The Gold-inn is a great little motel that has been completely remodeled. It was done tastefully and it was super clean. We stayed in the deluxe cottage and were able to cook a meal there. It was very quiet because it was a few minutes outside of the main. This was a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay there again!

I would look around to other places before booking here, and definitely do not book the ‘Victorian Mansion Loft’. Upon checking in to the two bedroom loft room, we were greeted to filth everywhere, dirty underwear in the closet, and the trash hadn’t even been taken out. We brought this up that this was not acceptable and instead of offering compensation or a room change, they simply said they’d send the cleaners over. Maybe send the cleaners over before people check in and not after? We requested a new room and it was fine. The AC can’t keep up during the day. The last glaring issue was the electronic door lock stopped working and we got locked out of the room while we were trying to pack up and leave so that was super annoying. Edit for the management: Check out time is at 11am and the lock stopped working at 9:39am and the maintenance worker couldn’t get in with their code either so it definitely wasn’t an issue with me! Thanks for trying to pass that blame though. Still had dirty underwear in the closet 👍🏻 Oh and they also did not even offer a refund for the room exchange after I asked about it. Don’t even bother with this place.

We had a mixed bag during our stay. The motel is an older motor inn located close to downtown and Hot Springs National Park. The motel has been nicely renovated and was very reasonably priced for our mid-week stay in April. We booked room #17 which is full apartment with 2 king beds and full kitchen and small dining table located in an old house on the property separate from the traditional motor inn style building. Unfortunately, upon arrival it appeared that the room had either not been cleaned or only partially cleaned. There were wash cloths on the ground in the bathroom and the towels were damp. It was clear the place had not been vacuumed, and we saw lots of ants and other dead bugs in the kitchen. We brought this to the attention of the staff working on site and they acknowledged this issue and gave us room #16 for the night to give them time to clean our room and spray for bugs. Room #16 was very nice, located in a small “cottage” on the property. We moved back into room #17 the next morning. It was cleaner than it had been but still wasn’t vacuumed the best - still some particles on the floor, a beer can under a bed, and clump of fur in a corner. Ants in the kitchen remained a problem for the rest of our stay which led us to avoiding using the kitchen which was one of the main reasons we booked this room type. Other than those issues we had a good stay; the location is in an older section of town but great location to explore the town and National Park. The onsite staff were very nice, and we received quick responses to text messages to resolve issues (the check-in process is done via email with a door lock code provided which we appreciated).

This hotel was pretty much what you'd expect for the price—in a good way. It was clean and the bathroom had some nice modern updates. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe the entire time, which is always a top priority for me.||The check-in process was a little unconventional but worked out fine. I booked my room less than an hour before arriving and had to text the number posted on the office door. Everything was handled via text, and it took about 20 minutes total. Honestly, I’ve waited longer at hotels with front desks, so no complaints there.||Overall, a solid, no-frills stay that delivered on the basics and made me feel secure and comfortable.

I love Gold-Inn! This is a place where you really do get what you pay for. I stay with Gold-Inn frequently due to my work schedule, and it is consistently clean and feels safe. Whenever there have been any issues, the staff has been quick to respond and address any problems. I love the location, and it has typically been very quiet during my stays. I will be returning!

Google
Talk about a hidden gem. Don’t let the surrounding buildings fool you, this is a nice, comfy place to stay. We were in room 14. With an updated 50’s feel, this cozy little room was perfect for my wife and I. The cleaning staff was just finishing up as we arrived. After our visit to a couple of the restaurants in the area, we had our cozy cone to rest in. The bathroom was different, but that was the design back then. Definitely going to save this honey spot for future visits. Thank you.

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Before booking, the photos made the room look spacious and nice, but when I arrived, it was nothing like the pictures. All there were in the room were two queen beds-there wasn’t even a basic tea table, a small table for food, or any chairs. The worst part was the mattress: it was either a cheap, low-quality one or a used mattress. It was so saggy that my back sank right in, and I couldn’t sleep at all because my back hurt so much. The bathroom was terrible as well. For $100 a night, you’d expect at least Holiday Inn-level facilities, but this place was a complete rip-off. The facilities were worse than what you’d get for $50 a night. I strongly recommend avoiding this place and staying at a Motel 6 or any other budget motel instead. Don’t waste your money here!

Google
Really not bad for the price you pay. It's cute, smells clean. Room appeared clean, but the bathroom needed work. The mirror was streaky, shower had hairs in it, floor had stains and the toilet had...brown stains... that were washed away with one flush. But no bugs, no sheet stains, we left safe and it was a bargain with good walking distance from everything.

Yelp
10 out of 10! This place is so cute! The rooms are very small, maybe 10x10, but everything inside is new and updated! Keyless entry. Air conditioning works great, there's a ceiling fan, and TVs come with a fire stick. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee. The bathrooms are also updated. The mirrors have the de-fogging feature. Bathtub and toilet were very clean. 100% would come back

Yelp
What a cute little motel! It was decked out all vintage, I kinda felt like we were in a setting of Fallout Vault (iykyk). With the mini rooms and the decor. It wasn't super expensive and also was quiet, all the while really close to the downtown. Will stay here again!

Yelp
I booked this room for myself, mother and brother for my birthday weekend. This was our first time here and I was excited for our stay here because of the awesome reviews and they accept dogs which was a huge plus for us. I knew driving in that it would look a little sketch from the outside, but I had higher expectations for the inside and unfortunately I was let down. The room cleanliness was questionable. The ceiling fan had piles of dust on it, I was afraid to turn it on or else it would have flown everywhere. We told the ladies at the front and they had a man come clean it for us which was very much appreciated. The baseboards were disgusting, it was super dirty under the beds, the shower curtain and towels had stains, and the beds also had a couple of stains on them.. they were clean, but stained. There were a lot of areas that just didn't seem well taken care of. The panels on the walls were coming apart, the ceilings had a ton of cracks, the attic access panels were so sketchy looking, and the floors were lifting in places. The ceiling fan glass was broken, and bulbs were missing, the other light fixtures had bugs in them. The restroom light fixture was rusty, gross looking and missing the cover on it. There was rust on the shower curtain rod, and the tub itself was just awful.. I didn't even want to step in it. It felt like you were going to fall through the sub floor while standing in it. The tile was replaced by fiberglass panels which is extremely unattractive and not what the photos showed at all. The tub and sink in the bathroom were constantly dripping and there was even a leak from the tub, leaving the floor wet in the bathroom at all times, and the kitchen sink was clogged. The doors to the bedroom and bathroom don't stay shut. The front door is also not super secure. It has glass on it which is also not shown in the photos.. so it felt very unsafe. Anyone could just break the glass and open the door. The yard area also looked very different in the photos. It's not well kept, it was grass I guess, but definitely not appealing in any way. It was overgrown and unattractive.. no landscaping at all. Also it is super loud in the room at night. We heard tons of loud cars driving up and down the street all night long. That's not any fault of the owners, just figured it was worth mentioning. With that being said, there were good things about our stay. The check in process was very easy. The key was in a lockbox with the code texted to me around 10am the morning of our check in. The ac worked well, although plastic pieces broken, it did produce cold air and we were very comfortable in the room. The beds were pretty comfortable (except for the pancake pillows), and the water was very hot. It could have been worse for sure.. I just personally don't think it was worth the amount of money I paid for the 2 nights. I've stayed in far nicer places for the amount we paid.

Yelp
We stayed in June of 2023. Absolutely awful. Greeted by a strange shirtless man who claimed he lived in a house on the property. We were excited to swim in the pool, the pool was filled with gravel and the breakfast area was blocked off with gravel as well. The rooms were pretty clean though. Great place to stay if you want the thrill of your hotel room being broken into in the middle of the night.

Yelp
Fantastically upgraded retro motel. Incredibly clean and traveling as a single female, I felt very safe. Walking distance to bath house row in Hot Springs. Modern conveniences, contactless check in/out, and amazingly quiet for being in such a populated area. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Hot Springs.

Emily S.

Yelp
The Gold Inn was a cute, nicely renovated motel. Minutes away from Hot Springs National Park and the restaurants, bathhouses, and stores. The renovations in the immediate vicinity of the motel aren't the most visually appealing but didn't bother us. The interior of the room was a tight space, but immaculate and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very clean and large. The room didn't feel cramped but was smaller/comparable to a bedroom. For the price and location, Gold inn's a great place to stay for a quick trip or if you plan on spending most of your time out sightseeing.

Emily B.

Yelp
Super clean. Brand new renovations that have retro vibe. Super easy just book and you get a door code !! Will def be my go to place in Hot Springs. Such a gem !!!

Yelp
First time staying in motel type property, this place has 5 star review compared to the the other hotel properties in the area. Pulling up to the complex, it looks sketchy and run down. It didn't seem safe. Obviously it's an old town so similar places in the area look the same. We were ready to just leave and cancel our reservation even we lose one night. But I told my family to give it a chance. We went to our room and it's cute inside and super clean. The cleaning lady did an amazing job and our room was spotless. They even brought us clean towels the next day. Pool was open and it's decent size. We didn't get breakfast but they offer continental breakfast for the guests. You can also walk to downtown. I will say if u get passed the outside appearance of the property to give it a chance.

Yelp
I normally search for good deals and stay in 4+star hotels. I've never stayed in a motel before, assuming them to be "less than." Recently, my daughter and I have been going on different weekly road trips. Being a fan of all things vintage, motels have been catching my eye and I decided while in hot springs we'd give one a try. Having, when previously in Hot Springs, stayed in luxury hotels (The Waters once and Hotel Hot Springs once), I was a bit nervous. Well, if Gold Inn Motel is a taste of what I've been missing by not staying in Motels, then I have been missing some great stays! This motel was as clean (actually cleaner than some) as any luxury hotel I've stayed in. The beds are AMAZING and much more comfortable than the Ritz Carlton I recently stayed in - actually more comfortable than any hotel bed I've ever stayed in. I totally feel like - given the decor - that I'm in a 1930's -40's film. It's the perfect mix of modern convenience and nostalgia! Finally, I can't say enough about the employees I've interacted with. They respond to every TEXT and request within seconds. Matt (I think) even came to my door at 9:00 pm at night, after I text asking where I could do laundry. When I opened the door, 5 minutes after texting, he was standing there with an empty laundry basket in hand and said "Just load this up and I'll wash and dry your clothes and return them to you tonight!" I mean is this service or what?! My daughter and I took this trip to get away from the devastation to and the lack of electricity in our home and our hometown due to Hurricane Laura. Thanks to Matt, Jacob, Kristen, and Kylee, we are returning to a difficult situation with renewed energy and the excitement of many more road trips to stay at Gold Inn and visit Hot Springs in the future. Thank you Gold Inn for setting the standard of how awesome a stay at a motel can be!

Yelp
We loved this spot! I travel for work so I prefer something besides a basic hotel when traveling for fun and this remodeled roadside motel was exactly what I wanted. It was a great mix of hotel and home that made our stay perfect. We upgraded to the king suite and had room #16 which was in the cottage in the back. Plenty of parking, contactless check in with a lock box and key and we were good to go. Room was cool, clean and comfortable. The bathroom tub was awesome but I wished for a little more shelf space for my things until I realized the old timey medicine cabinet opened. Too cute. Has a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave, regular size trash can and a nice shelf. Bed was really comfortable. The property is nice, a bit far of a walk from downtown more because of some run down spots between here and there than the distance. The pool is beautiful and private from the road. The owners were quick to answer texts and bring us what we needed and even gave us some tickets to the tower. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay somewhere unique.

Yelp
I was able to spend two nights here on a recent road trip. The room was one of the cutest I've ever stayed in. It also felt impeccably clean. What it lacked in space it made up for in creative storage. The wall art centered on the National Park and fit well with the retro style of the hotel. They offer a limited breakfast but it was actually better than other hotels' offerings during Covid. The pool was delightful and made more charming by the garden bordering surrounding fence. The bathroom had wonderful shower, with places to set your shampoo etc., a very modern sink, and a cool mirror with great lighting and an anti-fog button. The only thing I would change would be a hook on the back of the bathroom door.

Megan E.

Yelp
Cute boutique motel with a retro/vintage vibe. I stayed in a room with 3 queen beds. It was like staying in a small apartment as there were 2 bedrooms. Came with a mini kitchen as well. Hopefully they update the kitchen and bathroom area in the room so it matches the rest of the space. Pricing is very reasonable and the owners are nice and responsive. The pool area is cute too. They have breakfast in the morning- it's more of a snack but it's adequate. Location was great and just a 3 minute drive to downtown area. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
If my pockets were big enough, I'd ball up Alpine Inn stick it in my pocket and take it back home to Indiana with me. So, what makes a motor lodge in Hot Springs, Arkansas as cute as a button? Well, it could be the themed rooms, adorable and friendly Scottish owners (complete with the accents), complimentary breakfast muffins and granola bars in the room, proximity to downtown Hot Springs (walkable/bikeable), included mineral baths at Quapaw Bathhouse or, maybe the the official hotel cat that greets guests? Who's to say, but those are just a few guesses. Last but not least, only $70/night. All this to say, thank you dear Yelpers for yet again leading us to another great local find.

Mark J.

Yelp
The Alpine Inn is cozy, clean and quaint. We spent 3 nights in room #7 which was decorated with an understated floral theme. Our room was equipped with a mini-fridge was big enough to house snacks and beer. We were impressed with the care that went into the restoration of this motel. With new carpet and fresh paint everything felt very clean and inviting. Other amenities include a delightful swimming pool, cable television and if you are so inclined a grill. The owners are a charming Scottish couple who are happy to attend to your needs. They can also recommend tourist attractions if you have any questions. This motel is located very close to bathouse row and the mountain tower. The Alpine Inn puts you exactly where you want to be. Highly Recommended!!

Yelp
Had the absolute pleasure of spending my first trip to Hot Springs at the Gold Inn. It's clear that the owners put in a lot of love (not to mention money, time, and effort) into this awesome boutique motel. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The aesthetic was fun and really cute. The details in the room really showed the thought the owners put into giving their guests a great experience- for example, they made a get-around guide with recs for where to get food, drinks, a bathhouse experience, etc., and a dark makeup towel for those of us that wear it (very smart and considerate of those of us that wear makeup). The pool deck is really cute and they provide coffee and breakfast treats. They allow dogs. Their rates are affordable. Again, the love put into this place is palpable and I can't wait to stay there again.

Tamar K.

Yelp
The owners could NOT be any nicer. And the location was great. Easy parking/loading. There's free coffee and snacks. I had a few issues with the wifi, although they tried VERY hard to make sure it worked for me. And I wish I had a desk or even a real chair. It was a small room with 2 queen size beds and not room for much else. But it was very clean, very quiet, very good price. And if I'd been there in warmer weather, I could have enjoyed the pool. So I might be back!

Kristen H.

Yelp
If you're on the fence don't hesitate! Great place to stay and the most bang for your buck while in hot springs. The managers are so great to work with, honest and hospitable. Everything you need for a quiet, clean, safe place to stay.

Shannon G.

Yelp
The owners are extremely nice and accommodating if you have ANY questions or want suggestions. So many small touches I would expect at a much more expensive hotel AND the location . I visit Hot Springs often and now will always try to get a room here when I'm in town. Thanks for being awesome hosts guys!!!

Patti B.

Yelp
We were passing through Hot Springs and found good things said about Alpine Inn. The accounts were right on! The Inn was so well maintained, rooms were nicely furnished, our queen beds slept well (no kings available that night). The proprietors, Baker & Justin were very accommodating, and the coffee the next morning was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Hot Springs was a really neat place. Went thru the bathhouse museum, which was very interesting and entertaining. The city is very walkable and friendly. We would definitely come back and when we do, we'll be staying at Alpine Inn.

Charlee L.

Yelp
Had a great 4 day stay over Thanksgiving. Stayed in the larger room in the cabin in back which had a separate "kitchenette" room with a sink/fridge/microwave. It was a quiet and comfortable stay for our first trip to Hot Springs that wasn't a day trip. The Inn is close enough to walk to the National Park area and all of the shops. Will definitely look into to staying there again.

Rick G.

Yelp
Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Reminds me of traveling with my family back in the 70s, only better. Perfect location near the National Park. And as a plus in the midst of the pandemic, they have a very effective contactless check in system. Definely going to stay here again

Judy P.

Yelp
Retro roadside inn with clean, modern rooms. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice. Great location

Meleah M.

Yelp
So cute. Nice owners. It's just slightly off the strip but still within an easy walk or bike ride.

Rhonda S.

Yelp
We made a one night reservation, after skimming the Yelp reviews. We found the hotel, easily. We met the owner, and checked in....here's where it starts. The room was very tiny. Cramped, with a queen sized bed, a teeny chair, a t.v. to the other side of the bed. The space between the bed was about 2 feet either way. We kept bumping into each other. There was one outlet to plug in our phones, we took turns. The bed, which took up the entire room, was gorgeous. White sparking bed spread, gold shams. We spoke with the owner, who discouraged us from nb activity we were planning on doing. (glad I didn't, it would've meant 2 nights in or around Hot Springs). The owner was nervous about the room getting dirty, even though you clearly throw away your clothes, and shower at the facility. I went and looked in the refrigerator, which was packed with 2 prewrapped muffin packs, and Capris sun juice packs. There was an antiquated coffee maker...(note to self, bring the Keurig to avoid this). I went to wash my hair in a tiny shower. Very tiny. I went to plug in the blow dryer, no bathroom outlet. Drying my hair is a 45 minute ordeal. I bumped into my mom, had to unplug my phone and plug in the blow dryer, using the mirror near the t.v....odd. The suit cases took up part of the tiny space. The make up bags, the other tiny space. I wouldn't return here again. The plus side is: the hotel provided us with a 10% discount on Quapaw, and free wifi which occasionally worked. I used the wifi to look up the crime statistics in Hot Springs. then I heard neighborhood noises all night, and kept checking my car. I guess this room would be fine if you were traveling alone, bear in mind no bathroom outlets.

Shelly L.

Yelp
This place just gets better and better. I've been staying here since 2017, and it never disappoints. Please don't stay in a crappy hotel, or a super expensive one "in town." Stay here, in a lovely, unique, quirky little place with lovely neighbors, close to everything, but far enough to have a quiet sleep. Such a cool, off the strip, independent, awesomely weird little gem.

Dustin H.

Yelp
Okay, I'm trying to review this fairly and as a whole. Disclaimer, all in all my personal stay and room would earn right at or just short of 4 stars. While looking for a place to stay we noticed the overwhelming 5 star reviews and booked, particularly since the big old (supposedly nice) hotels downtown had 2-3 star reviews. I just want to address what I would have like to know in booking the room. Pros: We stayed in the house, which is great. I am not a fan of motels, those rooms where your bedroom door opens up to the street. That is what at least half of the rooms at Alpine are and I didn't really know that nor did I know that we would be staying in the house. In the house it is much more like a B&B. We really liked our room. It had a bedroom, small sitting room (2 TVs!), a kitchen with sink and fridge and a bathroom. It also has a balcony which was great--you do share it with the room across the way so a divider would be helpful but in our case on the 2 times I sat out to enjoy a cigar on the balcony (ash trays are plentiful in outdoor areas here, a vacation plus) my neighbors were not in need of the space. The bed was very nice, comfortable. There is a coffee pot, which is great. The pool is also very nice and well maintained, we enjoyed a few swims. The free snacks and drinks were also a great plus, I'm a huge V8 for breakfast guy and appreciated the touch. The owners seemed very, very friendly and helpful. I imagine that is at least some if not much of the reason for the across the board 5 star reviews. Cons: The only real problems in the room we had were that the wi-fi was extremely spotty and usually didn't work much at all for us and as it was a very hot summer and there is no central heat and air and only window units it was very hot on our first night. My guess is that the room had been vacant and the window units were off prior to our arrival. We left them running while we were there and by the second night it was perfect temperature and we slept well. Also, location. Although in theory it would be THAT long of a walk to the activities and sites, in summer heat it is too far and for night life I wouldn't want to risk a walk back after drinks and from what I could find there are no reliable trolleys or taxis. That said, it didn't seem to be in a crime ridden neighborhood, it' s just that this end of the strip is in need of repair and renovation and the only real eatery close by is the Park Avenue Bistro (a must dinner). I have a feeling that if the strip ever builds out again and gets closer this will be a prime location. I would certainly consider staying here again if I could be in the house or a similar arrangement. There was an electric fireplace so I imagine a fall/winter trip here would be spot on. So, like I said, I think my trip was closer, all in all, to a 4 out of 5 star spot especially considering how affordable this place is. But, to be fair and discuss it all, I would have to give a 3 or a 3.5 as if we'd been in the road rooms we'd have ranked the stay lower. I hope this seems legit and fair for a review! Just my opinion, I think it's well worth the money if you're considering it.

Heather H.

Yelp
We stayed at the Gold Inn for two nights. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. You can definitely tell it has been renovated. My only con was the location of the toilet in the restroom. It was so far in the corner and when sitting on it I was literally inches away from the wall. I'm 4' 11" so I imagine it would be more uncomfortable for a taller, bigger person. Not a big deal though, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. There were muffins and snacks in the lobby for breakfast and the pool looked nice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Pepper M.

Yelp
Affordable with a friendly vibe from both owners and guests. The bathroom was completely remodeled and comfortable in size.

Claire T.

Yelp
Don't judge this Inn by its cover!! I was skeptical of staying here just because it's not your traditional hotel, but our stay here was phenomenal! The rooms are spacious, the snacks are complimentary and replenished daily, and Justin and Baker are so helpful! It's so close to the city center, which was good for going to get food. The bed is what we'll miss the most, so comfy!! Definitely recommend, and we will be back!

T. M.

Yelp
This clean and quaint little inn won't disappoint the down to earth traveler. The on - site owner- operator is friendly and readily available. The pool is refreshing. We didn't hear much noise and parking was convenient. Off the main tourist street, it is still very convenient to the Park and all the shops and bath house row. Highly recommend. Great value.

Ariana B.

Yelp
Staying here was a wonderful experience! The owners met us to check us in and were very friendly and explained everything they offered and gave ideas for things to do in the evening. The room was small, but clean and welcoming and had everything you could need. The one complaint was that the WiFi was fairly slow, but it was adequate, and all of the outlets were filled, I had to unplug the lamp to plug my phone in. Overall very welcoming and cozy experience, would stay here again!

Eric C.

Yelp
Took my wife and daughter for a visit. Our former favorite hotel in the area is a now-closed chain hotel. The room here was quaint but adorable, the facilities were good, the pool(most important part for my almost 5 year old) was great. We had a blast and look forward to returning.

Debbie R.

Yelp
Updated Motor Inn from the 50s - 60s! Updated bathrooms in retro colors and a good queen bed. You park up next to your room... same as in the past 1960's. Nice TV and internet and fresh and clean. Our room is one queen bed, room is small but adequate. I can't wait to tell friends about this find. Rates are good also! I love parking right at by my door... no foyer entry to walk through... down the hall then up the elevator... then down the hall again... you get out of vehicle at Gold Inn and the door to your room is 15 feet away! So cool!

Mary Kay W.

Yelp
I recently went to Hot Springs to visit my daughter and stayed at Gold Inn at her suggestion. So happy I did! I felt very comfortable, the room was very clean and I slept great every night! The pool was amazing and I spent as much time as I could in it! Justin and Baker were so kind and accommodating. I will be back!!

Kerri A.

Yelp
Very cute motel, loved the retro style of it. I'm sure the breakfast room is normally an opportunity to socialize a little with other guests, but with Covid, it was a little lonely. I loved the lockbox system for contactless check in, and the room was plenty cool and had a few amenities. Mattresses left a little to be desired, as did storage in the bathroom, but overall was a nice change to a chain hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Laura P.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped in a stayed at the Alpine Inn on our way through town. The innkeepers were super nice! They showed us to our rooms, which one we had booked became unavailable due to something that needed to be fixed, so they upgraded us to the king suite. The rooms are very nice and were super clean. There wasn't really anyone else here when we checked in, but by night the place looked totally booked, so it must have a good reputation. The grounds are nice and quiet and there is a little patio area for gathering outside. Will definitely be staying here again if we come back through!

Jme K L.

Yelp
This is by no means a five star hotel, in the traditional sense, but it is a fantastic place to stay in Hot Springs. We stayed in the Fleur de Lis room. It was roomy, extremely clean, and comfortable. The property is lovingly well maintained by the owners, a charming and accommodating older couple. It is also just a twenty minute walk from historic downtown and bathhouse row. You absolutely cannot beat the value! We plan to stay here again when we visit in the future.

My husband and I came to Hot Springs at the last minute in order to make it for a funeral. The Alpine Inn was able to accommodate our needs quite well. As a matter of fact, Eric personally welcomed us and even upgraded us from the room we originally ordered to a suite in the main house that was built in 1905, for no extra charge! The place is warm, welcoming, and definitely going to be the go-to place for my husband and I when we come to Hot Springs in the future!

Yelp
Alpine Inn really made our stay in Hot Springs so nice! We visited for our 5th year Anniversary. Eric the owner was a sweetheart & greeted us and showed us around the room. We stayed in the Rose Room. It was nice & clean & had an antique, southern charm to it. It was kind of like a mixture of a bed & breakfast type quarters & a hotel room. Just what I wanted because I don't care much for hotel rooms. I prefer cottages, homes, or places like this. :) The Alpine is extremely affordable & private. Our room had a private porch and was very quite. King size bed slept like a dream & deep country size bath made for two wonderful bubble baths. Our suite also had a dvd player which is a MAJOR BONUS for me since I HAVE to sleep with my Golden Girls dvds playing all night. lol Only reason 5 stars was not given was that the air conditioning unit was a wall unit & kept going on & off every minute and I spent about an hour or so turning the tv volume up & down from the unit noise until I could fall asleep. And the room had hardwood floors so they were freezing in the morning. Lastly, there were no plugs in the bathroom which made it a bit challenging to do my hair in the morning. Other than those three minor things, it was absolutely PERFECT for us! And we HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yelp
If you are considering a stay at the Alpine Inn while in Hot Springs, look no further because you've stumbled across one of Arkansas' gems. The owners, a friendly Scottish couple, are just adorable. They are sincerely concerned about their property and are sweet as pie. They helped us avoid the St Patrick's day parade route so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic - that's just one example of how nice they were all weekend. Staying at the Alpine really felt like a treat and it didn't break the bank - about $100 a night at their largest king suite on a holiday weekend. Our suite was very clean, the sheets and towels looked and smelled like they just came out of the laundry, and the bathroom didn't have a speck of mildew. That would never happen in a big chain motel! The breakfast included with the room was generous - fresh fruit, sweet muffins, cereal and milk, coffee, tea, yogurt, orange juice, bottled water... very nice! We had free wi-fi, a huge new tv with cable, a balcony that overlooked the property, and a non-squeaky non-lumpy California king size bed. The property may look like any other roadside motel on Park Ave. but don't let that change your mind about staying here. I felt very safe and there weren't any sketchy people hanging out, or guests being loud late at night (and on St Patty's weekend that's pretty much a miracle). I won't stay anywhere else next time I'm in Hot Springs! Last little tidbit- if you want to try the Quapaw Bathhouse, ask the owners for passes because you'll get them at a significant discount from the Alpine Inn.

Yelp
Stop whatever you're doing and just stay here. This is exactly why Yelp exists - so that the little consumer's voice can share with the world something truly unique and special, and you'll know it's me. A corporation would never tell you to stay here. Why? This is a hand-remade gem tucked in Hot Springs, born of the blood, sweat and tears of a Scottish couple, and they're lovely people. And they should be proud to know that it worked out splendidly. Quaint, clean and comfortable, this is a lovely place and an incredible value. I look forward to my return. Say hi to Al the cat from me!

Yelp
Great little motel. Sort of like a bed and breakfast but breakfast consists if 2 Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, 2 granola bars and 2 Capri sun drinks :-). There are sitting areas in back where you can relax. The owners Eric and Leslie are so nice. There is some covered parking. Eric said if the weather turned bad he would pull their cars out and let me park my new car under the cover if necessary. Eric took us to our room and showed us around. While not a new modern motel, the Alpine is clean and has a homey feel. It is close to the historic area. A little far to walk if you aren't in pretty good shape. Quick drive though.

Yelp
Per Yelp, I decided to stay here too for a night: ended up staying a second to see the town better, Erik and Leslie are good hosts, and Erik especially likes to talk to his guests about stuff. Very accommodating & cozy. The cat liked to hang out by my room too.

Yelp
Wow! Where do I begin? We Just got back from our stay at the Alpine Inn, and everything that has been said here about the Inn is 100% accurate. The owners are very friendly and kind. They obviously care a great deal about their property and pleasing their guests. The buildings, while older, show a great level of maintenance. Everything was clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable, the room updated with modern amenities. The decor was calming and tasteful, not outdated or too fussy. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and it had everything we needed. There were also a few "treats" in the room we could munch on, which was unexpected and pleasant. The Inn is located only a mile off of downtown, so if you're an active person, the walk is fine, saves gas and money on parking, too. Although it was close to downtown, the atmosphere was peaceful to us, and we enjoyed a few evenings out on our "porch" with "Al" the cat snuggled in our laps. I will always recommend the Alpine Inn to anybody staying in Hot Springs.

Yelp
The owners are super great. Leslie greeted my sister, my husband, and I at the door. She escorted us to the upstairs "suites" above where they reside. It was charming in every way from comfort to practicality. In this space consisted of two second floor apartment style spaces with complete kitchens, bathrooms, and an adjoining balcony. My husband and I took the larger suite, my sister took the smaller, but we spent most of our time together on the balcony. Prices are amazing. Parking is abundant. The owners leave snacks and drinks such as granola bars and capri suns in a cute basket free of charge. They refresh your room every morning/afternoon depending on your schedule. Not a great neighborhood, but I felt absolutely safe on the premises. Super clean and comfortable. Incredible service. Refreshing experience! Beautiful renovation of an off charming

Yelp
Great rustic feeling very near the main strip of Hot Springs. Nice staff and the rooms have all you need. They even use real keys for the doors, which is truly special in a fast paced digital world. Great job.

Yelp
THE place to stay in hot springs.. this place is adorable. super clean, lots of charm, and the super friendly scottish couple made us feel instantly at home. we got a customized map of downtown, and they gave us a buisness card so if we got lost downtown we could call them if we got confused... (this alone is worth of 5 stars in my book!) oh, and REAL coffee in the room. a+ also our room was $68 for the night, which is a steal for what you get here in terms of hospitality and comfort! couldn't be happier after a day on the road!

Yelp
I was just passing through Hot Springs AR and the Alpine Inn was recommended to me by another hotel that was sold out. I was a little skeptical at first because it has a motel appearance and I was traveling alone and worried about safety but I quickly felt right at home. The owners are so sweet and helpful. They immediately made me feel safe and welcomed. After getting into the room I was impressed how adorable and modern the room was decorated. This is definitely no motel this is a boutique hotel in Arkansas, I was shocked. Though its not right on the strip its just a quick ride down to the town and well worth it for comfort and price. What was supposed to be a one night stop over to Hot Springs turned into a two night relaxing stay. I contribute that to the Alpine Inn and my perfect stay. I highly recommend this as a place to stay when in the area. In fact I plan on returning and bringing friends.
