"And among the many galleries and art spaces along Bartók Béla Boulevard on the Buda side, you'll find Godot Intézet (the entrance is through a coffee shop), a small and beautiful gallery space with huge circular windows that regularly showcases art by local newcomers. Godot Intézet is associated with Budapest's Godot Galéria, an Independent Museum for Contemporary Art, which is also a worthy stop." - Dobrina Zhekova

It was my first time and I like it. A huge space dedicated to art. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
They introduce Eco ticket (You decide how much you pay) in both cash and card.

This should be in every city! Hungarian artists have always fascinated us, and upon visiting Godot, we see that art is alive and flourishing in Hungary. Absolutely fantastic curated works of art and beautifully presented and explained! An absolute must see if you visit Budapest. I am secretly hoping that we can have a ranch in Vienna :)

Unique and fantastic place. If you like modern art, the museum is actually an artistic thing in itself. Strong undercurrent of futurism in a kind of surrealist manner.

There was no exhibition today, which should be signed better on the website, however the staff was really nice and let us in anyway, eventho there wasn't really anything to see as they were preparing for their next exhibition.

Not the romantic loft gallery one would expect from the communication, nevertheless it's a large space on the ground floor. Circumstances are a bit pop-up style, that might be due to the recent opening. Exhibitions change, so check their site for current info.
