Gold By Marina Hotel

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one week, and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room cleaning service was always amazing, everyone was smily and welcoming and never doubtful to help. In addition, the breakfast buffet was extraordinary. My girlfriend has celiac disease so she can’t have gluten. The staff in the restaurant were very aware of how important the condition is and always helped us get gluten free bread and other food right from the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. We would like to thank Andrea specifically for her patience with us in the mornings! The other guests were so nice and respectful, the pool area was always clean, and the overall vibe of the hotel exceeded our expectations! We totally recommend this hotel! On a side note, the hotel is very very central, walking distance to the beach, and to all big centers.

From the moment you walk in the hotel and into your room, it smells absolutely lovely. We were welcomed so friendly. We want to express special thanks to Melania and Christian, you hold a special place in our hearts! The rooms are immaculate, thank you Diana❤️ . The breakfast is amazing! Absolutely so much to choose from. Breakfast is until 12pm and everything is filled also up till 12pm. A big thank you to our favorite cook Laura, huge smile super friendly and makes the best omelet!!! The grounds are immaculate, clean and inviting and this must be the very best hotel we have been to ever!

This is the second time we've need to Gold by Marina, and the place is great. Location is amazing few meters from Yumbo, and the service is very good and super friendly. The breakfast is great, very diverse, and always replenished. Just 2 comments : it's strange that the room safe costs extra (5euros!) per night, it should be common thing. And then the gym: I know it's a hotel, but the gym is so small that maybe only 2 people can stand up inside. I would expect a bigger facility for a similar size hotel. Plus: The sauna and jakuzi on the rooftop are amazing :)

2nd time staying at this hotel and we will definitely be back again. Spotlessly clean. Staff are amazing - so friendly and professional. Breakfast is excellent. We spent same days on the beach but on days we went to the pool no issue getting bed. highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in a superior room on 7th floor this time with a lovely view. 4th floor last time - also a great view.

Another fabulous stay at GOLD. We stayed in the super junior suite which is our favourite room with gorgeous views. We loved the little extras like bottle of wine, some craft beers and the invitation to a drinks evening which was lovely. The breakfast is perfect, love the freshly made omlettes buffet selection and available until midday which suits us as we're two night owls. What we love most about the hotel is its relaxed vibe, which is a testament to the very friendly staff. It's our happy place and we can't wait to go back in 2026, already booked.

Fantastic hotel. Very clean and well maintained throughout. Our room was a great size with a good balcony, and had everything we needed. Lovely breakfast served from 8am until midday. Only downside was getting a sunbed as towels would appear from the crack of dawn. It would be good if the hotel tried to stop this. Good location wit lh an easy walk to the beach and local attractions.

We had a fabulous stay. The rooms were fantastic. The staff were amazing. Admittedly Gran Canaria is not for me, but I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants good quality and good value for money. If this hotel had been poor it would have really ruined the trip. But luckily for us, it was our savior. 5/10 min walk to the beach strip.

Been staying at this Adults only Hotel for 10 years . The manager and staff have that ability to make you feel so welcome and valued . They are very guest focused and will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay . The hotel has a lovely relaxed vibe which is welcoming and relaxing . We love the pool area and the roof top terrace with sauna and hot tub . The hotel is positioned nicely with a short walk to the beach and easy access to restaurants and bars . The hotel serves breakfast until midday and food available around the pool until 4.30 pm .

GOLD by Marina hotel in Playa del ingles is down as a 4 star hotel, and it is...but a top 4 star. Staff: 95% are very welcoming and polite, all spoke English, and we observed a few could speak other languages with the same fluid ease as their native Spanish. Room: airy, contemporary, large shower area, functional kitchenette, cleaned almost daily, made-up daily, with fresh towels and bedding throughout the week. Not too much noise either considering we had a room near a road not of other guests. Restaurant: We had breakfast booked everyday, with a 4 hour run even after a 'party' night out you would make it, they had everything you wanted, with chiefs ready to cook your eggs the only way you want them. As a vegetarian I was very happy with what they could provide for the first meal of the day (Vegans you would struggle, but this is Spain). We also had a few days around the pool-side, and so selected some lunchtime food to keep us going through the arduous day in the sun, again it was really very good food, and as a veterinarian there's a choice for me. Pool/Sun worshipping: two pools, the long pool tended to be quieter, but there's a mix of sunning areas and also comfortable shaded areas to hide from the mid-day sun, as we had too from time to time. Also the bar/restaurant very close to hand with some tables and chairs if you didn't feel like eating at you sun loungers. Overall, it's a very good hotel to stay at, and we would be happy to return too, which is something we don't normally do, but we aren't done with Gran Canaria just yet. Close to beach, and Yumbo Centre. 10 out of 10 from us....

Perfect. Wonderful adult only hotel. Highly recommended for anyone needing a child-free holiday. Loved the decor. Rooms well appointed and clean. Breakfast buffet choice almost overwhelming. Only choice for my next trip to GC.
