After a long day of sightseeing and hiking Cassandra's smile at the front desk was just what I needed to brighten up my evening! 😊 She was warm, friendly and immediately made me welcomed! 🤗 I had a room with an ocean view and a fireplace which made made my stay very cozy. A few minor repairs were evidently required in my room, but nothing major. It was very clean which is what I look for. 😉 It definitely has a rustic feel, but I love rustic hotels. 🪵 Thank you for everything Cassandra! 🙏 You made my stay worthwhile! 💕

They have a Groupon that made the hotel very affordable. I had a question about if you could use a debit card at the hotel instead of a credit card so I called the hotel. I asked the lady my question and she goes off trying to upsell me. I finally said “Look. We’re buying it the other way because we can do it through Afterpay. My client’s mom is trying to do something nice for them. Their favorite thing is to sit on a balcony, watch the ocean, and eat McDonalds.” Then she continues to try and upsell me, never answering my simple question. Then she tells me that we might not even get the room for the night we want if I get the Groupon offer. If that’s the case, why was Groupon setting up the reservation? Then she tells me “Well, you could save up the money before you get here.” She had zero business saying that. I never felt so insulted. The worst part? Mom is a widowed mom with special needs kids and she’s on a tight budget. I absolutely will not ever stay here if that’s their idea for customer service.

I typically write reviews when the experience was wonderful or awful. This was pretty bad. Never have I ever paid $300 for a room for there to be smushed dead spiders on the wall when I entered my room or have 3 feet of mold in the caulking along the tub in the bathroom or so many cobwebs in the room. It wasn’t necessarily dirty but I did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed so I slept in my sleeping bag on the bed. The location is great, the service is average, but the cabin was less than satisfactory. For these reasons, I can’t recommend this place to people. If you are to stay here, my take is the cabins are not worth the money, stay in a $80 room. I’m extremely disappointed 2 nights came to $660. Lesson learned.

Great stay. The room was very nice...its been updated. The price was excellent. They do need to make a very inviting smoking area away from the main rooms. Some guests were smoking weed and the rooms do not have AC so the windows have to be opened. I complained and the desk did call and make people stop smoking on the windward side. But the leeward side still wreaked. I made a suggestion to a staff member to create a place smokers would want to congregate and the boy had a melt down emotionally. He was almost in tears and quickly ran away and slammed a door. I was kind too, I just made a suggestion to fix a very common problem. Despite the staff - the price, nice view, access to the beach, and quality of the room makes this a good motel. The breakfast was not bad either. I hope they are successful, some care has been put into the place.

This is more than expected, great staff, Cassandra checked us in and was very nice and professional, gave us a lot of info about the area. There's a small but pretty good breakfast included and fresh fruit, we had a room on ground floor and the ocean view was great! There is a pool and hot tub but both were closed for maintenance😪. The property is close to stores and restaurants and right on the beach. ( short walk ) room was clean and everything worked, will go back again. 😃👍

1.). We arrived around 9pm most of the exterior lights were off and it was difficult and dangerous to find our room. Thank goodness our neighbors in 103 left their blinds opened.... The next day I asked the neighbor to please close their blinds when they were sleeping.|He got upset and told me that I was very rude.|2). Upon first glance the room looked updated and clean. Upon closer observation, all of the windows and mirrors had a streaks of filth. It appeared that housekeeping used a dirty sponge on all of the surfaces. The fan for the kitchen had cooking debris all over the bottom.|3). The floors were covered with a sticky residue.|4). Dust was all over the top of the headboard of the bed.|5). There was dog hair on the couch.|6). The bath had a filth ring and the drain was clogged. Not possible to bathe, the shower worked fine if you don't mind standing in dirty water...|7). We had 1 towel to share and housekeeping never checked in on us.|8.) the garden was unkept; the hot tubs were all closed no water and in disarray,, and locked up tight. The ocean view was almost nonexistent.|9.) I was charged an additional $100 with no explanation. |10). I have tried to call them several times with no answer and no voicemail!!!

My stay at this inn was extremely disappointing. The room was in a deplorable state. The bedding had blood stains, the mirrors and fan were caked with dirt, and the walls, carpet, and chairs were covered in stains. In the bathroom, the sink was clogged. The room was also incredibly uncomfortable due to a lack of basic amenities. The windows were small, and there was no AC, making the room uncomfortably hot. The curtains were broken, and we had to keep the door open to get some air. A major reason we booked this inn was for the hot tubs, but they were closed during our entire stay. While the beautiful beach access was a highlight, the overall condition of the inn was a huge letdown. It seems this place was once nice but has since been neglected.

Google
We got a room Sunday Sept 21st around 8pm. Called ahead and was quoted $150 over the phone but went their website said $85 so we tried that route and it worked! For $85, I thought it was great. It wasn’t ocean view but we still had big windows and you could tell the room had been renovated and had some amenities (fridge, microwave, little coffee thing). Everything was clean with. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but the room was.

Yelp
This place (GBI) used to be much better, but I believe it is corporate owned now and has really gone downhill. I don't blame the staff, as I am sure they are grossly underpaid and it's quite obvious that ownership does not provide them with the resources they need to make this a quality hotel anymore. Here is what to expect if you choose to stay here: -No ice, machine looks like it hasn't worked in a very long time -No hot tubs, and they too obviously haven't been available for years -No AC, which in the summer months would be nice -No fitness room -Office is closed most of the time -Breakfast doesn't start until 7:30 and isn't very good except for the fruit -Walls are paper thin. If you stay in one of the rooms by the office, you hear logging trucks all night long, along with the occasional meth head screaming right outside your room or kids yelling in the next room -Not very clean, thick layer of dust on fridge, visible mold on windows, dirt line under Kleenex box on bathroom sink, funky smell It does have a great sandy beach out back, good parking for large vehicles, and a good location in GB. Ownership just needs to step up and make this place good again.

Yelp
The room was extremely clean. The view amazing. We booked it through the hotel directly which was cheaper than hotel.com. The kitchenette was stocked with anything you would need to dine in. The only problem was the person above us. They were extremely noisy. That was not the hotels fault, just unfortunate for us.

Yelp
Favorite place to stay in Southern Oregon. Remodeled rooms are extremely clean with cable tv and fast internet. Two hot tubs with shower and towels near the beach are delightful. Pet friendly. Beach is a very short walk from your room through the sand and grasses. All staff are very kind and helpful. Nice TV, Fan, small fridge, microwave, lots of USB and electric outlets! Bring your own hangers for the clothing rack. Bed is a bit firm but after a day outside hiking, swimming, exploring, you will still sleep well. Generally quiet. Breakfast each day is a nice touch.

Yelp
Main reason we booked this place is for hottub with ocean views and hottub has been out of service for god knows how long. We booked a room through third party and it said ocean views, nope. Room is hot and stuffy and no way to control temperature. Towels are cheap and the rents not.

Yelp
We stayed here yesterday, as they had vacancy and the price was $90 for the night vs $225 at Best Western. I used my points at best western tonight and to be honest, the Gold Beach Inn room is just as clean and more updated. There is no AC, so you'll need to open the windows to drop the temp. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, eggs and potatoes with some assorted pastries. I'd save a Benjamin and stay here.

Yelp
My husband and I were on a road trip and decided to stay here one night.I read it was remodeled, it definitely was not. 1st off I always wear flip flops in the room thank goodness because I stepped on something in between the beds on the carpet it was a fish hook caught in the carpet. So if you throughly cleaned a room how could you miss this? Bathroom had broken window and missing piece on back of the toilet. And last complaint I took a shower and grabbed a towel..looked like poop stain grabbed another it was dingy and didn't smell fresh, but no other towel available. We were at front desk and rang the large bell 4 or 5 times waited for someone no response. So would not recommend. Also while getting hook out of the carpet glanced under beds you've got to be kidding me, dirty.

Yelp
We thought this was a nice little place right on the Pacific, the staff were very nice. it was clean and comfortable, the bed and pillows were comparable to a Hyatt!

Yelp
What an amazing view what an amazing room what an amazing staff. First Nathan help me get the right room for our needs and then Kelsey called to let us know our room was ready. Both were beyond Friendly went over the top to help and had exceptional customer service. We are very happy and will be back. Not sure if we'll be here for breakfast but what a great free option to save a little money in the morning.

Laura G.

Yelp
First time we stayed there, it was great. We had the view od the ocean off our balcony. No AC but with the door to the balcony open, it was great. This time, not so much. We had the 'garden' room. It had a garden window that had a great view of the parking lot. We left the windows open but the cigarette smoke wanted up through the windows all the time. The people below us were chain smokers. The room wasn't the cleanest ' one of the folded towels provided had what looked like make up on it - like it had been shown the washer but not put in it. The staff weren't as nice either. In fact, kind of rude. The morning breakfast provided had no food. The saunas weren't working. Just disappointment. We will probably give them one more chance. Maybe this stay was just one off.

Yelp
I tried booking a midweek at the Gold Beach Inn because they're situated near one of our favorite restaurants on the coast and had all the amenities we were looking for. But reading their reviews was a cause for some trepidation with respect to their business practices and the condition of their rooms and amenities. So I emailed ahead of time to request assurances that our room would be clean and all of their listed amenities would be available and functional. I received no response to either my original message or the follow up I sent the next day. More than a huge red flag, this tells me that they are knowingly publishing rates, conditions and amenities that they are incapable of providing. I contacted several other properties, all of whom had no problem assuring me that their advertised amenities would be available and functional as advertised. So I went ahead and booked one of them. I would strongly encourage others to avoid this property -- or any property -- who cannot at least guarantee that the amenities they advertise will actually be available when you check in.

Yelp
Needed to stay a night. Booked online looking for cheap. Wasn't expecting much with the low-mid reviews. Turns out it's a hidden gem imo. Had a cheap room, no view but the room was dead quiet, the mattress was solid and perfect and the water pressure in the shower was really awesome. Plus... in the morning I wandered to the lobby and they had a really great breakfast bar with scrambled eggs and potatoes and plenty of juices and bagels, etc.. Very good. Staff is low key, friendly and humble. They said they're renovating a bit at a time. Will stay there again and get one of the fancy rooms overlooking the ocean.

Joyce G.

Yelp
A dump. If you want a decent hotel, don't book this one. None of ice machines worked. No cleaning your room daily. If you want fresh towels you must hike up the hill to the office. Never again.
google avatar

Vanessa V.

Yelp
Basic hotel. Staff were friendly. But definitely a hotel where you just need to sleep and shower, which is what we used it for. If that's what's you're looking for, this should cover that necessity.

Yelp
This place was disgusting and completely misleading. We were not told that there were "cabin" options and all of this pictures showed the upgraded room. We were put in one of the "cabins" which was dingy, DARK, and so disgusting. There was mold in the drawer, stains on the bedding, and the bathroom was tiny and dirty. We could barely see in the room the whole time we were there the room was so dark. The front door also barely closed, we had to get a running start to get it to close. There were a million spider webs in the entrance to our room the windows barely opened. This was literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The only thing I will say nice about this hotel is the staff was nice. I don't blame them at all, I blame the cheap misleading owner/management. I would NEVER recommend this hotel and if you are planning on staying in Gold Beach, please look for another place!

Nikki D.

Yelp
Never even stayed here. Showed up a hr and half past check in. Told us our room wasn't ready after driving 7 hrs for our anniversary. Tells us it will take approx 45 min to get room ready. I started reading on-line reviews with pic's attached. I thought we were going to fall through rickety steps just trying to get up to room. Landing looked like it was last swept in72. Open the door and the smell was old mold or something. My opinion just a dump. I said I am not staying here. Still charged us for the pos room!! Got a refund for other two nights. Bad business and a total dump. DO NOT AND REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The only way to improve this place is tear it down and stop ripping people off!

Cathy V.

Yelp
Remodeled? Toilet paperholder fell off wall. Bathtub would not hold water. Bathroom door would not close due to water damage. Paid $225 for two days, requested ocean view. Gave ground floor, it took a lot to find view between trees. Used to be nice. Outside in severe need of care.

Ray J.

Yelp
I booked a cabin here as a Christmas gift to my partner who has stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was doing well after chemo and it had been a year since we had gotten away. I booked a cabin for two nights at a winter special that I didn't realize was a "non refundable" room. My partner took a turn for the worse a day before we were to leave . So I contacted the Inn and explained the circumstances. I was told that the refund could not be given. I even said that I would pay a cancellation fee or one night. The clerk said, no refunds. I asked to speak with the manager only to be told "He is not here but he would tell you the same thing". When did a service industry remove compassion and understanding from their rule book. Never will we return!

Yelp
Ya no.....beware..Rustic Lodge sign says renovated...old rooms, unclean, couch stained, bathroom not clean, blinds filthy, no air conditioning, musty..pass...

Yelp
I do not recommend this hotel. Did not provide services as recommended and place smelled like marijuana.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Stood in a pet friendly cottage room. The room looked like a little cabin and had a fire pit. The room was not the same room as advertised on Expedia. The photos of the cottage room we saw on Expedia looked more modern/spacious. Further, the room's bath tub would not drain. It was clogged pretty badly. I had to scoop buckets of water out of it and had to turn the shower head on and off throughout my shower to prevent water from accumulating. Overall, the room would have been okay if it wasn't for the bathtub flooding issue and the false advertisements. I did enjoy being so close to the ocean however.
google avatar

Pat S.

Yelp
Not a place to stay by any means. Smelly, outdated lodges with literal bugs and cockroaches crawling around. Service is miserable with very rude and inhospitable staff. As if, they forgot they are in the business of hospitality. Such a shame, as for such a beautiful location with a nice walk to the beach, there is so much potential that is wasted with the ownership's negligence and overall hatred of their guests. They say there's a "spa", but it's just a dirty, cold pool. No hot tub or "spa" of any kind. As others have mentioned, they will try to hit you with hidden fees once you've checked out. I would genuinely suggest avoiding this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Was greeted by a friendly lady upon arrival checking in. This was our first time staying here, so wasn't sure what to expect. The outside of the hotel buildings are pretty ran down and could use some tlc. But the inside was updated and clean. The beds were super hard, unfortunately. The hot tubs were freezing, and there were only 2 that were working. It was more like a cold swimming pool instead.Had a small continental breakfast with coffee or water to drink. No juice which was a bummer. This place wouldn't be my first choice to stay at again but would if I was in a pinch.

Yelp
We stayed in the Ocean View Pet Friendly room for our mom's birthday road trip up the coast. Gold Beach Inn was prefect! Beautiful clean room with curtains opened up to ocean view. Cute little patio in front of our room to relax and watch the sunset. Along with a quick small walking pathway straight to the beach from our room door. Perfect birthday weekend getaway with our fur baby!
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
Pretty gross. Take one look at the carpet in the lobby and you know where you're at. The room was filthy in terms of crumbs on the floor, sticky dining table. They advertise "renovated" -- it's not. At all.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about GBI. I'm upstairs in the main unit with a pretty sweet ocean view. There's a private balcony, a couple of lounge chairs, a new large flatscreen, two queens, a fridge and microwave in the closet for only $119 off-season midweek. Hard to beat that as a value proposition. Bearing in mind that price point, you wouldn't accuse the room of being up to date. One of the mattresses is in good shape, the other is not. The recliners kind of work and they smell bad. But there's that $119 price point. WiFi is great, two sinks in the bathroom, and so what if it's dated decor? I appreciate that the use of dryer sheets is minimal compared to many other motels. On the other hand, bright outdoor security lighting, thin curtains, and a bright blinking status light on the smoke alarm over the beds mean you'll require an eye shade to sleep if you are at all light sensitive. This is a smoking property. If you don't smoke, you won't want to open the windows. So for $119: I give it a pass. But we won't stay here again, it's too dirty.
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
Great view from the room... Excellent location being right on the beach and the hot tubs were pretty nice... The rooms were updated, but ours had a very bad smell to it... I tried to upgrade the room, but they said they were sold out. If it wasn't for that smell, I would give this place five stars for the price location and updated rooms but that smell made me drop it down two stars.
google avatar

Adam A.

Yelp
I have come here 4 times in the past 5 years and the main hotel rooms are decent especially that they have been upgrading them now. As for the condos... stay far far away. Recently had a condo with 3 beds from them. It was from their Ireland Rustic Lodge which is now owned by Gold Beach Inn. Found dead bugs on carpet, dog hairs all over the couch and literally no lights around the condo making it very scary for the kids and unsafe in general. The front door main lock was also broken hanging by a thread it seemed. I brought these things up To the front desk and I was told that these properties were recently purchased and they would be renovating them in the coming months. Thats all fine and dandy except What does that do for my issues now? 25 dollars off. Woopty woo. All in all I don't recommend this place as it no longer holds a good standard for customer service and the Pacific Reef inn next door was far better in comparison when I stayed there last year and much better ocean view. Perhaps I may change my mind next year when I see these so called renovations but I won't be holding my breath. Breakfast by the way consists of bagels, toast some cereals and some juices. Nothing exciting. Basic staple. Also had the pleasure of a few spider or bed bug bites while I slept.
google avatar

Lindsay W.

Yelp
I had a wonderful stay in the Ireland Villas at Gold Beach Inn. My room was clean and I enjoyed the nautical decor, so fitting for the location. My view was beautiful and I enjoyed sitting on my balcony watching the sunrise and sunset. The proximity to the ocean was perfect for catching the low tide and quick trips to enjoy the beach. The breakfast was a nice addition and while I didn't participate often during my trip, it was tasty when I did. The staff was so warm and quick to tend to any needs I had. The grounds are beautiful and I loved the diversity of plants. This really is a beautiful place to enjoy Gold Beach!

Rhiannon L.

Yelp
Our room had no hand soap (during a pandemic), no tissues and one plastic cup (for a room with two Queen beds - four people). Of course, there was no staff on-site to assist. Those oversights would not make me post reviews, but it speaks to management's care of the property and their customers. The next day, I had itchy bites on my arms, legs and neck. In looking at previous reviews, the management were told 3 weeks ago that other guests experienced bed bug bites in the same room (403)!! Do NOT stay here, under any circumstances! The itching and anxiety about taking these bugs home is overwhelming. It just makes it worse that the staff was told and did nothing...just continued to put other families at risk. Avoid this place at all costs!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent location with the beach only a path away. Renovated ocean facing rooms are large with kitchen, good bathroom w/tub. Large TV on the wall and didn't have wires hanging out for the power or antenna, a real plus. King bed with good mattress. USB charging stations on night tables. Convenient reading light. Very clean. Included breakfast was one of the best of any motel we have been to. Eggs that tasted like eggs, potatoes cut into perfect sized pieces with excellent seasoning. All the other breakfast items also, yogurt, etc. but on paper plates and plastic forks, etc. Friendly staff. Easy parking only a few feet from our room. Lots of grass for dogs. TV channels good. Only down side was that covid has cut the traffic so the spa/hot tubs, etc was closed and had been for some time and in bad shape but quite a ways from the rooms. A little foot noise from the room above. WiFi was weak so we tethered to our phones. Will be back. $90 for the room and our dog plus included breakfast.

Sasha C.

Yelp
I was going to book a room on Sunday when I was in the area so I dropped by the office. There was a guest checking in so I went to the other side of the room to wait my turn. There was a big sign near the desk talking about covid safety protocols but the receptionist had no mask on at all. While I was waiting, another hotel employee entered the office area through an employee door. She was unmasked, too. I glanced at the door frame near the handle on the door she entered through and it was black with grime around the handle area I am high risk for covid and was taking a leap of faith in taking a little holiday and staying in a motel. After seeing this, I left without booking. If they are that lax on safety and cleanliness in the office, I can't imagine what the rooms are like and I wouldn't have felt confident staying there.

Ronald J.

Yelp
Nice place, nice people, great view, comfy bed, good breakfast included. And Queso the mascot was a very cute puppy.

Kaiana S.

Yelp
DISGUSTING!! Do not stay here!!!!! This is what our new sheets and pillow cases look liked after we called and had them bring us new ones... absolutely disgusting, especially during Covid where places should be extra clean. Very unacceptable. I will update if we get bedbugs, I'm sure we will so be ready for my update and picture. UGH.

Grace L.

Yelp
We were going to get to town late and on our reservation it said to call ahead to make plans if you were going to be there past 11. We called over a dozen times and no one picked up. We had to call the hotel next to gold beach to see if they could also get ahold of them. With no luck and us not wanting to lose our money or reservation, we sped the whole way down the coast to get here a few minutes before 11. Turns out they close up shop at 9 and didn't update that on their website or call us and let us know that they had made other arrangements. So that's two strikes from us and on top of that, the room is nice and redone, but there is no AC. So, I don't recommend them for their customer service or their comfort.
google avatar

Katherine F.

Yelp
No WiFi - False advertising - Apathetic customer service Checked into my room an hour before an important Zoom meeting and couldn't get on the wifi. Called the front desk, which had me go through a number of different logins and passcodes - none of which worked. I was told that the problem was being worked on. Well, it wasn't and I missed my meeting. No follow-up from the front desk, which never notified management. When checking out, spoke with the manager, who commented, "Oh, that's an old router in that building." What? Is that MY problem? Why was "free wifi" advertised when there wasn't any? I was given a small discount, but strongly caution anyone who might absolutely require wifi, heat, air conditioning, hot water, electricity or whatever else you might assume comes with a room.
google avatar

Elisia R.

Yelp
Awful. The room was 82 degrees F when we checked in... when I called the desk about this, the woman told me that "it gets toasty in the office too" and to just open a window. Woken up after midnight because it is still so warm - the thermostat read 79 degrees!! This time when I called to ask for a. Fan, no one picked up. Two thumbs down! It's close to the beach, but I hate this hotel!!!
google avatar

J. W.

Yelp
Their website includes "End the day with a relaxing dip in one of our three beach facing hot tubs". Even though there is a disclaimer, these tubs are in complete disrepair and until they are an actual amenity "highlighting" them is misleading. "Come back to a tasty complimentary breakfast" is also disappointing, regardless of their disclaimer. We were on the road for over two weeks all throughout the Pacific Northwest and stayed in numerous locations. Everywhere we went, where a complimentary breakfast was offered, hotels were being COVID safe, creative and hospitable, putting together a modified service or a grab-and-go breakfast bag. There seems to be no reason why they are not providing their guests with some effort to offer at the very least a granola bar and a fruit cup. Rooms have been comfortably renovated. Hotel exterior and grounds are in disrepair.

Yelp
We were a little nervous about staying here since they were so much cheaper than the Brookings hotels, but we took a chance and am so glad we did! This place was lovely. Is it a little run down? Yes. However the inside was just fine. Clean beds, microwave, fridge, hot water, plenty of room. Short walk via path to the beach. They do offer breakfast, but ended up just going out to breakfast due to the lack of options. Overall for the price-great spot to stay at the beach!

Yelp
I absolutely love this hotel. It's cute, it's comfortable, and it's got views. The girls working at the front desk and the groundsman are all friendly and welcoming. If you're coming to Gold Beach and not trying to spend $500 a night, this is your spot.

Yelp
The cleanliness outside (stairs and hallways) gets a 1 star. The cleanliness of the lobby also a 1 star. We had one of the redone rooms. It had a new floor and carpet and furnishings. Those were not too bad. Although it didn't seem cleaned well (dirt in bathroom corners etc). The pillows made me nervous because the pillow cases were so thin and the cleanliness of the Inn just didn't seem to be good overall. There is a balcony with a lovely 4 star view. Also a short walk to the ocean which deserves a 4 star. However the balcony also had cleanliness issues. The floor was filthy. I suppose in a pinch it's not horrible but I was anxious to leave and stay in a hotel I felt more comfortable in.

Yelp
Wow, wonderful place to stay. It's located in a great safe area, our room was a less than 2 minute walk away from the beach, front desk staff was very polite and flexible. Overall, we loved the quaintness of the rooms and wooden features.

Yelp
The room we were promised was not the room we had. We were put in a "Rustic Lodge." It was Rustic, alright. For 1. We get to the room, and the bed was not made, no towels, no liners in the trash. It looked like they just stopped half way through cleaning it. We go say something to the front desk, and they were like "Oh we must have put you in the wrong room." They gave us another room which was again back at the lodge and not the room we were promised. When I went to the front desk, they pretty much said "well thats what you booked, so there is nothing we can do." (It's not the room we booked). The fireplaces not only didn't work properly but blew out the whole glass piece when we started it. No bathtub, no soap to wash our hands. We didn't even see them the rest of our trip. They didn't replenish our towels on day 2. The ice machine was broke, and when we went to the front desk to let them know, they were all out front smoking a joint. At that point, I was so frustrated that I almost joined the circle. Waaay to overpriced for 1 star service.

Yelp
Save yourself, your vacation, & your money and STAY AWAY from these people. The "lodges" are outdated with spiders and bugs crawling around. There's an odor in the rooms. Our bed was broken. Not to mention, they will try to hit you with a bunch of fees at the end of your stay. This is a scammy little business that doesn't deserve to serve the public. Book elsewhere and enjoy your vacation, because if you stay here it will ruin a few days of your time on vacation. Not to mention, the employees and owners are so so rude, it's incredible. They really give Oregon a bad name with how terrible their demeanor and customer service is. Just up the road you'll find much nicer, cordial people who genuinely want you to enjoy your time and stay. The way this place is so run down, outdated, old and smelly should have been a red flag on its own but the owners & employees were just the icing on the cake for a terrible time and waste of money at the disappointing and scam Gold Beach Inn.

Yelp
floors seem to not have been vacuumed in years. we found a bag of cocaine underneath the bed. Also there are brown drips down the bathroom walls that could be shit? i don't really know. TV is outdated AF

Yelp
My room mate and I decided to stay on a coastal hotel whilst driving up to Portland for spring term. We booked a room here not only for the price but the beach and hot tub. The booking process left us confused and didn't even charge us BUT DID SEND A CONFIRMATION. We were driving all day from California and arrived at around 9, that's when the issues became worse. At no point during the booking process or inquiry to the establishment did we come across any recognition of the front desk closing at 9 O CLOCK PM. We showed up to the front desk at around 9:20pm and it was completely locked and dark inside, we then headed to the adjacent hotel (the rustic portion of the inn) to see if there was another front desk to check in at, which there wasn't. At this point, we were frantic, the one place we were going to stay at was apparently closed?? We stayed in the parking lot and called 10 times with no response and weren't even given an option to leave a voicemail. After circling the confusing, dark, and unmarked buildings, we finally decided to just book a room at the SureStay just down the block which was not only fast to respond, but booked us immediately. They were sweet, kind, and overall gave us a great experience. Although the SureStay was slightly more expensive, they were beyond helpful and even let us have a late check out for arriving at an untimely hour. If you need a hotel to stay at, AVOID GOLD BEACH INN. They are absolutely horrendous and will treat you like trash. We are unsure if we will get a refund and had to end up leaving an email clarifying we even showed up to claim the reservation we made days ago. Fuck you Gold Beach Inn.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE Right out of an Ozark Episode! This place is horrible. They are at 10% capacity. Management lied about being full. The hot tubs in the pictures are so overgrown with bushes, they haven't been open for a long time. We have a room over the lobby and laundry room, when they have 80% of rooms open and we requested a ocean front room. No hair dryer, no sugar or cream for the coffee. Had to ask for a second set of towels and washcloths. Stains on the sheets and walls are paper thin. Very frustrated at this point!

Yelp
Wonderful friendly staff that was very adaptable too our situation of needing lodging with no prior reservation. Was welcoming too our service dog and allowed us too rent a private rustic suite. Nice clean and cozy comfortable atmosphere.
