Gogi Korean Kitchen

Came to this place starved right after studying, me and my friend stubblesdupon this shop and noticed the cheap prices. At first we were a little skeptical about the portion but the food came very quickly right after ordering and the portion was perfect for a post study session. Each bite out of the bowls were absolutely BOMB!! it was so good I started rethinking my life. The staff were very helpful and polite and prepared our meals very quickly. The atmosphere was very comforting and warm and the perfect place to feast.

Absolutely lovely Korean food, I had the dosirak and the bibimbap both superb and full of flavour, quick cheerful service, the pickled veggies and japchae was nice as an appetizer. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back

It's definitely 5-star, considering all factors. It's very informal, and the staff is very friendly. We were in early, when they opened, so it was quick service. We ordered the combo Bibimbap Mandu + drink taste, which is a great deal. Another member ordered a BBQ Bowl. If you order the food and pay, they will deliver it to the table if it's not crowded. If not, you can self-pick up when ready. Suggested place for quick value but definitely tasty meals.

Super yummy and affordable katsu bowl here. Excellent portion size for feeling satisfied but not super full. Katsu bowl comes with a fried mandu, sweet potato tempura, mixed greens salad, corn and edamame with a base of rice. Only note is that the katsu was quite fatty but I personally did not mind. Would come again for a quick bite! Also, if you leave a review, you get a free pop - they do not say you have to give a certain number of stars, this review is my honest opinion.

After 8pm and just after settling into our nearby spot, we nearly headed to 8 Ave SW for some late-night bites. But, craving something quick and wanting to hit the hay, we decided to try a different place. To our delight, Gogi Korean Kitchen surprised us with great flavors - beyond our expectations! It's a cozy takeout joint, humble in appearance, but don’t let that fool you. If you're after fantastic taste and great value, I wholeheartedly recommend Gogi Korean Kitchen.

Great value. Food quality higher than average, price good, and portions large. Last time they included a few extra food items that are not normally included in the dish, which was a nice bonus. Food seems healthy. Overall very good value. First picture is bibimbap, second is Dosirak.

I tried the curry bowl and it was delicious. Good portion, good flavor, and friendly staff. I enjoyed my meal and would recommend this place.

Great Korean BBQ. We enjoyed the Katsu Bowl with a side of Mandu, Bibimbop with a side of Takoyaki (not my fav, but my son loved them), BBQ Bowl, and Dosirock. Katsu is the family's favorite, but all are tasty. I jangsa'd (upsized) my bibimbop, and it was worth it. Bathroom was clean. Highly recommend if you are looking for good Korean BBQ.

If you're looking for affordable and tasty Korean food in Calgary, Gogi Korean Kitchen is the place to go! I ordered the Chicken Bibimbap combo and was impressed by the quick service turnaround. Despite having only one waitress, who also served as the cashier, my meal arrived in just 5 minutes. The portion size was generous, more than enough for one person. The chicken bibimbap was fresh and flavorful, packed with fresh veggies that looked just like the menu photo. The combo includes a side (Takoyaki or Mandu) and a regular-sized drink. I chose the takoyaki, which was soft and a perfect complement to the bibimbap. The restaurant's interior has seating for about 15-20 people, with additional outdoor seating available. On busier days, takeout might be your best option. I visited during peak dinner time and was able to find a seat without any trouble. Overall, Gogi Korean Kitchen offers a satisfying dining experience with quick service, generous portions, and delicious food. Highly recommended!

All you can eat korean bbq, except bulgogi ribs were extra. Everything else was good, server came by every couple minutes Seoul korean bbq is $45, but you get the ribs

My family and I were in town for vacation and needed a quick, affordable meal. I'm so glad we went to Gogi for dinner! I ordered the curry bowl with chicken combo, which comes with a drink and your choice of takoyaki or mandu dumplings. I got the takoyaki which was yummy. The curry bowl was also huge and could definitely be shared between 2 people! I also got to try the bulgogi poutine which was a delicious twist on the classic poutine. I like how they didn't skimp out on the meat. We got so much food for less than $20USD, it was amazing!

Food is great, affordable and service is excellent. Ordering online is very easy. The Ambiance is very nice too

I had the chicken mayo bowl and the mantang (house-made thick potato chips with a sweet, buttery sauce- it's not savoury which takes some getting used to). The bowl was gorgeous and good value- my meal was well under $20 and was alone in the dining room at around 5pm on a holiday Monday and the room is clean with good K-pop at a reasonable volume- very comfortable! I'm giving them 5 star because service was exceptionally excellent, friendly and knowledgable, and I had a nice chat with the staff (2 Korean men and one Japanese woman) and I felt so welcome. Note this this isn't affliated with Gogi Korean Barbecue on 4 St NW.

The service was nice. Clean and big place. Good for quick dining or togos. We tried the Bulgogi Poutine which was good. Wish there was more meat/bulgogi but the sauce was good and the combination was good.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The food was prepared quickly but well prepared! I highly recommend this place. Will come back when visiting Calgary.

I assumed for a niche place like this that was going to be high quality but small portions. I went in and only ordered the Bul-go-ghi poutine figuring I'd have a nice snack and have a more filling lunch at A&W. No need. There was a lot of fries on this. The sauce/gravy was really good. My only thing I would like to see is maybe less fries and a little more beef. Other than that. Excellent. Staff was super friendly
