Glyn Afon Guest House

could not fault anything about the Glyn Afon guest house. Location was ideal for a walk up Snowdon, the breakfast was superb, private parking was available, everything was clean and even the T.V. was a good size for the room. Elaine was very helpful and there was lemon drizzle and rocky road cake to help yourself to in the lounge. Excellent.

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2024 and would wholeheartedly recommend Glyn Afon Guest House. Really convenient for starting the Llanberis trail, only a bus ride away from starting the Miners or Pyg track. The room was comfortable, loads of added extras - toothbrushes, toiletries etc. Room had everything we needed, slept really well. Elaine was really welcoming and a great host. Breakfast was great, loads to choose from cereal/pastries to cooked breakfast. Even made us pancakes while we waited. We'll be returning in future if we climb Snowdon again.

Really good location to the local hills and mountains. Comfortable clean room, Elaine goes the extra mile in making sure all her guests have everything they need. Fantastic breakfast chooses accommodating everyone’s diet needs. Elaine was friendly approachable and nothing was too much trouble . Will defo return soon . Thank you so much xx

This b&b is a gem.|The accommodation has everything you need and more. Elaine was a great host, friendly and welcoming and had thought of all the little details that make a big difference to your stay. The breakfast was amazing, and the cake :)|On top of that It’s ideally located to amenities, public transport links and it has easy access to Snowdonia National Park with one of the popular routes being just a 10minute walk away, or you can just pop on a bus and it will drop you off right next to the main car park.|I will certainly be staying again, thanks for having us all!

I stayed for two nights for a hiking holiday with a group of friends and we could not have had a better base. Lovely en-suite rooms, comfortable beds and nonstop cake! The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, great produce and a huge amount of choice. Elaine’s cakes are absolutely gorgeous and a lovely treat for the summit! I will definitely be returning!

A absolutely glorious place to stay. Elaine gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The clean and comfortable rooms contained everything needed for a effortless stay. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The cakes - well just heavenly. Elaine made us more than welcome and looked after our group superbly including extensive local knowledge. Highly recommended.

Elaine runs a great guest house and the service is excellent. Elaine has a real eye for detail and her customer service is exceptional - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are magnificent and will keep you going all day! We've stayed there several times and will definitely be back.

Too many lovely things to say about this place! Elaine is the nicest host and really looked after us during our stay - she even lent us climbing gear when we were short and gave us freshly baked cake for our walk. The included breakfast is delicious and the rooms are the perfect cosy place to relax after a long hike up the mountain! Don’t bother shopping around, just go here and enjoy! Thanks again Elaine!
