Glowbal Grill Steaks & Satay

Great outdoor tables. Appetizer descriptions were better than the appetizers, but were very good if you catch it during half price happy hour. Mixed drinks & Whistler beer went down well.

I have been to Glowbal many times and mostly its a pleasant experience, however the last 2 times I have gone it was the complete opposite. Our server (S.D) seemed to be pre-occupied with other things and took forever to get any order started. Bread was never served but happened to land at other tables except ours. Specials were read to other tables except ours ( which is sad as i would have ordered the special Halibut instead of Salmon had I known about it), food took forever to come out even though the restaurant seemed hardly busy. After the last let down, previous to this dinner experience, I had decided to give Glowbal another chance but sadly their service and quality has slipped. With so many restaurants in the area that cater towards a similar menu, it might be best to try others for a while. I hope this review gets read by someone who works at Glowbal so that changes can be made, as I would like to get back there some day, but until then...... Visited May 2013

After reading the reviews, we chose this restaurant for our 5 year anniversary. Worse decision ever. This is more of a stop for drinks and snacks before hitting the clubs. The techno music was really loud and I am in my 30's so not some old guy hit with culture shock. About half way through dinner, Gang Unit Police showed up and wandered around our tables for 30 minutes so not the best atmosphere. The tables were so close that a couple kids showed up to check on their moms at the table next to us and we had to endure a couple of 7 year-olds bumping up against our table for the rest of the night. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, avoid at all costs. If you are looking to spend $200 on food and drinks before hitting the clubs, then this place is for you.

Spaghetti and Kobe meat balls were good! Service was very good as well! Tuna and pulled pork satay were delicious, chicken was so/so.

Have been to Glowbal around 10 times and have always left a happy customer.. Good food and the staff and managers work hard to make your experience a great one.

i've only been here for breakfast...but breakfast on a sunny morning on the patio feels like i'm on vacation...and the food is good too

Great place for weekday lunch, weekend brunch and late night at their back lounge.

verrry expensive but worth it for the kobe beef meatballs...yes, you read that right.
