Neither sales distributor will accept a return and the manufacturer refuses to honor the warranty because you did not purchase directly from them (the manufacturer). This is despite having purchased within 10 days, proof of purchase, and original packaging fully intact. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and planning small claims litigation.

I bought the Yeti 500 a couple of years ago. I've now had three opportunities to use it. The first use was a success and I was happy with it. The next two opportunities, it proved useless! The indicator showed 100% charge. After less than five minutes of running a 54" tv the indicator showed 20% battery life. The power died within twenty minutes. My review of this product is that it very certainly can't be counted on for emergency power...poor quality! I suggest you go back to a gas generator. You, at least can count on their performance.

I stopped here to look at some of their products after I did a local pickup for an online order. Both the pickup and showroom had friendly and helpful employees. The show room was cool to see some stuff in person, really liked the haven setup as well as the camp lights. Seeing the new fridges was cool too. The lady behind the desk knew pretty much all the answers to any questions I asked and was very nice. Worth stopping by if you want to check any of their stuff out.

Amazing products and amazing service. We have installed their solar panels on all of our work vans. We run their yeti solar generators in our vans to power battery chargers, refrigerators etc,. and they never let us down. The customer support team is very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Can't recommend them enough!

Keep your reciept when you buy from these jerks. I got a $70 lamp that just decided to turn on and never turn off, its on till it dies, only used for light camping. GZ knows about this manufacturing defect but won't replace it without a proof of purchase and can only give me a 20% discount on another lamp. I said well i guess I can only leave a bad review of your company and in a cheriful feminine voice the goal zero representative replied "happy to help!" Get new representatives gz you're not dealing with barbie buying softies that don't know what a reputable and reliable company is made of, and in your business that's what we are spending thousands on, good luck! I wish I would have bought from jackets!

They really do go above and beyond to please the customer! They thoroughly explain anything you may need to know, they give honest recommendations for the type of product you’re looking for, they’re not commissioned for sales so they don’t push products on you like a car salesman. The shipping is FAST. Our lights & battery packs arrived in 2 days from their warehouse in Utah.. all the way Minnesota with just standard shipping! They were packaged nicely to protect them from any damage that may occur in shipping. The quality of the products is outstanding. Very durable, RELIABLE, and user friendly. Props to the company for helping me out. My Yeti 500x stopped charging a week before a trip. The company is aware of this issue and has a method to request a replacement, but with my trip coming up so quickly I didn't have time to go through the program. Since I live close to their corporate offices I called them up and asked if they could help me. They arranged to have me come and pick up a replacement that very same day. So while I understand people are frustrated by the charging issue I commend the company for working to remedy it. The unit itself is top notch!
