Glyn Afon Guest House

Elaine is so friendly and you feel welcomed and home immediately. We can see the building is old but the room is very clean and the bathroom has been renovated. The breakfast was a dream🤩 we got to have a plenty of coffee and both savory & continental breakfast. We couldn’t thank Elaine enough for the hospitality. The street the guest house is facing is very quiet at night and you can have a good sleep. We would definitely come back here when we visit North Wales again!

Perfect location for walking. Great links to public transport too. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. Communication was excellent. The very best of my stay was the breakfast and the cakes which helped me walk up Snowdon twice in two days. Elaine is kind and friendly and I highly recommend staying here. Great value.

Honestly cant find fault. We stayed here Friday and saturday night. It was a late check in so didnt get to meet the host until the morning but when we met she was lovely, very accommodating and friendly. Made conversation and talked through the breakfast menu which offered a big selection and variety. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The room was beautifully clean, well stocked with tea making supplies, toiletries and even a cheeky little chocolate under our cups. Will definatrly stay here again and would totally recommend.

What a wonderful stay, A B & B which offered everything. Such lovely touches like freshly baked cake in the lounge to help yourself, extra toiletries incase you forgot anything and free parking. Elaine has thought about everything… the breakfast options were great including the pancakes! |Elaine kindly dropped us to Pen Y Pass as no buses were running, so we could climb Snowdon. |Beautiful walks around Padarn country park and some nice places to eat. |Perfect location for Snowdon walk. ||Thanks again for a great stay ☺️

Lovely two nights here as part of our hike along the Snowdonia Slate Trail. Elaine was so kind and accommodating and the cakes she made were delicious! Perfectly located in the heart of everything but quiet and cosy- all the amenities taken care of and Elaine went above and beyond for us. Would happily stay again anytime.

What a fantastic B & B! We were made to feel welcome from start to finish.|Tea/coffee and a choice of freshly baked cakes greeted us when we arrived.|Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and Elaine was the perfect host.|So much to choose from for breakfast so everyone would be catered for.|Location was perfect and a stone’s throw from the local pub. Close by but not that we heard it.|Thanks for a lovely stay, highly recommend, thanks Elaine.

A absolutely glorious place to stay. Elaine gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The clean and comfortable rooms contained everything needed for a effortless stay. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The cakes - well just heavenly. Elaine made us more than welcome and looked after our group superbly including extensive local knowledge. Highly recommended.

What an amazing stay perfect location for my walk up Snowdon. So clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and lovely breakfast room with so much choice. Elaine was the perfect host.
