room as I reached out in advance. That is what I say is above and beyond service. The location was great as well, walking distance from everything!

Adorable and clean room. Cheaper than other hotels we looked at but certainly not cheap but a great value to essentially have two rooms for the price of one. A present for kids at check in, lots of friendly and kind service and a great location. My husband looked at me and said "maybe we will all be able to sleep?" That's valuable!

Wonderful hotel in a very vibrant district Many things to do within walking distance, trains and bus rides galore Breakfast and dinner was included as we are on a tour but would definitely return The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating

We had a wonderful experience at the Glockenhof. Filippo was a fantastic and accommodating host for us in the lobby. He went above and beyond to make our family feel so welcome. Filippo is amazing!!

Great place to stay. Nice staff, clean rooms, wonderful food. It was our first night in Europe and a great way to start our vacation.

Clean and spacious rooms. Courteous staff and fabulous location. I loved staying here. Oh and the breakfast is included and is pretty good.

This hotel is perfect for your stay in Zürich... Great location, nice and modern rooms. 2 things I missed... Breakfast buffet was just standard, would have expected a bit more. No WiFi in the hotel rooms or area... an absolute "no go"! Reception confirmed that WiFi will be installed in a week... Let's hope and see!
