It's really cozy, but toilets were missing a bit of TLC. Also the seats in the cinema were not able to be pushed back. Otherwise an intellectual hub! Thanks for screening Chantal Akerman's amazing film and for cooperating with Terassen.

Everything I liked about this place was taken away, when they sold themselves to the big business. It's no longer independent and the description as 'indie' should be removed.

Movies out of ordinary distribution. Bring your drinks to the show. Cult classics. What's not to like? It's been here forever and you should support it to make it stay. A relaxed hidden oasis in the bustle of the city.

Excellent, cosy little special cinema in Copenhagen. I love it.

No popcorn. Seats connected so movements from entire row can be felt. Bad temperature adjustment as it was quite hot in there though it was very cold outside. Small theater. Only a one bathroom for men and one for women.

Very small cinema with no popcorn and audio is only ok. There isn't much leg room either, but overall the atmosphere was small, but cozy

I absolutely love Gloria; mainly for all the good they do for the cinema and film culture in Copenhagen. If you, like me, are bored stiff with all the mainstream predictability, please do come here. This is where the different movies are at. The only downside are the seats that are just too low and too close to the row in front of you. For us long-legged people, such as myself, this is a problem. My legs have no place to go! And not only am I long-legged, I am also a lazy type of person who likes to rest her head when she watches her art films (judge me, why don't you?). Unfortunately the seats are so low they let my head go into some sort of freefall after a while. I do not love it. But you know what I love: the dudes working here. Such awesome, lovely guys. They make the best coffee, they can work up the best conversations and they love this place. Oh man, there is so much love in here. Can you get that in the big cinemaplexes? I think not.

I really didn't have the best experience watching a film here. And that's because of two main things. 1. The seats we got were on the third row. Meaning we were so close to the screen (as the screen is practically attached to the first row) that the two people in front of me were blocking part of the text with their heads. Very annoying. 2. Hot. It was so hot in there that at some point I started wetting my skin with water I thank god had with me cause I was almost feeling sick.. I can see other people have written good reviews about the cinema. Unfortunately it might have been a bad day and the wrong seats. Just a reminder that if you go try to get seats at the back and bring water with you! Other than that it's a cute cinema with red seats and old style design. Wish the air condition was better!
