Gold Hotel

My wife and I travel a lot and have seen it all. We know how to value things at their fair price. We must value things fairly, taking into account all the circumstances.In this case, it was a scam. Although the stay was affordable, we booked it because it had a terrace, pool, dining room, etc., none of this exists, even though they show it in their photos and offer these services on their website.Not to mention that nothing works, not even the shower or the electrical outlets. Everything is so dirty and so old.

Actually, I don't want to rate it even 1 star because it doesn't deserve my star. Firstly they don't change the sheet for sure, when I came in the room I saw hairs ( NOT ONE) on the bed, it absolutely disgusts me. Secondly, no A/C in my room( I complained to the receptionist but they said they have a fan but when I checked, the fan is broken or smt can not turn it on). This is unacceptable they didnt check the room before handing it to me. And the receptionist he doesn't even know how to reply to my questions ( I talked to him in Vietnamese) One more thing they said to me they were out of room but still have this board outside of the hotel ;)

As some other reviewers wrote, they falsely advertised their rooms. The “main” hotel is under renovation, and the building we stayed at was in shambles. It was so bad, they assigned us a room with mouldy walls. When we raised the issue up, they didn’t even seem surprised or even apologised, like they knew what they were doing. Lesson is, don’t book your stay here.

No Go !!!!! Very loud Up to Midnight,No hot Walter, No breakfast,No Pool what a ripoff!

We stayed in 2 rooms at the gold hotel for one night, and it's apparent that it is undergoing some restoration, so only operating in a third of the normal hotel.|Staff were friendly and beds clean, but the hotel that remains open is tired and in need of TLC.|Shower heads all broken (shower worked but water sprayed everywhere). Bath leaked, questionable plumbing and elecs, door and window handles faulty, flaky, and damp paint.|Stairwell undergoing some work so temporary with fire doors wedged open.||The photos look similar to the rooms but staged and the reception is dingy and not like the booking.com photos.||Invredible value but be warned better is available for the same price.||Well give it a miss next time

The day before they called me and force to cancel because of no room left? Dont know why. At that time I dont have time to book a new one with the acceptable budget.

The location of the hotel is great and everything is within easy walking distance of a short taxi/bike ride away. The hotel itself was clean but all the decor is outdated and furnishings are very old. Overall, it was a good place to stay for one night to see the city of Hue.

Would recommend it for the bargain price to all backpackers looking for a night or 2 to themselves. Rooms are good size and air con is great! The pool is nice and cold and the breakfast is great! WiFi is kinda bad but all in all well worth it. Friendly staff and they offer tours and trips. Only big downer is the laundry is the most ridiculous price. Over 10x the laundromat on the next block!
