What an absolute delight! The staff truly have servants hearts....looking out for your every need! The food was so fresh, so yummy!!! And what an amazing location...a perfect stay in the Old City of Jerusalem! We could easily walk to everything, and we loved the hustle and bustle of "life". We happened to be there to witness the Shavuot holiday which added so much! Thank you, dear Gloria Hotel, for an unforgettable stay!

Wonderful hotel inside the wall of the Old City (by Jaffa Gate). The perfect balance of modern conveniences in an authentic and charming, family-run hotel. Super convenient to everything - sites, restaurants, shopping - and the owners and employees went out of their way to make us feel at home. Excellent breakfast, convenient lounge, great views from the room, fast wi-fi, and very comfortable and clean accommodations. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Jerusalem, especially if you are planning to spend time in the Old City.

We loved this hotel. We spent two weeks in Israel and one of our biggest regrets was only staying here one night! It was beautiful, clean, and all of the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Our room had a great view of the Old City wall. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was convenient. I look forward to staying here again.

This place is beautiful. The staff are rude. Very uncomfortable feeling with staff. One freaked out because I got coffee at 6:25am and the breakfast opens at 6:30am. Very unpleasant people. Another creepy staff member sang to a girl as she shut her door to her room. The buses are near by so that's great. Great location and a beautiful building full of history and art. The rooms ac went out 5 of the 12 days we stayed. The David Hallelujah nights is loud every night but a really cool show to see and not far at all.

We had a terrific stay in the Gloria Hotel. I cannot think of a better location for exploring the Old City - there is no substitute for being within the city walls. Staff were very attentive, the rooms were spotless, and it has one of the best breakfasts in the city. You can enjoy all the amenities of a world class hotel in a beautiful structure that evokes the history of your surroundings. From our room we also enjoyed a great view of the Old City walls and Jerusalem beyond.

This hotel is extremely well placed for the old city being almost next to the Jaffa gate. You can't park a coach there so the staff will take your luggage the 200m from the parking - or you can roll the cases yourself. The small courtyard is ideal for sitting outside whilst the bar area is quite atmospheric and a pleasant place to be, situated under old stone arches. They are refurbishing rooms at the moment so there is some building work although this is not problematic. However there are only 2 lifts and one was out of action during our stay which caused delays. Our room on the 1st floor was small and dingy with the bathroom having seen better days with mould around the shower. I did not see one of the refurbished rooms but a friend staying in one could not get the heating to work and was very cold. We spoke to reception on her behalf and the response was not helpful at all. The dining rooms are modern but there was a hole in the ceiling in one of them. They are sterile places to eat and the food was bland. I suspect the hotel mainly caters for large tours. I will not stay there again.

I just returned from a two week stay in Jerusalem. I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and the location perfect! We were within walking distance to so many of the places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this hotel.
