"A Breakfast of Housemade Pastries People dream of European bakeries, lining the city streets, emitting delicious smells day in and day out. However, the truth is, in Spain a good bakery can be hard to find. Gogoko Goxuak is the newest addition to San Sebastián 's café scene. They boast a great location for people watching, as well as artisan baked goods."
Good "bakery". We had a nice snack at this place. Super simple food that tasted great.

The service was awful. The man that served us was rude, we asked for a piece of cheesecake and he gave it to us smooshed and completely destroyed. At least the cheesecake was good.

Yelp
Lots of baked selections here. We were told by a staff member that their popular items are the cheesecake, which was crustless and had fruit in it, and the rosquillas, which was shaped liked a small donut. We loved the cheesecake. A bit drier than an American cheesecake. But it was delicious. The rosquillas was a bit dry for me. Not sure what the flavor was, maybe anise.

Yelp
So far my favorite place to eat breakfast in Donostia. The place it's always buzzing with conversations and great background music. I stayed in Urban House next door, which made it great to wake up and go down for a cup of coffee and a tostada con tomate y aceite. It has a lot of windows, letting a lot of light into the place and warming it up during the mornings. The only downside is that they don't have WIFI, which is a shame. Beside that, the place is great to sit back before starting your day.
