Glyfada Beach

Probably the best beach in Corfu 🫶🏻 wide enough, great sea and fine sand, plenty of options if you want to stay on a paid sunbed, umbrella, food, drinks, etc (a few beach bars, tavernas, minimarkets, etc), but also simple beach area - where you can bring your own towel/umbrella/etc; volleyball area, nudist beach, and even a surfing booth. Big recommend!

My impression is that this beach has something for everyone. It’s wide and sandy, with plenty of options. There’s a beach bar with food and drinks, as well as sunbeds and umbrellas, but there’s also plenty of space to set up your own spot further away from the crowds and enjoy your own space. The water is clean and warm, with areas perfect for both play and relaxation.

Sandy beach, which turns golden in the evening. Evenings are calm and quiet. This is a resort for tourists, so I recommend staying only if you have a car, otherwise it will be boring. Prices are a little more expensive than elsewhere.

This beach was the spot for the perfect beach day in Corfu! Soft powdery sand. Water so clear that you can see the sand resettle and follow the fish. Just the right length for a nice walk on the beach. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to take care of your needs. There were rentals for jet skis and raft rides to take advantage of. Several places to rent a sun bed and umbrella or lots of space to bring your own. This beach has it all! You will not be disappointed.

Very beautiful beach and clean water. The only thing is that the sea is not so warm on this side of the island but this can be very refreshing. The nature around is amazing.

Beautiful beach - we parked closed to this pin, but if we were to go back I'd park at Akti Glyfada Parking. I also recommend you get beach chair at the farthest right corner, right under Akti Glyfada restaurant. End of September from that blonde man 2 chairs were 15 euros. The food was excellent at Akti Glyfada.

Have been to Corfu for a couple of times but this was my first time visiting Glyfada , this is the best part of Corfu , if you want the clearest water and the soft and clean sand , make sure to come here . It was just amazing , there were also clubs but it was quiet not like too loud . Excellent views also , it has an Australian vibe for a reason . 10/10 beach 💯

Glyfada beach is a nice sandy beach with crystal clear waters. Visited in July 2025, quite crowded but very wide. Parking spaces are not enough so if you are coming after 10AM enjoy. Suitable for families, kids and adults alike. Lifeguard posts present. A lot of eating and drinking available as many restaurants are around. You can sit freely on the beach or take sunbeds around 15 EUR for two with 2 bottles of water included. All in all the beach is nice if you are up to a 45-50min ride with the rental, scooter or taxi. July is very hot with 35-36 in scope so plan a hat, sunscreen and water.
