Staff behind the counter are amazing.
The food, especially the ribs, are absolutely great. Kind of remind me of mission barbecue. However, I will note that this place is also much more expensive than mission barbecue. Two people, two meals, two drinks came up to around sixty four dollars.

Go-Bears is conveniently located right off of I-49 at the Sunset/Grand Coteau exit. There's a convenience store with your average goods available for purchase as well as a small counter with boudin balls, chicken strips, and other fare. They have a few souvenir items as well. They have fresh ground coffee and other refreshments as well. Located in the store is a sit down restaurant with po-boys, fried fish, and more. It's delicious. There's also a casino and a trucker area. Prices seem to be a bit above average when compared to other convenience stores.

I didn’t get food, just gas. Kudos for soapy windshield wash with towels and clean restrooms!

I came in during breakfast. The hot case was all there was, and honestly, it looked sub-par. I wish I could say I have it a shot, but the prices were not posted, and the staff looked disinterested in helping me, so I left.

Visited this casino a few times. I won 136 games with a 50-cent bet!!! The casino is a nice size for truckstop. I enjoy playing here.

Yelp
Generous portion of fried shrimp and an adequate frozen burger. I'd have happily paid more for tartar sauce or remoulade . Not as good as fast food. About the best I can say is that it was clean. FOX propaganda was mandatory listening. Won't be going back.

Yelp
The food is excellent and plentiful. I have eaten multiple items from their menu. My favorite is the chicken and sausage jambalaya. I enjoyed a huge helping of fried shrimp and fries. I also had some specialty sodas from this place as well as sausages known as boudin. Their prices are so reasonable for so much great food. The wait staff is ultra friendly.

Yelp
First I want to say staff here is really great. As for my meal it could use some help . I ordered the grilled shrimp poor boy $5.99. All the shrimp were cooked well enough they were just to salty for consumption. One bite was all I was able to do before setting it down until I returned home. Once I returned home I washed the seasoning off of the shrimp( after pat drying ). I added a no salt Jamaican seasoning to them and did a quick pan sear and they were good to go. Great customer service below average food. Hopefully on my next visit the food will be better.

Yelp
Breakfast was pretty bad. Bacon was under cooked, biscuits were over cooked and eggs were watery. I hope lunch is better. I gave it 2 stars jus because of the service but the food was disappointing

Yelp
I went in for a quick breakfast - I ordered a sausage biscuit. Biscuit was so good and fluffy - and the sausage patty was HUGE! GREAT price for what tasted as good as homemade! I give this restaurant a GREAT rating because I am looking forward to eating there again. Staff was smiling and very friendly - thanks Go-Bears!

Yelp
Unfortunately, my dad said the crawfish etouffee wasn't all that great. The chicken tenders that I ordered were OK, but it would have been better if the skin was crispier and if it would've stuck to the chicken

Yelp
The crawfish etoufee is excellent. The small order with fried shrimp on the side was under $10. It also came with a biscuit that was flakey and delicious. Two thumbs up.
