Gold By Marina Hotel

Immaculately clean hotel centrally located with all of the resort attractions within an easy 10 minute walk. Staff are all friendly and welcoming and are obviously proud of keeping the standards high across the hotel. Our room was spacious and bright and although the bathroom was a little tight, the huge shower made up for it. Breakfast was superb, loads of choice for every taste, hot and cold with eggs cooked to order. Being served until 12 added to the very relaxed feel in the hotel. The pools were also immaculate, never an issue finding a really comfortable sunbed, no matter what time you needed one. Pool bar with a great selection of drinks and cocktails which were all tasty, even had free popcorn which was a nice touch. The team made a great effort for Halloween, decorations, food and special cocktails, all greatly appreciated. We made the mistake of not eating at the pool until our last day, which was a shame as it was very tasty with good options, should have done it sooner. |There was a good mix of people, from all walks of life, nationalities and ages which made it a pleasant atmosphere. If I was being really picky, I would have liked to have seen a bit more life in the evenings, although I guess with the variety of options on the doorstep this is difficult to achieve.|Overall a five star experience and if I am ever to return to the island there is only one hotel I will book, thanks to all involved in providing a fantastic break!

This is the second time we've need to Gold by Marina, and the place is great. Location is amazing few meters from Yumbo, and the service is very good and super friendly. The breakfast is great, very diverse, and always replenished. Just 2 comments : it's strange that the room safe costs extra (5euros!) per night, it should be common thing. And then the gym: I know it's a hotel, but the gym is so small that maybe only 2 people can stand up inside. I would expect a bigger facility for a similar size hotel. Plus: The sauna and jakuzi on the rooftop are amazing :)

2nd time staying at this hotel and we will definitely be back again. Spotlessly clean. Staff are amazing - so friendly and professional. Breakfast is excellent. We spent same days on the beach but on days we went to the pool no issue getting bed. highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in a superior room on 7th floor this time with a lovely view. 4th floor last time - also a great view.

Booked as a last minute trip with husband. Such an excellent location, right beside a supermarket, down the road from the Yumbo Centre and the other direction was the beach. You felt close to everything yet you felt detached in the hotel… Super chill vibe. The hotel was genuinely better than some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in…Very clean throughout all areas of the hotel. Beautiful decor and great staff. Staff checked in to make sure everything was good (that’s never happened before). Pool bar/ restaurant top notch. Absolutely loved the cabanas. Also never had an issue getting a sun lounger etc.|Room was a good size and added bonus of kitchen (although we didn’t use it). Have recommended this hotel to others already due to fantastic service and great value for money!

As promised we stayed here again on our second trip to PDI. And once again the hotel did not disappoint. Mostly the same staff and the same positive vibes. They are all just so friendly and professional. Room was spotless as before and we upgraded this time to the 7th floor with a lovely view. Pool lovely and always able to get beds. Breakfast once again gorgeous and plentiful.||We are already planning our next trip and will be staying here again.

Our last night here today, and already looking to book back here again, the hotel is fantastic, the staff are always welcoming and very friendly, the location is brilliant the breakfast from 8am till 12 means even if you've had a few to many the night before 😉 you can still grab a bite to eat, such a relaxed atmosphere. Loved every minute of it.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel and once again we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean, breakfast is great and the staff is amazing. The are all very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay more enjoyable. Special thanks to Eugenio (the bartender) who always had a smile on his face and was quick with a joke:) We will be back!

Fantastic hotel. Very clean and well maintained throughout. Our room was a great size with a good balcony, and had everything we needed. Lovely breakfast served from 8am until midday. Only downside was getting a sunbed as towels would appear from the crack of dawn. It would be good if the hotel tried to stop this. Good location wit lh an easy walk to the beach and local attractions.
