The rooms are in bad shape. -- Walls are stained --bedsheets are stained --Dont go for in house dinner it sucks --average breakfast -- AC leaks water -- Bathtub has no cork -- rooms don't have privacy curtain The location is nice However if you are spending your money find a better place.

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. The level of service fell far below expectations ,if I were to rate it out of 10, it would be a 0. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve future service.

Resort is in a really good location but management needs upgrades and updates.Swimming pool was closed but noise caused disturbances throughout middle of the night. Breakfast is awesome,dinner was okay Overall food is A ,bathroom faucet has a design flaw where the water flows outside and gets all over the bathroom. With a better management and some updates policies this would be one of a best resort in Kathmandu. If noise doesn’t bother you I still recommend this place

The overall environment of this resort is quite pleasant, and the large green open space is its main attraction. The staff are generally polite and well-mannered. However, the management seems extremely poor. 1. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. 2. There’s a strong smell of mold in the rooms. Despite being labeled as non-smoking rooms, most of them reek of cigarette smoke, making it uncomfortable to stay. Even after complaining and getting a room change, all the available rooms had similar issues — mold, smoke, and overpowering air freshener smells. 3. Though there is a telephone in the room, it doesn’t work. When calling the hotel’s number from a mobile phone, they rarely answer. For any help, you have to walk all the way to reception. There’s practically no in-room communication system. The Wi-Fi exists only in name — it doesn’t work. 4. It seems the management has no proper training regarding cleanliness and hygiene. The staff are trying their best, but without adequate tools and supplies, they can only do so much. 5. Basic items were provided in the room, but they were unclean. For example, the electric kettle had limescale buildup (photo attached). 6. The restaurant menu and the food served are totally mismatched. The quality and taste don’t justify even half the price. The breakfast had very limited options. 7. Guests are likely to feel deceived after arriving, judging by the attractive exterior and online ads. The management doesn’t take complaints seriously. If you’re thinking of visiting based on reviews or online promotion, it’s better not to. Most reviews about this resort are negative, and there’s no sign of improvement. It feels like this place is run by people with no idea about the hospitality business. 8. Billing seems to depend on whether or not the guest asks for it. If you don’t ask, you might not get a bill at all. When we requested one, we were told the system was down and to collect it later. But even at checkout, no bill was provided. 9. The act of flying drones everywhere and capturing videos without considering the guests’ privacy was extremely irresponsible and careless. To conclude, the resort’s advertisements are misleading and feel like a scam. Please don’t fall for them. It’s fine to visit during the day to enjoy the greenery and surroundings — but if you’re planning to stay overnight, be ready to be disappointed. Thank you.

Place is beautiful for the customer service is the worst. Few things I was not happy about. 1. After sending the payment screenshot for booking, they left me on seen until I messaged again few hours after. 2. Phone and refrigerator not working in the room. Tap leaks making the washroom wet. Very annoying. 3. They forgot to add one item to the bill while making the payment. My bad, I didn’t check the bill myself too but they came running to the taxi and asked if I paid for it. The receptionist told me the remaining and I paid. It was embarrassing in front of my friends and the driver making it feel I left without paying. Never visiting back.

I recently had to pick a spot for my family's annual picnic, accommodating 23 adults and 6 children. After experiencing bad customer service with the marketing executive at Norling, I reached out to Godavari Village Resort. The operations manager here was quite helpful, soft-spoken, very responsive, and willing to accommodate a lot of our dietary requirements. That turned out to be a major positive point for us. Upon arriving there, the property was perfect for our needs—lush green garden space, a swimming facility for the kids, and ample open space for game activities. The food was also good, accommodating adults and children's palates. We had privacy and, at the same time, someone to assist us when we needed it. Overall, a very, very good experience and a highly recommended property for a day trip and picnic.

The resort offers a beautiful ambience and stunning natural views perfect for a peaceful getaway. The food is delicious and the service is commendable. However, reaching the restaurant takes quite a bit of time as it’s located far from the main area. Still, the overall experience is worth it for those seeking tranquility and good hospitality.

Review: 1/10 Overall bad customer service and experience: 1.Made a reservation ahead of time. Came in at 2pm for check in but our rooms weren't ready until 4:30 so we left to find another resort instead. 2. Pool closes at 6 which doesn't give gustes that are staying in to enjoy quiet swim time wihtout all the crowd during the day. They are very inflexible and hard to talk to 3. Uncoordinated mess. Reception doesnt know anything about pools or any other services which was appalling really. 1 point coz it's a good place to stay close to the valley with great view but they do not care about their customers or guests. We have stayed there before but didn't have to personally deal with them. Now we will never go back there for sure. We can better betetr service and value for money elsewhere.
