Goa Science Centre & Planetarium

We visited the Goa Science Centre, and I must say it’s a wonderful place for kids to explore and learn in a fun way. The exhibits are interactive and spark curiosity, making it a great educational outing. The 3D shows and planetarium are definitely worth watching, especially in the evening when the experience feels great it’s a must-visit for children in Goa—educational, entertaining, and a refreshing change from the usual beach activities.

Goa beyond beaches, for tourists! A unique experience, especially if you have children with you. Kids above 10-12 years will surely be able to relate to the science concepts explained practically here. Lots of time required to go through all the experimets they have displayed. Good thing is that you can also try attempting those experiments to understand the concept. If in goa, do take out around 2 hours to experience this place. It is worth the time spent. The upkeep and maintenance can definitely be improved.

Many equipments have become old and need maintenance. Many of them dont work. 3D glasses used for 3D show also have scratches, need to be replaced. Other things are good. New displays of Mangalyaan, Gaganyaan and well presented. Mirror section also good.

Great science center which is very well maintained and decently charged 👌. 110 rs per person for 3 shows science show, 3d show and planetorium show including entry ticket. There are multiple self play science experiments in hall and garden 🤩. You can easily spend 3-4 hrs with your kids. Shows are nearly 15 minutes. In science and 3d show, try to sit in the front while in planetorium get seated in back seat to get best views. Sequence of shows is science show, 3d show and then planetorium. Staff is polite. My kid fully enjoyed his time. One of the best things in panaji which should not be missed if you are traveling with family 🥰😘😍.

Great collection of exhibits based on scientific concepts to inspire curiosity. I would highly recommend visiting this place if one is visiting Goa with children. The 3D theater needs an upgrade, the show itself was good but all equipment and maintenance seemed dated. The rest of the facility is maintained to the highest standard at least three hours can be spent here with both the planetarium and 3d show.

Wonderful place for kids to learn & experience science experiments. Kids can be engaged easily for 2 hours. Only drawback that they don't have canteen and nearby eating junctions are not convenient to reach along with young kids.

We have visited the science centre situated near Miramar beach, Panjim Goa. The campus is BIG with amusement park with science theme and inside all the science models are working with its miniature working models. We have seen the 3D show as well as attended the science show there. Science show was fun for my kid. We all have enjoyed overall visit of this place. Recommend if you have a kid age 8-12 years, he / she will find it Interesting. Now new inaugurated planetarium is available to visit. Enjoy… Parking available for Cars & School buses too.
