Godavari Village Resort

Godavari Village Resort is spacious and surrounded by beautiful gardens, offering a calm and natural environment. However, the resort is not very accessible for people with disabilities or those with mobility challenges. Despite the large area, there are no proper pathways or facilities for wheelchair users, making it difficult for guests with accessibility needs to move around comfortably. The food was average, but the main area for improvement is creating a more inclusive and accessible environment for all visitors.

A lovely place with a peaceful atmosphere, featuring a spacious swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. I really enjoyed the ambience and the quality of the food. What makes it truly special is its location—serene, beautiful, and wonderfully secluded.

I have stayed here several times in 10 years gap and recently too. It’s located in a beautiful place but the rooms are not upgraded. The quality of food is low, neither buffet breakfast nor dinner met the standard nor the ordered lunch was worth the price. It was more like food from ‘party palace’. Even an average cafe serves better milkshake or bakery items. It’s heartbreaking to see such a beautiful place go to waste.

Peaceful environment with greenery and Serene view, room is super clean, good food and services, friendly staffs, highly recommended.. swimming pool is just awesome 😎

I recently stayed at Godavari Village Resort, and the first thing that struck me was the beauty of the place. Surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views, it felt like a calm escape from Kathmandu’s chaos. The gardens are well-kept, the air feels fresh, and walking around the property was honestly the highlight of my stay. But once I settled in, a few issues stood out. The food was hit-or-miss breakfast was decent, but some meals came out cold and bland. The management wasn’t very responsive either getting simple issues addressed felt slow. Moving around the resort can also be tiring. There are steep staircases over a hundred steps in some places which made it inconvenient to get from my room to the restaurant or reception. I can see this being a real challenge for older guests. Overall, I loved the views and peaceful vibe, but the outdated rooms, inconsistent food, and unhelpful service made me think twice about staying overnight again. For me, this place works better as a short day trip to enjoy nature, rather than a long, comfort-oriented stay.

The rooms are in bad shape. -- Walls are stained --bedsheets are stained --Dont go for in house dinner it sucks --average breakfast -- AC leaks water -- Bathtub has no cork -- rooms don't have privacy curtain The location is nice However if you are spending your money find a better place.

Resort is in a really good location but management needs upgrades and updates.Swimming pool was closed but noise caused disturbances throughout middle of the night. Breakfast is awesome,dinner was okay Overall food is A ,bathroom faucet has a design flaw where the water flows outside and gets all over the bathroom. With a better management and some updates policies this would be one of a best resort in Kathmandu. If noise doesn’t bother you I still recommend this place
