G.O.D. 住好啲 Goods Of Desire

Wow! An eclectic variety of items for decorations, gifts, clothing and so, so much more. I was in a hurry to find a gift but I will return to explore the store more! Incredible things that you have a hard time finding and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful! I can't wait to come back!

G.O.D. (Goods of Desire) is a lifestyle and gift shop focusing on Hong Kong themed goods. They have several branches around the city including two in Central. One is located along Hollywood Road while this place is found on D'Aguilar Street and is open from 10am to 8pm daily. G.O.D. carries a nice range of clothing, gifts, souvenirs and in-house items that represent and reflect local HK culture and taste preferences for design and lifestyle. Products are reasonably priced and make for interesting souvenir and gift purchases, especially around the holidays. Worth a visit if looking to buy something to remember your trip to Hong Kong.

Nice shop for Hong Kong style home goods and souvenirs. We stopped in this shop 3 times while in Hong Kong. Friendly service good quality and unique items.

I have been shopping here since they opened back in 2006. Interior design of the place is amazing. I have spent tens of thousands of Hong Kong dollars here over the years. I haven't been back to a physical store since 2016. I visited this location three times over the past month and have had mixed results. The staff, with the exception of an older woman, has been mediocre at best. Furthermore, inconsistent pricing versus the website, which was explained to me as being "website only pricing", but that some online promotions were also available in store. There were no promotions that I noticed in store. Everything was full price. An item I was told was on promotion was still coming up as full price. Minus two stars. The products at G.O.D. these days are not my cup of tea, but I was able to find a few small things that I liked, or that I will give away as gifts to my friends in the USA. I purchased a few items at the other location and used my credit card. I had to go to this location to purchase other items that I wanted that were out of stock at the other location(the employee there had no idea what I was talking about when I asked). I was told that there was a credit card minimum. That doesn't make sense as I charged less than a hundred Kong Dollars on my card at the other store, but then was denied a similar priced transaction at this store. The employee seemd smug about it. Minus one star. I really liked this place, but like many others, I feel like it has gone downhill. Douglas, I hope that you can figure things out and make this place as great as it used to be. Until then, I won't be back. Very sad.

A must stop-by on every visit to the city. To enter any G.O.D. is to be surprised, by whimsy and thoughtfulness, if you are a fan of HK Culture. If you go to the flagship store, there are so many fun and unique products that I have to recalculate my luggage space. For additional bonus, check out the cultural artifacts that are displayed throughout, don't forget to look up.

Love visiting this shop to support local HK brands. They have a selection of clothes as well as homeware. Great place to check out if you want something HK-inspired for yourself or as a gift.

A wonderful store if you look for nice gifts and souvenirs. Prices are reasonable and location is excellent. Employees are helpful and very friendly.

Good place to get gifts as a tourist. Better quality than the typical souvenir shops.
